I agreed to pay more because I thought they were a premium service. What a joke - my pool never had so many issues. They overcharge for the market and the value is definitely out of scope. They upcharge every single chemical by nearly criminal amounts (and again it's a MYSTERY what you're being charged). They have 0 communication with their customers and apparently have expectations they don't communicate. It's apparent they're running a scam and really... truly... don't care about what happens to your pool - because they'll CHARGE you to fix it. I promise you, this company is a complete scam that hides behind a wall with 0 etiquette or customer service - completely rude and aggressive in their approach which is unreal coming from a business. As a professional myself who deals with customers, I could never (ever) imagine taking they approach they take when presented with issues or concerns. I agree with Buster... The biggest problem was the billing -- invoices were vague, unpredictable, and often higher than what was originally discussed. It's difficult to feel comfortable as a customer when you don't know what you're being charged for. The owner/repair tech also wasn't as accurate in diagnosing my spa heater problem as he believed himself to be. After several visits and several invoices, the issue still wasn't resolved. Only on the final visit was the real problem finally identified and repaired, and the heater has been working since. While I'm glad the heater is now functioning, the path to get there involved too much confusion, too many charges, and too little clarity. Because of that, I can only give a two‑star rating.

Extremely Disappointed After Two Years - Poor Service and Rude Customer Interaction…read more I had a two-year relationship with Blue Promise Pools that ended poorly due to unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from Casey, the company's owner. While I initially stayed with them because they consistently showed up, the truth is the pool was never truly clean--and that became especially obvious during the warmer months. For the past two years in a row, around the same time of year, my pool turned completely green. The first time it happened, Casey told me it was "normal for this time of year." That explanation never sat right with me, especially since I live in a neighborhood where nearly every home has a pool, and none of my neighbors experience the same issue. Plus, I had lived in this home for over a decade without ever seeing my pool turn into a swamp--until I hired this company. This year, when the pool turned green again, I reached out. After the technician's first visit left the pool a mess, Casey sent him out again. The second time, the tech simply stirred things up to make the surface appear clearer and sent Casey a misleading photo. Casey then texted me saying the pool looked "great for this time of year." I was stunned--not only did it take two visits to get it looking passable, but now the photo was being used to pretend everything was fine. When I called Casey to express my concerns--particularly that his employee misrepresented the state of the pool--he completely lost his temper, yelling, "How many times do we have to talk about this?!" That moment confirmed it for me: Casey had no interest in resolving the issue professionally or listening to feedback. He made it abundantly clear he didn't value our business or care about providing actual customer service. I also feel regretful for having trusted them with expensive work, including replacing the pool heater and electronics--especially since those electronics are already falling off the wall. At the end of the day, Casey demonstrated that he's the kind of business owner who insists on being right, even when he's clearly wrong. Thankfully, after switching to a new pool service, our pool was crystal clear in four days, and the in-floor cleaning system is now running perfectly with just a few control adjustments. Bottom line: I would not recommend Blue Promise Pools. Poor water quality, careless service, and a complete lack of professionalism or accountability from management made this one of the worst service experiences I've had.
