But here at iSlice, not only did they deliver a scrumptious New York Pizza to my door, they even spelled my name right! Hahaha First time we ordered, it was delivery. The pizza was delivered hot and fresh, no issues. Perfectly made - the edge of the crust was thick, the rest of the pie crust was thin, yet soft. It had the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings and I could actually fold it in half to eat. Sooooooo great! My kid liked it so much he got off his game, cracked open his door and said, "Wow! That's some really good pizza!" HA! If ordering a pie, FYI pie's are premade. Employee told me it would take 5 mins to reheat which was fine. I then ordered an 18" pie for our family dinner. I was with my 4 year old son, as anybody who has kids knows that this is the stage where they love to be your little "helper". I received the pie opened it up and it looked alright. Being from Brooklyn NY, I do have high standards for pizza. I sat the box down to get some condiments and little did I know, that 1 second I turned my back, my son wanted to help carry it and dropped the pizza! All of it on the ground. I told the employee what happened and he came around the counter to check, he looks at me, shrugs his shoulder and said "it's your fault" with a smirk. I asked him if there was anything he could do for me, he said "I can give you 30% off" for the next pie. I stepped out to tell my wife who was waiting in the car what happened and if she would be ok spending for another pie. With my son crying disappointed in himself, I put him in the car seat and she goes inside. As my wife is walking inside she notices the workers with the pizza box behind the counter, placing the Pizza that fell on the floor back on the racks! I did not know this place has a history of violations already and experiencing the uncleanliness first hand makes it safe to say we will never come back here. Buyer beware. If islice wants to refute this, please post a video of the workers throwing away the pizza that was on the GROUND and I will gladly take this down. read more

When I arrived, I told the employee about it and he understood completely. I ordered a Long Island Slice and a Veggie slice. They were done and out within five minutes like they had expected. Decent pizza but nothing extraordinary. I stopped here while hanging out in Todos Santos Plaza one day to check it out. They had a promotional board out front advertising their "two cheese slice and free can of soda" daily special for $6.50. Of course, that drew me inside. I'm always down for a great deal, especially when it comes to pizza! It's a tiny spot but I really like how it's designed. They have a small patio in front and a counter along with 3 small tables inside. Their walls are covered in really neat New York license plates. The two guys that were working were really nice and helpful in answering my questions. You can order pizza by the slice as well as whole pies, and their slices are a decent size for the price. It's actually cheap compared to many other pizza by the slice spots in the area. They also offer calzones and salads. They don't have a huge variety of pizza flavors but menu is effective. I decided to take advantage of the pizza special and ordered one cheese slice and one "Long Island" slice which is basically a Hawaiian slice with bacon added. It didn't take too long until the slices were ready. The cheese slice was actually pretty good. It wasn't the cheesiest slice that I've ever had, but it wasn't overly oily and the cheese had a nice flavor to it. The Long Island slice was a disappointment though. As much as I love meat, there was just waaaay too much ham on this slice. So much so, that I couldn't really taste anything else. It looked like the toppings had just been thrown on top of an already cooked cheese slice and reheated in an oven. Their slices are also very thin and both of my pieces arrived a little burnt on the bottom. This made the crust and the top of the pizza hard and a bit too crispy. The quality of the pizza was just okay. This isn't a place that I'd come to expecting gourmet pizza or the top of the line ingredients. However, for something cheap and quick, it might do. It definitely wasn't the best pizza that I've had in the world, but it wasn't the worst. Average at best... well at least the cheese slice was. I wasn't a fan of their Hawaiian variation slice at all. All in all, the pizza was decent but nothing that I'd go out of my way for. A bite of small town love but big city taste. I stumbled upon iSlice not knowing what I was in for. What pulled me in was the sign advertising a slice and a soda for less than $10. I had to pull my phone out to check my GPS location and make sure I didnt accidentally drive to New York or something. This is the east bay, I've been here for 20 years and never seen a place where I can grab a quick slice and a soda except for costco. I ordered a slice combo with a can a soda. Less than $10. This is saying something because its 2023 and this is the Bay Area of California. The slice