Filled out the form on from their app - printer everything our and mailed my passport to them for renewal on Sept 3rd. Got it back Sept 15th!! I can't believe how fast they were able to get it to me!! Fantastic customer service. It's easy is not easy. Sudden international business trip, my passport expired after covid. I fully expected to pay expedite fees and its easy continually set service charges and expectations they could not meet. They quoted me around $600 for a 6 day turn around. Sounds decent. About an hour after I gave them my credit card I got a call saying that no, they can't give me 6 day service BUT if I give them $300 more AND physically deliver the paperwork to NYC I'll get 3 day service. Ok, fine, by now I'm stuck. I take the paperwork down to the city and am told I'll get my passport shipped to me in 3 business days. Before I'm even back home (!!!) I get a call from its easy telling me it will take 6 business days and I need to pick the passport up in the city. Ok, so refund my 3 day fee and charge me for 6 day service. They can't do that. Long story short this is a scam, they know if you're calling them you're desperate and they upcharge and push out dates. I'm fully expecting a call tomorrow telling me there's another 2 week delay. I'll be in touch with the BBB, this scam should be illegal. Do not use its easy. read more

The worst manipulative company I have seen if I could give them zero stars I would. They were the third party vendor that was hired through the Toyota dealership I bought my vehicle from. Litteraly the only thing they did was send out my DMV documentation and they stopped there. They let my in transit tags expire and they did nothing. Not even a follow up call. What's more is when you call, they put you on hold and give you no information. They only responded to emails from staff at the dealership requesting a tracking number. Another lady answered the phone when I called back after not hearing back from them and tried to tell me in a confident tone she was waiting for the deal from my dealership in the same conversation when she said she had the tracking number of the documentation that they sent to the DMV!! Obviously you received the deal ma'am if you sent my paperwork from the dealer to the DMV. Are you kidding me? I dont entertain incompetence and stupidity so I hung up the phone on her. They litteraly washed their hands of the situation and told me to call the DMV. They told me I would have better luck getting temporary tags over nighted by calling the DMV myself. Well I called the DMV myself and found out that was a lie. Leslie pretends to be nice by being nice on the phone but really it's a ploy so you can do her job for her and she can rob me of the service fee I paid my dealer to simply mail off paperwork. I ended up having to go to the dealership myself and get the DMV on the phone so the manager at the dealership could do the job of Its Easy to get me temporary tags. Unreal!! read more

It's Easy was an incredible expedited passport service. I travel every two weeks and was freaking out about how I could possibly get a new passport in that time frame. It's Easy was incredibly kind with their time on the phone, they emailed me extremely specific instructions, and never failed to answer follow up queries to ensure that I got everything right. I had horrible service at this location today. The man who "helped" me was dismissive and discourteous. He barely got off the phone to address me. And, he was much, MUCH kinder/friendlier to the white man who walked up while I was waiting. It was an awful experience. I used this service to renew my passport. They are in the basement of Rockefeller Center in one of the center aisles. I wanted to make sure I got it back within a month and this place does that for you. The whole process takes about 30 minutes depending on how fast you can fill out the forms. There's a photoshop right there too if you don't have the photos. It's cash only so be prepared for that and you have to pay the renewal fee as well as their fee, which varies depending on how fast you want the passport back. I think the month option was $170 but i don't recall. They did next day as well but it was pretty pricey. But in an emergency it might be worth it. Good service and easy process. read more

I never write reviews, but in this instance I need to warn potential clients. Although they do there job, the methodology is far from professional. I went to the location at 30 Rock and paid for services, to be completed, not in a rush but in 4 weeks. I got a call in a few days saying my passport was in, but I had to take care of one of the employees in order to get my document. I was livid, tried to call the owner, was put on hold , hung up, and ultimately could not get through. I was then told my passport was not there and to pick it up in 4 weeks. Shady, unprofessional and poor business practice. I hope the owner sees this and stops this behavior. ZERO STARS. read more

