Pretty good candy, but just a little expensive. Workers were nice, and the store looked pretty cool. Overall 4/5 experience.

We ended up getting 3 different flavors. I got the one sugar free dairy free option that they had which I think was a raspberry sorbet and it was delicious!!! I usually dislike sorbet, but this one was not too sweet and perfectly refreshing on a hot day. It was full of raspberry seeds and felt like it actually was mostly made up of fruit. My daughter was indecisive and tried several flavors, and the employee was more than happy to offer additional samples.

Once you get to the counter, you'll find an incredible selection of shaved ice and homemade ice cream, with endless combinations of flavors and toppings to create your perfect treat. Mixing your own flavors is half the fun, and everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and exactly what you want on a warm Maui afternoon. Beyond the amazing shaved ice and ice cream, what made this visit even more meaningful was seeing the energy returning to Lahaina. Every local business that's open represents another step in the community's recovery, and it's inspiring to see visitors and residents coming together to support them. If you're visiting Maui, make a point to stop by Island Cream Co.--you'll enjoy an incredible treat while also supporting the continued revitalization of one of Hawaii's most beloved towns. We'll definitely be back!

The outlet prices are great here, with $4 T-shirts or 7 for $20. They are decent quality, many of which are 100% cotton! There are tote bags here on special for $6.99 (regular $9.99) the same style that costs $16-$20 everywhere else on Front Street! There is a large selection of dresses, aloha shirts, T-shirts and souvenirs, the kind that you find on Front Street so you are getting a real bargain here on the exact same stuff you would find a lot more expensive elsewhere. The service here was friendly and helpful! One of the best things about this store is they have their own FREE parking lot which is a rare find in the Front Street area of Lahaina. Come here to find some gems at great prices!

Now in 2018 it's still a good place to go but not as much fun as 2010. Haha obviously. I bought a couple baby kids clothes from here and they were a fair deal. My family bought the most from this store. Some items are a little cheaper at the grocery stores so be aware if you're on a tight budget. Other than that, Im a fan of buying from local small businesses so I like this store. Also side note: Dont buy those hawaiian butters in jars. Especially with gelatin in it....it didnt taste good and it had the texture of fat (not butter) which was super gross.

They had a promo sign stating "Buy four at $7 each and the fifth one is free-$38.00" so for $$39.60, we got 5 types. They taste nothing like what we sampled. Every single one is awful. The coconut taste like mint, the Maui mud pie is stale, the chocolate taste like perfume...ugh!!! There is a number on the bottom...is this the expiration date? Was is last year? Is it when it was made? Buyer beware! We opened it to slice a sample of each for dessert with a group. Everyone agrees something is "off" with this award winning fudge. Feeling very disappointed and irritated that I'm out $39.60. I should've just put two $20s into the trash, cuz that's where this is going.

I first saw Hawaii Fudge Company at Costco when they had a table set-up and were giving out…read moresamples. The second time I saw them was at the Made In Maui County Festival. Both times, I really really liked their turtle fudge. Unfortunately, they were only selling it in boxed sets and not individually. I just wanted that one flavor! The third time I saw them was when my husband & I were randomly strolling through Front Street in Lahaina. I thought to myself, "That packaging looks really familiar... Oooo, they have sweets. Let's go in!" Sure enough, it was the same company with the turtle fudge AND they were selling them individually. The girl at the counter was really friendly and informative, telling us how the fudge is all made on Maui, how they used to make everything in this tiny Lahaina shop, but now have 2 locations (another one in the Kihei Triangle). In the Kihei location, they also hold their fudge making class, which I've heard about and have been wanting to try. I had no idea it was the same company. It was all coming together! The same girl proudly told us she had samples of every single flavor and happily obliged when we asked for specific flavors. As much as I loved the turtle flavor, I ended up randomly getting the Maui mud pie. Go figure! I "just knew" I would like that flavor and I do! She also gave us a sample of the toffee and I picked up a box as a gift for someone. Both are delicious ~ Actually, all their flavors are good! In addition to fudge & toffee, they also sell taffy and coconut candy. Everything in their little shop is $8.50. $8.50 for one little block of fudge, you say?! YEP. I'll pay for a good product that I want & will enjoy ++ you're supporting local. I've paid less for other fudge on island and most of it goes to waste :( This stuff is legit! They do offer a small kamaaina discount and I was given a rewards card to use for return visits. I definitely recommend them, especially if you are looking for Maui Made goodies to give as a gift or to just enjoy for yourself!

The chocolate flight where you choose 9 different chocolates was self guided so not sure what that says about it being a tour. We booked the Maui Kuʻia Estate Chocolate farm tour and tasting as a family activity; me, my wife,…read moreand our two boys and I honestly enjoyed this WAY more than I expected to. It starts at their building in Lahaina, which has a little café/coffee shop, plenty of chocolate for sale, and a rooftop experience that looked interesting but we didn't get to try. By the time we finished the tour, the kids had reached the "we have successfully experienced enough things today" portion of the vacation. Fair enough. From there, you take a fun little ride out to the cacao farm, and that's where this became much more than "let's go eat some chocolate." Our guide, Andrew (I'm about 95% sure I'm remembering his name correctly!), was fantastic. He seemed genuinely interested in cacao, the process, the company, and what they are doing there. That makes such a difference. He talked about how cacao is grown and processed, the history behind Kuʻia, and a little about founder Dr. Gunars Valkirs and his rather fascinating path to chocolate. Then, of course, there was the tasting. Lots and lots of little squares of chocolate. This is educational work I was willing to undertake. Unfortunately, I can't tell you which particular varieties were my favorites because apparently I was too busy eating them to take adequate scientific notes. What I can tell you is that there really wasn't one I disliked. What surprised me most was how much flavor there could be in chocolate that wasn't buried under a mountain of sugar. The differences and complexity of the cacao actually came through, and it made me think about chocolate completely differently. The chocolate sample they gave us back at the counter was also fantastic, as was the coffee drink we ordered. My only regret is that we didn't buy more chocolate before leaving. Be warned, though: apparently this tour has side effects. I went in expecting a fun Maui family activity where we'd learn a few things and eat some chocolate. I left wondering about cacao varieties, fermentation, processing, climate, chemistry and several other questions that absolutely nobody in my family asked me to investigate. It's been a few weeks and I'm still going down the rabbit hole. Five stars. Great guide, fascinating process, excellent chocolate, fun for the family, and potentially hazardous to anyone predisposed to acquiring new interests while on vacation.
