We loved Itadaki Ramen. I had no idea how beautiful this restaurant would be. The wall murals, lighting and gorgeous booths, chairs and tables were quite a surprise. I hadn't familiarized myself with their expansive menu before we went. Our waiter, Jesse, was terrific and quided us through the appetizer descriptions as we settled in. I wanted to try their fish and chose the Japanese Mackerel, a Grilled Saba, for $7.50 from their rotating appetizer list. My spouse loves Chicken Karaage and just had to have that from the permanent app list. The Chicken Karaage was $7 for Fried-marinated boneless thigh meat with kewpie mayo, and bonito flakes. Itadaki also has a spicy mayo that is delicious. So we noshed and perused the amazing menu that had Bento boxes, sushi, dinner entrees, their Hokkaido-Style ramen and more. The Mackerel was lovely. It was a perfect small filet with charred skin and I shared it with my husband only to realize later that after the chicken, I had stopped taking photos. We just sat and ate our way to the end of a wonderful meal. The Chicken Karaage was terrific. So my Husband ordered the Chicken Katsu Bento. The Bentos come with salad, miso soup, a large portion of rice - he chose fried rice - steamed broccoli, gyoza, and fruit. ($20 + $2) The Bento portion is a lot of food, especially if you have appetizers. I ordered Jesse's recommended Ramen, the Nigori Chicken Broth. It's their signature creamy broth with lots of curly egg noodles and I chose the pork chase and light sodium. It came with egg, corn, scallions and mushrooms and there was no way that I could finish it. Definitely Delicious. The leftovers rode well. We had a lovely time and I definitely want to return. Parking can be a little tight directly in front as this strip center contains some very popular places, but there is a large parking lot at one end that will suffice. read more

This place has been our regular spot since they opened. We have had several different servers and they are always very sweet and quick to accommodate if you have any food allergies. Can vouch for their shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, dumplings, ramen, and kaisen don. The inside is beautiful and really shines at night. Food usually doesn't take long to come out and they will keep an eye out if your drinks need refills. By far the best ramen spot in Mansfield! Their food is solid when ordering to go too! read more

The ramen was pork and chicken broth based. There was no Tonkotsu option which is my go to. Seems like all the broths had similar base with flavor options added. The pork and chicken chaschu pieces were falling apart and didn't have a lot of flavor. I went with the Kara Miso "flavor" and it wasn't very spicy. I'm kind of baffled by the high reviews of this restaurant. I'll start by saying the service was great, but the food was absolutely disgusting. This is not my first time eating here. In fact I first ordered from them on DoorDash and they completely messed up my order and then personally delivered me the correct one, which I think again goes toward the great customer service, however after all that waiting you can imagine my disappointment when the food was awful. Even down to the edamame. I chopped that experience up to the fact that I had ordered online. Fast forward to today, my family and I go in person so I'm expecting much more, and we order like half the menu (everything except the ramen). I'm not kidding when I say the food was awful, even down to the miso soup, which I spit out. The sushi I ordered I couldn't even eat. Honestly my entire experience coming to Itadaki Ramen was very mediocre. The host and server were seemed confused the entire time, maybe they were just hired? The appetizers we ordered were surprisingly small, and they were expensive for seemingly no reason. The quality of food overall was poor, definitely did not reflect the price. Not a fan, I don't find it to be authentic at all. We asked for omission of items and they overlooked the request and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience (because it was a pick up order and we had to return back to the restaurant for it to be fixed) they suggested we state what we did want in the order next time when ordering online. Well what difference does it make if we say what we want versus what we don't want, you didn't follow what the notes said either way! It was our first and last time there. Hubby and I decided to try this new place. Did not disappoint. We each had (can't remember the name) but one with both pork and chicken broth and one just chicken broth. Of the options we added spicy miso plus extra spicy on the side. Spicy edamame (not our favorite cause it was a bit dry and virtually no spice) and goyza (can't spell) they were yummy. I know I've heard they are a bit expensive, which is true, BUT...it's in Mansfield in a brand new building and not a chain. Please go support. I guess I'm missing something on the Ramen craze. Noodles and broth??? To start, the service at Itadaki was top notch and friendly. The restaurant ambiance was nice and clean. We basically ordered two appetizers and tree bowls of chicken noodle soup and our bill was over $70 including tip. I don't understand how they can charge so much for broth and noodles???? I can buy a can of Camble's chicken noodle soup at the store for $1.49. Overall I enjoy the Camble's soup more than the Ramen. The Camble's soup has more flavor. For what the salty water cost, I would rather go to a good BBQ place instead. read more