Amazing that this location continues to exist. Worst service, gruff, rude, and unhelpful. Came in for a notary public, after calling to see if it was a good time to come in. Main guy rudely yelled at us that woman was on the phone (we gathered the notary) and no idea if we could get this done in an hour or a day. He then yells at us to go to a wall (we later find out there is a store behind the wall). We do go to store, and call again, and woman on the phone tells us to come back. So we do, and man is rude to us AGAIN. Now, we wait and once I mention quietly to my husband that I'm going to start a yelp review, all of a sudden it can be done, while she is on the phone. I have been working to obtain a visa, and neither the information on their website nor the information I was told over the phone was accurate, which resulted in me sending the client on a wild goose chase costing lots of extra money. This place is terrible, fake and very unprofessional. My sister and I came to them requesting a expedited passport for my new born niece, providing all required documents, paid the $250 fee, they sent me to the post office and paid another fee (which is fine) but only if they did what they were supposed to. Complete rip off, they ended up telling us to go to the passport office on Hudson street ourselves and complete the process!! They are super stupid, one document was missing and they couldn't figure out what document it was!! Isn't it their job to facilitate? Wouldn't you think they know what documents are needed?!!! I paid for a family car transfer and they did not complete the job. I emailed and called multiple times over the course of several months in an attempt to resolve this amicably with no response. I asked a simple question about where should the family member sign on the title and they were unable to answer. Nor did the people I was dealing with understand how to proceed (??!!) They make people pay in cash in advice. I advise you only pay by credit card so you are protected in case the service is not fully rendered. OK. If I was a normal person that planned things ahead I would have saved hundreds of dollars. But I procrastinated on getting my passport renewed and had to have It's Easy expidite it. WIth a trip to Germany coming up in just under a month, taking a day off to wait at the passport office or to risk not getting it in time, these guys were worth it. This place I mean it works for what it works, but majority of the time, they're just irresponsible. First you have to call about 10x's before anyone answers. Then they say they will call you back because no one seems to know any information about anything!! With the technology we have now a days and for as well of a known company that this is, you would think they at least could have it on a computer system the statuses of work that's sent to them. My dealer in Massachusetts overnighted my registration paper work 12 days ago (April 10) and confirmed receipt of the documents by ItsEasy on Thursday (April 15, but may have been a day sooner, he did not specify). I phoned It'sEasy to ask for an update and they will not speak to me about it, only to the dealer. Last time I checked Registration is public domain information so if I can identify the name of the owner getting the registration and give him demographic information on the myself, then why not at least confirm you got the paperwork and give an estimate of when you will get to the DMV? There is certainly no privacy issue here? I was not asking for someones medical records.......so now it's been more than a week for a service that is advertised as "within 24 hours of receipt." read more

Do not use this company to try and get an expedited passport. They tried to charge me $800 to get a passport done the next day. You can go to the Post Office and they'll direct you as to how you can get the passport for $200 and get it within one day. This is a big ripoff company. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This company is an absolute joke - I can't even believe it's in business. They handled a car title and registration for me when I bought a vehicle from an NY dealer (the dealer required I use them). They sat on the paperwork so long that my temp plates expired. Anytime I tried talking to someone here about the status, they told me they had to call me back and of course nobody did each time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This is my first and only posting of a company ever, but I have to state this to warn others. Do NOT use them. My first visit here I saw someone very angrily complaining to them. I ignored the omen, and it was a huge mistake. I paid this company the highest rush fees for a US passport (48 hour turnaround), which they took THREE WEEKS to then produce, with me needing to come in THREE times to retake my photo and once more to resign documents I had already filled out. I also had to get a visa, and as every re-shoot took place, I was every time, 100% assured there would be no problem and I would get all my documents in time. By the time I finally got my new passport, the person in charge of the office pulled me to the side and pleaded with me not to make a scene, because she then told me not only was she going to charge me the full US passport rush fee, but they couldn't help me anymore with the visa and I had to take care of it on my own. For a flight that was departing in 48 hours. They honestly could care less and washed their hands of me to figure it out. I hated my experience with this place and I will never use It's Easy again if I can help it. I required a last minute visa to China and was told by another family member about this company. She had previously used them for a regular visa request and they were "pretty good." Unfortunately, what they are TERRIBLE at is emergency, time-sensitive situations like the one I had. Customer service is practically non-existent at the company. Repeated requests for information were met with nonsensical babbling and vague qualifiers ("it GENERALLY take 2-3 days but COULD take longer" was a common refrain, understandable when I initially brought my paperwork to their office but much less acceptable as an answer once they had already turned the application in at the embassy and had a pick-up receipt). They are NOT able to advocate for you at the embassy, they are NOT able to track the progress of your application during the course of the day, they are essentially just running the applications back and forth to the embassy and paying some guy to stand in line for you. If you just need a person to stand in line, then this service is perfectly fine, but if it's a time sensitive request, they will only ADD to your stress. One particularly egregious error they made was when they received notice that additional information was requested by the embassy for visa approval. They attempted to contact me twice (at around 2:30PM). When I called them back at 6:10PM that day, they completely forgot whatever information they previously needed to tell me about and instead gave me vague platitudes about how everything was fine and I SHOULD get it in the next day or two. Fast forward to the next morning, when they frantically called me again to inform me of the embassy's additional request for information then had the gall to chastise ME for not calling them earlier! I would have been much better off standing in the lines myself, able to get clear answers to my questions from the embassy representatives and not having to wait until the end of each day, wading through multiple layers of people, to get an answer to my questions. Also, my requests each day to be contacted as soon as they knew the progress of my application was agreed to and then promptly forgotten. This company needs to get better technology installed so representatives can easily pull up information about a client and have a clear idea of who is being spoken to and what needs to be said. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars - WORST notary experience of my life. Background: I travel a lot for work and am selling a home. Given my travel, I wasn't able to be there for the closing, which meant I needed to sign my documents from NYC. Some of them needed to be notarized, which is why this terrible experience came to be. The Situation: From the onset, it was clear I was not going to be dealing with professional people. The notary herself was wearing sunglasses inside the office (their location is in the lower level of the building...even the lighting down there is dim). Then, she started up an argument with the front desk clerk I was working with while I was standing there. In total, I needed five documents notarized plus one notary affidavit that essentially states, "yes, this person came to me and signed these documents in person and I checked their ID to verify identity etc. etc." So all in all, pretty standard stuff. Well, she refused to notarize the affidavit ("I can't notarize it if you don't sign it")...there was no place for me to sign on that document. This document is for all the OTHER signatures included in the package. Common sense meant nothing to her, and she made me randomly sign the document before she would notarize it. And speaking of that, literally all she does is sign. She has her front desk clerk fill in the rest of the information/stamp. He himself was barely competent enough to understand what needed to be done. I found at least four errors where he either missed necessary information, or actually wrote the information on the "sign here" sticker...seriously?? Not to mention while I was doing a final look through everything to verify all was correct (these are important documents people, plus there had already been multiple errors made) he started rushing me and trying to reach for my cash to move me along. Also, they won't tell you this (nor is it posted anywhere), but they are cash only. Which meant at the end of this terrible experience, I then had to find an ATM to pay for their terrible service. read more