came out in 5 minutes, hot out of the oven. In the first bite i immediately notice the crust was fresh and crunchy combining with the chewyness of the middle, sauce, cheese, the oh em gee! The toppings tasted fresh and on point. The combo came with pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, onion, and olives. The ingredients all worked together like a dance party in my mouth. We came here for a quick dinner and were very happy with the experience. I ordered the 2 slices of cheese and my husband got the two slices of sausage. We each got a free soda with the 2 slices. Great deal. The pizza is so tasty. Thin crust, lots of flavor and the bread is soft and warm. The atmosphere is a small little shop with a few tables. Not a lot of space or room, so if it's busy then you might not get a spot in there. I think there are seats outside but it was really cold so we wouldn't have sat there the night we went. It's in downtown Concord and parking is a little tight as well. Right across the street from a park and also next door to Baskin Robbins so you could definitely make a nice little day out of visiting this area! I liked that we could just get a slice and not a whole pizza. It was just ok. The pepperoni slice was very greasy. The all meat slice was basically a pepperoni pizza that was already made and then they threw the rest of the toppings on and reheated it. The theme is is obvious really...."New York, New Jersey" and to be honest, it makes that place feel kinda common. But, this establishment is it's own place and to be fair, if they're going to make "NY Style" pizza which I may add is the best style of pizza....how good do they do it? Well here we go.. The New York $4.75 - The "NY" slice is topped with Pepperoni, Sausage, and Mushroom. Just like a slice of "NY" style pizza, it's thin crusted and of course adorned with mozarella cheese. I thought the slice was decent, it was made fresh when I ordered it, so it was hot and had a nice cheese pull. In terms of flavors, it was kinda bland. Thank goodness for chilli peppers and parmisan in the shakers. Like I said, it was mind blowing, but decent. The Brooklyn $4.75 - The "Brooklyn" slice is topped with meatball, bacon and onion. I thought the combo was pretty unusual, so that is what made me order it. In terms of taste, just like the last slice I had. It was decent, not the best slice i've ever had, but not the worst either. I'm not a veggie on pizza guy with the exception of mushroom. They layed the onion on a little more thicker than I would have liked honestly, and the onion was a bit too fresh for my taste on a pizza, perhaps it it had went under the oven a little to break down a little it would of complimented the pizza more. Not bad, decent pizza slice. Overall: I would give "iSlice" a 2.5 out of 5 stars if I could, but the round up to 3 is worthwhile. The staff here was friendly and I got my slices and "Guava Jarritos" pretty quickly and I was able to sit down and eat before I went on my merry way. In terms of "NY Style" pizza, there are better joints out there. But in terms of something local and for this side of the East Bay, this is a decent place to stop by and get your fix. I do think I'll visit again but not soon. They also make "Calzones" and I wouldn't mind trying one of those out. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're in the area. It's disgusting. There's nothing New York or authentic about it. The pineapple taste, dirty, and rancid. The mushrooms aren't even cooked onto the pizza. I happened to see when ISlice opened during some errands at the outdoor mall that they are located in. As an East Coast native this is the type of pizza that I am accustomed to, where you can fold the slice in half and savor the taste. My favorite so far is the New York pizza(pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage) but I have no doubt that I'll be trying some of their other variations soon. We were driving around looking for a place to grab a late night meal and decided to give this place a try without noticing it was about to close. The owner was extremely sweet and accommodating. My nephew and I were taking a walk around Todos Santos Park and saw this little slice of heaven lol. We decided to walk right in and see what they had to offer. I quickly glanced over some of the yelp reviews to get a feel for what's in store for us. We were immediately greeted and directed to where we need to order. They had the sweetest little helper at the register who took our order. We got 2 cheese slices to go, just to try this spot out. Kind of like getting our feet wet first, you know? It took less then 5 minutes to get our to-go slices, were out the door and headed home. We ate our pizza when we got home and enjoyed the slices. There were a couple problems with our pizza, dry and sauce-less. The taste and flavor were there it just wasn't pleasing to eat because of the dryness. Maybe it was sitting out for to long today and dried out? I don't really know. But I definitely can see the potential of this New York style pizza.
