I came in to repair a laptop screen. They quoted me $600 and asked for a $100 deposit two weeks later, I called them to ask the status and they told me it came in. I went in, and it clearly wasn't the same computer as the part they ordered was bigger than my laptop. they said they'd order it again. After two weeks of waiting, I called again and they had the same part. They said they try again. This time I waited for three weeks to see if they would take the time to call me. I went in on my own, and was told when I asked if they bothered to order it, I was told to "stop yelling!" I suspect that they would've never called me back to keep my $100. I took my money, went home, and did some research and discovered a different company close to my home for only $450. Somehow it only took them 5 days to get the part delivered. Can't say enough good things about I squad. They first came on our radar when we were trying to get one of my younger son's iPads fixed. It was out of AppleCare and they were going to charge us a lot of money to fix it. So my wife and I decided to reach out to some other vendors to see if they can fix it like third-party vendors. They were very reasonable in their pricing and we went with them with no issues. We have since brought a few devices down to be fixed Most recently my son cracked the screen on his iPad. It wasn't his fault he was walking to the car had the iPad in his hand and he tripped and fell and cracked the screen. I called them this morning and they quoted me $120 which is extremely reasonable considering I already contacted Apple and they wanted twice the amount. My wife normally does the stuff but since I had the day off I offered to do it. I called them this morning and asked if I could bring it down at one in the afternoon. They said no appointment necessary that I could show up anytime. They also said that they could finish it same day. He even told me he would finish it within one hour. So I said OK I dropped it off I paid $120 I went across the street to Buffalo wild wings and had lunch and just at the time I'm leaving I got a message stating that the iPad was finished. I went back on over and picked it up and I am extremely happy. I can't think I'm enough for the amount of money they charged me plus the fact that they got the job done extremely fast. Took my labtop in for repair and didn't hear back for two weeks after they said they would call in a couple of days with a diagnosis. They said the hard drive was bad, so I gave the go-ahead to replace/repair the issue. Once I got the labtop back, it was still doing the same thing (blue screen), so I took it back. They said they would jump on it immediately, but after 3 days, they still had not worked on it. They gave the labtop back to me, still broken, and said they didn't want to work on it. This place is garbage, and the employees do not stand by what they say. In the end, I took it somewhere else, and I had to pay for another hard drive install, which tells me they may not have even put a new hard drive in my unit. I would not recommend this place. I took my Galaxy S20 in today for a new screen protector. Allen installed a new one for me while I waited and really took the time to make sure it was done correctly. I appreciated the attention to detail and his kindness. My phone has the fingerprint sensor in the middle of the screen and the tempered glass protector that he used didn't have that obnoxious circle in the middle. My fingerprint still reads and the screen protector looks flawless. You can tell that Allen takes pride in his work and as a company that they really value their customers. I have had two battery replacements done here, the first an iPhone 6 and most recently, an iPad Pro 10.5. With the iPad Pro 10.5, during the battery replacement, which on this device is a complex, two-hour job, there was a apparently an issue with one of the lower speaker connectors during re-assembly. When I pointed out the issue, Allen immediately took total responsibility for the problem. He arranged both to obtain replacement speakers if they were necessary, and to make arrangements to have someone deal with the micro-soldering required to bypass the connector and reconnect the speaker if it was just the connector, which in the end was what was required. The iPad speakers now work perfectly after the connector re-solder, and the replacement battery is working exactly as hoped. I really appreciate the effort and honesty Allen showed in all our communications! Sometimes things don't always go perfectly, but it's how you handle it when that happens that makes all the difference. I now have a device that should last several more years with a new battery, and I'm very happy. I'd gladly have them work on my other devices when they need replacement batteries. read more
