I decided today to physically go to their location so I fought the traffic on 1604 around 3 PM coming and, obviously, going. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said GONE TO THE BANK, BE BACK SOON. I'm not sure what their definition of "soon" is but after nearly 30 minutes of waiting, I left. This is no way to run a business. You ANSWER your phone. You RETURN messages. You DO NOT do back runs during business hours unless you have a second person to cover the office! I know this is basically a turn-key business but for Pete sake, you are a BUSINESS!!! Act like one!!!

After growing increasingly frustrated with my current storage company's ridiculous fees and…read moreinconsistent pricing, I started researching other options and I'm really glad Stor Self Storage came up on my radar. What immediately stood out was how clear and transparent their pricing is. Their current promotion (first 5 months half off) was too good to ignore, and on top of that, their insurance rate is about $5 cheaper than what I'm paying now. Those little things add up. I submitted an interest form, and the property manager called me first thing the next day, which I really appreciated. We went over pricing, lot sizes, and availability, and I was assured they had my preferred unit size available (I'm planning to go up in size at this location). The best part of the conversation? Even though I'm not quite ready to move yet (likely within the next month or so) I was told they would still honor the promotional pricing whenever I'm ready to move in. That flexibility and honesty went a long way. So far, the experience has been very positive and professional. I'll be sure to follow up with another review once we've moved in and everything has settled, but this was a great first impression.

On moving day, I tried calling them repeatedly for over 45 minutes. Every call went straight to voicemail. When someone (claiming to be the owner) finally picked up, he sounded completely confused and asked where the movers were, as if I had any idea. He said he'd call me right back to sort it out. That was the last contact I ever had from them. No callback, no explanation, no movers, just total silence. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. You can't run a service business, confirm a job, then fail to show up or even communicate on the day it's supposed to happen. It's not complicated. It's literally the bare minimum of showing up for a labor job, and they couldn't manage that. Thankfully, Veterans Movers saved the situation at the last minute. I reached out in a bind, explained what happened, and they responded quickly and professionally. They arrived on time, handled the move efficiently, took good care of my belongings, and charged fairly without any surprises. They turned a potential disaster into a smooth, stress-free experience. If you need movers you can actually count on, go with Veterans Movers. They deliver what they promise. To the company that left me hanging: This kind of behavior damages trust and ruins people's days. Do better, or don't take bookings at all. 0/5 stars if I could give it. Steer clear.
