    My antique school house clock.

I highly recommend Time & Treasures for clock repairs. I have an old school house clock that I've had about 50 years. The pendulum stopped swinging. I thought it had been wound too tight but both repair shops I got quotes from said not possible. The first guy I went to, in Grossmont Center, said something was broken and said it would be +$600 to fix it. He required payment up front and said it would be 6 weeks. Luckily I went to Time & Treasures next and he said it probably just needs an ultrasonic cleaning and it would be $180. He'd call me if it turned out to be some additional work and cost. He said he'd have it next week and he had it early in the week. It's working great! Nice friendly shop owner, reasonable cost, fast turn around.

Extremely knowledgeable and decently priced. I'll continue to take my clocks here when they need repair.

Even then he was arrogantly claiming he was the only skilled craftsman who could do this work. Months later I came in for a Phillip Stein watch band. He never offered to order the band made for this brand watch, but then jimmy rigged a large men's regular band to my watch that didn't line up where the band attached. The band was clearly too large for my wrist and I was told to break the band in. $80. The receipt said no refunds. Store credit within 10 days. I went back day 5. Upon showing him the ill fitting band, he became enraged, yelling and telling me to break the band in. I told him the band was too big and I didn't want the band. He then removed the band and pushed it towards me. I pushed it back. He then threw my $600 watch at me on the floor. He told me to leave if I didn't want to be tazzed. I was shocked at both his yelling and violence. As I was leaving he hit me with the door as he slammed it. I called the police. I believe elieve this guy is dangerous. While there are good reviews the bad ones are true. This man stands out with consistency in horrible behavior.

You guaranteed me ALL OF MY JEWELRY. You kept my two row diamond ring and you never returned it to me. You threatened me to not go into your store nor call you, though I never made threats towards you nor anyone. I realize why you ment that because you kept one of my precious rings that was the first ring I ever bought myself from Zales. I need you to return my ring. You lied to me. You are the one that AGREED to give me the time to take out all my jewelry but I'm missing and have been missing my ring. I felt bullied on how you treated me knowing I supported your business even when you were in Point Loma. You put on a good face of honesty but I want my ring back. You weren't supposed to keep anything. I really want you to take care of this matter. I don't want to have to sue you for being dishonest to me. I stayed away like you told me to but my ring still stayed on my mind. The agreement was to pay you $3,800. To get everything and you did not mail me my one ring full of diamonds. Like I said it has two rows of diamonds. You used intimidation towards me and treated me like crap towards the end. You are not a good business owner and I want my ring back. You need to contact me as I know you're gone for the holidays! I hope God forgives you for stealing/keeping my diamond ring. I will be adding more pictures of my diamond ring. My lawyer will be contacting you. Safe travels;))

The mall is set up where there are small stations throughout (like a mall) where each one sells their unique goods. It's also in a super central La Mesa location, close to so many shops and places to eat, which made it an easy and enjoyable stop. Upon arriving, I spotted so many beautiful pieces. I was genuinely excited to see several items straight off my wishlist. The amount of booths is amazing, with so many unique, well-curated finds. I can certainly say, " I blacked out". However, compared to other antique malls, this one is definitely on the more expensive side, which is really the only downside. However, many of the pieces felt special and thoughtfully sourced, and some prices were still very competitive for the quality. There were so many booths with incredible items that I can't stop thinking about. I'm already looking forward to coming back on payday because this is absolutely a place worth revisiting.
