Im just glad they were able to come out so fast, find the issue and fix the issue before our business hours so that we could operate our restaurant. The electrician arrived and diagnosed the issue almost immediately: a switch/breaker in the main panel had simply been left off. He flipped it back on, tested the outlet, and confirmed it was working -- the entire fix took just a few minutes. Despite the simplicity of the issue, I was charged the full $285 minimum. I understand service calls have overhead, but I feel strongly that a charge this significant should be communicated clearly at the time of scheduling, not after the technician has already been to my home and the work is done. Had I known about the $285 minimum in advance, I would have asked more questions or looked elsewhere. I'm not disputing the technician's professionalism.
