Unfortunately, I called the gas company out to come and inspect the heater and they had to red tag it. They said, the repair man should have seen that there was a Crack in the unit and it could have caused carbon monoxide poisoning. The whole heating unit had to be replaced. read more

Home warranty dispatched IT Heating & Cooling. Technician went straight to the roof (where the AC unit is located). When he came back, he just told me that the AC is fixed. (Without turning on the AC to confirm). I turned on the AC, waited for a few minutes. Told him the cold air feels weaker, he said that I should wait because it would take awhile for the AC to cool. Still not convince that it is fix, so I told him that. Yes, it is blowing cool air but it just doesn't feel the same. I work from home even before the pandemic, so I know how cold the AC was when I set it to 78 or 80 degrees. After telling him that I'm not convince he then told me that the air won't get any cooler than this, he is an expert, he also trains new technicians, he got years of experience etc etc.. (I stopped listening to his credentials). He also told me the part that he replaced is no longer working that's why I stopped getting cool air, what the part does etc etc.. My anxiety level just suddenly went up. So I just accepted his words. Worst case scenario, if the issue is not fix, I can call the home warranty again. Soo.. it happened. AC stopped blowing cold air again. This time it happened only after I had the AC running for couple hours. After I turned it off and waited for sometime, the cool air is back when I turned it back on. Also, I had to set the air to 75 degrees to feel comfortable. Called the home warranty and asked for a different AC company. The other AC company came and fixed the issue. tl;dr IT Heating & Cooling didn't fix the issue, I had to call home warranty to dispatch a different AC company. Now it's fixed. read more

We recently purchased a home that came with a home warranty. They assigned the request the ITHAC. Igor called promptly after to inform us that his technician Igor would come out. Igor came out on time, was nice and courteous, and started to inspect the cause of the heater not blowing hot air. During his visit, discovered the problem was the thermometer, replaced the unit, tested it, and then showed us everything was working. I spoke to Edgar at IT who was very helpful, polite and professional and promised to have his AC technician out to our home the same day. Yury was very thorough and friendly. He was at our home on time and after diagnosing the problem and repairing it, he stayed longer to test and retest the system. He then was able to detect another problem, an error that the furnace installer (different company) made last year when installing the furnace. He was quickly able to fix it. Terrible. Stay away. The owner Igor is a point blank liar. They misdiagnosed my a/c system claiming just the compressor needed to be replaced when in fact I ended up needing not only the outside but the inside unit replaced altogether. They fought me tooth and nail claiming it was just the compressor. Well, we wasted one week waiting for the compressor to come in. They installed it and, sure enough, the unit still did not work. I am not exaggerating when I say they missed about 8 other things wrong with unit. They are quick to say the insurance company just doesnt want to change the unit, when it wasnt the insurance company at all-it was them. I spent two weeks going back and forth with them and the insurance company and I swear to god I was in tears out of sheet frustration. Again, stay away. read more

I was impressed enough with this company to write my first review on yelp. These guys are great. I called because my heater was no longer working. After trying to fix it myself, I figured it would be best to let the professionals fix it. I got my appointment within the week. The receptionist got all my information and was very nice when we spoke. The technician can on the time I was promised and found the issue right away. They had to order the replacement parts and installed them in a couple of days later when I was available to let them in. It's been a couple of months and I'm so happy in my heated home. read more

Great company. I purchased a house , summer comes around my a/c died. Fidelity my insurance sent out first company. They came out charged the unit and left. A week later my air failed again. Called back to same company, they came back out and said " unit freezing up because I need maintenance and insurance doesn't cover $ 1000" I requested a second opinion and fidelity sent IT. They came out and found that unit was leaking Freon and that's what caused the freezing up and that's covered by my insurance!!!! They found the leak and fixed my problem. Stay away from this company. They are running a very nice scheme they are in it to screw people and not actually help in any way. Rafael come out to our home to take a look he gave a very large window of when he was coming of course he was late. Almost a month after his first visit, nothing was fixed. Not once did he show up during the time window I was given, he was always at least 1.5 to 3 hours later than the latest time I was told. In the month he had to come out 6 (yes, 6) times and never did repair anything . He seriously has no clue what he was doing.  Each time Rafael came out, he came just past the 4 hour window.  And it seemed like he was never prepared for whatever he needed to do.  We would wait for 4 hours, and he would show up and do something for less than 5 minutes and would say: "I need to come back to....."  Why the hell can't you bring everything you could need to complete a task? He was here on A Sunday late working till 11:30 PM! And still nothing was fixed! Seriously had to tell him to leave as its way late and the neighbors are concerned with him working on the roof at 11:30PM He left trash everywhere in the area he was working even his own lunch trash. He was also rude and defensive when we would ask when he was thinking the job would be done. Wow. Where do I start? I moved in to a new place and before I moved in I was told by the inspector that everything was working and installed properly. Once I made the purchase it started to heat up and I decided to turn on the A/C. The air was hot and never cooled down. I used my insurance and Igor come to the rescue.
