It took some time, but I finally got Dusty out to wash and wax my truck (3/13/19). He did a nice job for the most part, but left the running boards unpolished and grimy. I asked him about this, he said they were pitted and wouldn't polish out. However, while there was some minor pitting, most of the grime was easy to remove with my thumbnail. I then asked him to return and make it right (3/14/19). He said he could come out within the next day or two. I contacted him again on 3/15, 3/18 and 4/1 asking him to make it right. NO RESPONSE. Its a shame the job wasn't done right to begin with, its even more of an issue that he has now ghosted me on resolving it. read more

I had to take a moment to let this sink in after I went and picked my truck up. I was really really bummed. Dusty initially seemed like a decent guy. My first impression it looked clean but then I started to look deeper. I found Grime,dirt extra scratches in areas seen in the pictures I've provided. The saying "If the price/sounds too good to be true then it probably isn't " is a true statement. I feel like he rushed on my vehicle to say the least. What really got me going was that there were 2 noticeable scratches on my windshield and I know for a fact they were not there before and additional scratches on the body. Dusty kept denying of wrong doing. This whole time he was having an Attitude and kept saying "I have 20+ years of experience" when I was pointing out the imperfections. I really had to bite my tongue when I saw the scratches on my windshield. I now have to see the scratches every time I drive my truck until it's time to get a new windshield. He didn't even roll down the windows to clean/prep/ceramic the tops of the windows. After all said and done he basically told me that I didn't have to give him a penny. I still have a bad feeling in my gut that I had to deal with this. I hope you -"Dusty" is reading this. I hope you learn from this experience not to rush on a project when you have a customer paying a lot " $1000 " this should've not happened. I'd rather pay $2500+ to actually get a professional job done! read more

Where to start? First off, Dusty is as laid back and easy to deal with as I have encountered. We had a scheduling issue as a result of my work and he was able to squeeze me in days before I was supposed to be helped. As to his services and quality of work, you won't be disappointed. It's clear why he has his own detailing business, he loves what he does and it shows. He fully detailed my Jeep inside and out. I also elected to have him apply a ceramic coating that has drastically improved my rig. My Jeep can now be rinsed and wiped, and won't have to be waxed for years. It's with a modest amount of hesitation that I write this review. I like Dusty. He'd done good work for us over the past two years. Unfortunately, when I asked him to ceramic coat my new car at the cost of $800, Dusty's attention to detail and great customer service vanished. After getting home from work and looking at my freshly ceramic coated car, I noticed the entire hood was discolored and mismatched. Upon further inspection, I saw this on multiple parts of the car. I immediately took pictures and texted Dusty. He flat out missed major parts of the car with the ceramic process. After telling me that it was time sensitive, he asked to come back the following day. He did, and he fixed the hood. Once I had a chance to look over the car, I found another unfinished spot on the left rear quarter panel. Seriously!? The thing that bothers me is that Dusty never apologized. He made excuses. He also still hasn't come back, refunded or fixed the left quarter panel. Needless to say, we won't be using Dusty's services again. read more

Dusty was extremely responsive and his pricing was reasonable. He pointed out difficult spots that might not be easily removed and I was OK with that. Ultimately I needed this car to look good for pictures to list and sell the vehicle. By no means was I expecting a showroom piece but I expected to have a car that was shiny in the right places. Dusty met this bar and I was satisfied with the results. The carpet and seat shampooing was probably one of the more dramatic differences and I'm sure buyers will appreciate how clean the interior looks. He was the first mobile detail service I've used so I don't have a comparison but I could see using Dusty again should the need arise. read more

Hmmm. Take my comments with a grain of salt, as this was my first detail. My wife gifted me $175 for the Premium Detail for my 11 year old Toyota that had seen its last detail 6 years prior, and had plenty of dirt and plenty of scratches. Pros: +Responsive to email. +Showed up on time. +Friendly. +Interviewed me to find out if there was anything specific I might want addressed. +Did a nice job on the interior of my car. +Verbally offered to fix any issues that I might find with the detail. Cons: +Didn't completely clean a few spots, notably multiple tar spots behind the front wheel wells, on the edge of the gas flap (and behind the flap), around the rear windows, and the rear license area. It was 97% cleaner to be sure, but I was expecting 99.9% cleaner. Maybe that is unreasonable, not sure. +Apparently he wasn't able to address a major black mark on one of my fenders. That is understandable, but he didn't call me to discuss it (he had my cell #) or text or leave a note or a receipt or anything. I was gone when he finished and he didn't leave paperwork of any kind - odd. I had to ask a couple of days later via email what happened with the mark. +When I let him know of the other missed areas the offer to fix any issues was absent from his reply, which ended with "Thank you for bringing all of this to my attention." Overall, I'm not sure what is fair to expect. Was my car so old/dirty/scratched that it could not be fully cleaned in 6 hours? I suppose that's possible. I guess I'd summarize that I'd give Dusty 4 stars for the cleaning work but have to knock a star off for lack of follow-through and paperwork after the detail was complete. read more

This guy! I have a 2017 VW that I cart my dog to and from work. I also work in an industry where very often I am throwing kegs or whole kitchen supplies into the back of the thing. This was one of my best Groupon's ever. Dusty was hard to reach via his website, but very responsive to a phone message, and easy to schedule with. He is booked up well in advance, so scheduling early is a must. He texted the AM of the day he was to detail my car, checking to see if he could arrive early, which was fine. He worked on my car right in our driveway, and he did a wonderful job, getting rid of almost every visible scratch. I love the quality of his work and that he will come to the home. So today I took a look at my rims after my "detail" and noticed a bunch of black smudges on the inboard of my rims all the way around. I thought, wow, rust? Then I licked my finger and rubbed it a bit and discovered, No... just road scum. I was "detailed" a week ago and have not been driving it. S, I hate to write this. A nice kid and showed up at my door exactly when he said he would and then.... I told him I was selling my truck and wanted it to look like a new truck.(Clean engine, upholstery, wheels, tires etc.) I agreed to a complete detail for $300.00 In all honesty, he was here about 4 hours total. He basically washed the car, wiped down the interior with simple green and did a "general/basic" cleaning. He used some kind of cheap wax on wax off "polish" and I will say it looked better but I was kind of shocked. I popped the hood and asked him when he was going to clean the engine, and he said he doesn't do that??? What??? Yes, that is extra for the engine. I thought that was part of the detail...??? Ok... weird... how much? Another $50 bucks. Ok well do the engine. :( He then got out his home grade steam tool and "steamed" the top of the engine compartment. About a half hour. All in all, it was a good car wash but I think maybe I will opt for spending a little bit more and get a professional detailing next time. read more

Dusty came to my home to detail the inside of my 2014 Hyundai Accent. I warned him before he got here that it had four years full of dog hair in it that needed to be cleaned up. I have a snow white boxer. The hair was so thick and so embedded in my fabric seats and floor boards that there was absolutely no way I could clean it up. Yes embarrassing to say that. We requested service, via Dusty's website, and he responded even though it was Sunday evening and fit us in the next day. We weren't sure which service level we needed and asked for a basic cleaning first and since he did such an amazing job, we did not ask for the premier additions. The van was filthy from hauling stuff to the dump, multiple trips with snow equipment and chains, and food stains in the carpet. It is gorgeous now.
