The manager,Trish went above and beyond to make my experience with uhaul acceptable…read more It all started when I rented a 5x8 trailer from uhaul; uhaul sent me An email confirming my reservation and to pick it up at storage King; when i picked it up, uhaul upgraded Me to a bigger trailer for the same price without asking me and without checking if my truck is capable of towing it, which it couldn't. Then uhaul sent me to another storage facility, which when I arrived, it was closed. I tried to call uhaul 4x and they keep on transferring me and putting me on hold. So I went back to storage King, rented a truck, instead of a trailer. Trish the manager was helping me to call uhaul a few times and was very apologetic about the situation. The next day, she Even called me to follow up and tell me that uhaul refunded me 50$ for the ordeal. Now that's what you call customer service! Thank you very much.

It seems there is always something causing delays at these shipper/ receiver facilities. If it is not equipment problems, it is staffing issues. There are always some sort of excuses these days. Why can't people adopt a "get it done" attitude by any means necessary? When I arrive at the scheduled appointment time, I expect these facilities to get the job done without any excuses.

I had planned to recycle them but the driver said he wanted them. Had I known it would be an extra $272, I wouldn't have agreed. And to top it all off, they charged me an hour extra ($159). I can't complain about the actual movers, who were fantastic, but the shady business practices are enough to make me want to warn others. I had to pay in full before they'd unload the truck, I did not get an itemized bill until I asked twice via email, and then when I questioned the extra charges, I also had to ask twice. Be wary.
