Tony runs a tinting company from his home outside of Oak Harbor. His professionalism and ability to make the customer feel appreciated is second to none. His priority was to make sure I understood all of my options for window tinting, explaining everything from the UV ray blockage to the comparison between factory tint and aftermarket tint. If you are looking in to having anything tinted I wouldn't suggest anyone else. It's not often you get someone that is an expert at what he does and charges extremely fair prices. Beware ! He charges $$$ with adequate results. Big cost for imperfections left in material including air bubbles and uneven surfaces. Look somewhere else for tinting. read more

I was going to get my windows tinted by this business. Tony Cuyaia of Island Tinting quoted me a price and when I called to set up an appointment the price went up just because I wanted darker tint in the back. He wouldn't guarntee the results in the back either. He said I could bring it back and he would charge me to fix it with vinyl if it didn't turn out good. So much for a lifetime guarntee? He seems to be able to set his own high prices because of lack of competition in he Oak Harbor area. Instead of paying $280 for a tint job. I went to Pro Tint in Bellingham and paid $170. He also lives down a long gravel driveway. I really didn't like driving my car down this driveway with the rocks and dust. Wanted me to keep my car there all day with him. No Thanks. read more

We had my brand new back window tinted a few years ago. It looked nice and clear at first but after a couple years we noticed that it looked blurry, which is not great when looking in the rear-view mirror in traffic. None of the tint that was placed on the other windows over a decade ago, by another company, has blurred. My car is garaged at night so not exposed to a lot of weather. read more

Tony has done three cars for me, and they were all top notch. He hold himself to the highest quality standards as far as material quality and technique. I still have my 2005 Dodge Magnum that he tinted for me in 2008, and the windows look just as good as they did when he handed me the keys back that day. No fading, bubbling, or turning purple. I would recommend him to anyone on Whidbey Island or the surrounding area. It's worth the trip. He was unhappy with the job that he did on the Fiesta and told me he couldn't guarantee the quality on such an old car, but it was literally two minute bubbles, and they went away in a couple of weeks.