Don't count on this place to get you your passport when they say they are going to- or to even give you a reason why it's delayed. I paid for a 1 week expedited passport renewal, plus $25 for fed ex overnight shipping. I was supposed to receive my passport on Wednesday, but by Friday I still did not receive it. When I called to ask what happened, not only could they not find a record of my passport, the man who was on the phone (Muslef) was very rude, and seemed very annoyed that I was asking a completely legitimate question about the status of my passport. At first he couldn't find a record of my passport, asked me if i'm sure of my last name (uh, yeah), then said it was fed exed out, but could not give me a tracking number. Then he abruptly said I had to call back in 30 minutes so I can talk to "the girl". He later called me back to apologize for being rude and said he he will have my passport in his hand by 4pm and will ship it out on Monday, but again, with no explanation as to why it's delayed, or why he told me before that it was already shipped out. Basically I am getting my passport back in 2 weeks, after paying extra to have it in 1 week, with no explanation, and was treated very rudely on the phone when asking a legitimate question. Don't waste your time or money here, there are other places in the city that can provide this service, and honestly I wouldn't risk leaving my passport with an agency that operates so incompetently. I have used this location on and off for the last 7 years, through different employers. They always had everything done on time in my experience. However, I have begun to take passport requests to them from my new employer, and have gone in person each time, versus sending someone to handle. I am being completely honest with you when I say that I have never, ever seen people so bitter, dismissive, uncaring, disinterested, depressed, stressed, and you sense a lack of organization when you are there. The same players have worked there for years, so you deal with the same people, give or take one. The front person is a girl whose attitude will ruin your life. Literally. You dont know what to do- speak, ask, try to communicate, scream, get furious, cry...you just know that once you open lines of communication, you will regret it and the trip you need to make. You aren't given a sense of reassurance that they will handle things professionally, that they value your business, but their prices certainly have high expectations. I witnessed someone scream at them for their lack of service and for not having his passport ready, even though he called in and was told it was there. He paid a $250 expedited fee, the highest you can pay, to have a renewal in a day or two. You wouldnt believe the conversation that went between the two. I was second on line, waiting to be attended, and the head boss lady is walking around. I ask her a question and she shoos me away like Im a dog or an enemy. I am serious. I was flabbergasted to see that these are the people charging so much money for a service they dont even live up to. If you have any other options, please go somewhere else. If you want to gamble your chances of getting your passport or VISA and deal with basically no customer service, go ahead. But, the end result doesnt change the fact that these people are the perfect example of unprofessional, uncivil, lack etiquette and do not deserve midtown's business. This place is a Godsend. Our whole family, four of us, needed visas for China and my daughter needed a passport. After the first attempt to submit the forms, which proved unsuccessful, Claudia guided me through the process. She told me what was needed, what the visa people are looking for and what not to include. China is notoriously difficult on travelers from the US because the government wants to be able to track your every move from the minute you set foot on Chinese soil, so if you are traveling to multiple destinations and you are not with a group or tour, it can be tough. (Most Americans don't think of being tracked down that way.) In any case, we submitted all the paperwork which Claudia expertly looked over to make the process seamless and we got our visas about 1 week later. I can't recommend this place enough. These people are incompetent. I purchased a car out of state, and was compelled by the lienholder to title and register it through this "service". They claim to "get the plate [in any state]," but guess what? My temp tag is expiring and I don't have the plate. They told the dealer I needed to give them my emissions test paperwork. Where I live, there is no emissions test. A two-word Google search would have told them that. So they did nothing until I started calling the dealership's corporate parent. It's not enough to say you can help people in every state. You have to actually do it. You have to actually know how to get information, which these days is as simple as picking up your smartphone and opening the browser. I tried twice to register the car myself with DMV, but they wouldn't do it. So I'm paying for a car I can't register and, thanks to It's Easy's utter incompetence, my car will be off the road for at least four days. That's IF they get the tags to the dealer when they said they would, and IF the dealer overnights them to me. I'm near the DMV every week and know how to fill out the lien section on DMV paperwork, so I paid $125 for a service I didn't even want. After all that, they didn't even provide the service. I can't imagine trusting them with something like a visa. I knew, one way or another, doing business in the NYC area was going to cause some kind of problem. Never again.
