The unit was perfect in that it gave us a few days to clear and store the garage "stuff", plus storage time for the week or so after the garage floor project (during which we were supposed to keep the garage floor clean/empty). Less reviews than PODS but better price and exceptional unit quality. Customer service and communication was likewise flawless. Glad I went with UNITS. When I was out of state, I called needing his assistance, and he was more than willing to help me out. I was grateful because I was 3000 miles away, and would not be able to do anything from where I was at. They were informative about the locks. I could use any one I wanted, but they recommended their locks because they are more difficult to break into. When I looked at the difference between the one I had brought with me, and their preferred lock, I ended up buying their lock! Also - bring a tarp, or purchase one there. They do recommend it for the storage areas that are not heated, and suggest that you don't put things up against the wall if you don't need to. Overall - helpful suggestions, and good service. Would certainly rent space here again.

Public Storage recently took over this business. I was pretty happy with previous management, but…read moremy experience with the new management is less favorable. The price for my unit is higher, and there are never any carts available when I need them. They have cameras everywhere...this is a good thing. I would be much happier if the person at the desk could monitor and redistribute the carts so that there is at least one at every entrance. Some of the carts are in better shape than others. It would be nice if the ones that are harder to use could be repaired. Having more carts would cut down on people having to hike all over the facilities to find an available one.

If you can avoid having to deal with the other employees, you should be able to have a less stressful experience. They are very dismissive, untrained, and tend to give you attitude whenever you need help. I've recently have dealt with an infestation of moths in the unit as well. Upon entry of the building there were a variety of dead bugs in the hallways around certain unit doors. Like I've said, the place has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Mike has left. Never have I had an issue with this location until now.

Access & Security: 24/7 access is available with enrollment but the standard hours were more than…read moresufficient for us. All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about this company and their team! First, I randomly saw their truck…read moreoutside of my apartment complex and called them. It was not a search engine that gave me their information. I called to get a quote and scheduled a virtual walk-through with Donny, who was GREAT. He asked questions like "does that bed need to be taken apart?" or "do we need to bring TV boxes to move the TV's?". He answered my many questions and I had the quote back very quickly (I want to say 48 hours) and was able to book my move immediately. Second, the team of movers on the moving day were FANTASTIC. There were four movers and they were all pleasant with me and each other, joking and laughing but never dilly-dallying. They stayed on point and on target the entire time. My apartment was situated clear across the complex to the loading dock but there was never any complaining about that part, even though I was apologizing profusely. They were done loading my apartment in 2.5 hours, ate lunch, and unloaded me into my new home by 3pm. This included putting my bed back together and my boy's bunk bed. Truly, this was so worth every penny I spent and their estimate actually came in higher than what I ended up paying. I was able to get situated in my new home very quickly because the boxes were put in the rooms that were labeled and they put everything where I had asked them to. Absolutely recommend this company. While I hope I don't have to move anytime soon, because, let's be honest, it sucks real bad...I would 100% call them again to move me in the future.

I called for a moving estimate including packing. Talking to the estimator who answered, he did…read morenot sound at interested, but the referral was a referral from a friend as a top notch moving company so I went ahead. On the day of the inventory he was late and impatient, told me he could estimate a large house in 30 minutes, and he knew mine was small. After about 15 minutes of explaining a pair of two-piece desks and four book cases, he said I was hostile and went into a personal attack, eventually hung up with a "f--- you". I called and talked to the receptionist, who said that's not like him. She also told me that they inventory every single item even if it isn't going - so the five pictures on the wall, and all the small items on the shelves. If you don't have a pristine house and you're in the middle of packing this is most definitely not the moving company for you.

No one is ever at the facility. I live right down the street and drive by it multiple times a day. But when I finally get a call back, this was the first voicemail they received and was told someone they were there 4 days a week. Just blatantly lied to.
