We yelped this restaurant and were very pleased with the result. Understand that the Yelp directions guide you to the wrong place. This restaurant is on the second floor of a shopping plaza. It's mainly an outdoor restaurant with a bar directly in the middle as you walk up the stairs see picture. This seems to be a local's spot. My kids were happy there was pizza on the menu. My wife ordered the ITP DELUXE, my kids ordered the CLASSIC CHEESE PIZZA with pepperoni and I have the TUNA POKE. Everything was on point and delicious. Brian our waiter was attentive and got our orders in quickly. They share bathroom's which were disgusting, usually if you follow my reviews you know I take away a star for bad bathrooms. It stays busy here. Great atmosphere for dine in. We called in our order for pick up. We both felt our pizzas tasted better now. :-) I stayed with the Chicken Alfredo and my sister went with the Buffalo Chicken. A 12" is shareable so we each have half for lunch or dinner tomorrow. ITP is hidden on the second floor of a shopping complex in Red Hook and we're glad to have found it! It's all outside in a covered patio with a bar, high top tables, and picnic tables. They do not take reservations, but we lucked out and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. They have typical American bar foods - apps, burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. The ITP Deluxe Pizza was delicious - sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers! Perfectly crispy crust with gooey cheese. The 16'' was more than enough for 2 people. Note they charge $0.50 for a take home container; ask for the aluminum foil instead if you want to avoid that small charge. read more

This is a great thin crust style pizza place. It's basically a bar located on the Red Hook marina. It's located on the backside second floor of a strip mall type building. Doesn't sound glamorous but gets you away from the noise of the road and the second floor elevation gives you great views of the marina. As for the pizza... very generous with toppings. And check out my photo for the size pieces of green pepper they use. You'll definitely taste the toppings. The crust is thin with a small hand rolled edge. Very crispy and my wife actually ate all of hers which isn't usually the case. Check 'em out of you want pizza. read more

I was introduced to ITP by some friends. It is a great place to sit, enjoy the cool breeze, and get some drinks or a snack. Overall, I would say the food is average, with one standout. I took a friend here; the views cannot be beaten. If you get a table on the water, you have an excellent idea of other islands, the water, and the marina. It is something special. My friend and I got the overcooked pretzel bites, and the sauces weren't enough--the pretzels were quite gross. We only ate them because we were both starving. They do give you a decent amount. They are salted, but the salt kind of falls off. We got a Hawaiian pizza and a calzone. The Hawaiian pizza was decent. It did not travel well. I wouldn't get a box home again because the next day, the pizza wasn't good. But there, when it was hot, the pizza was solid. They are not shy about the toppings. There wasn't anything standout about the pizza. It was perfectly average and pleasant. We did get a calzone with the cheeses it comes with and chicken and pepperoni. This was the real star. I have come back several times and just gotten a calzone. The calzone was quite large and adequate for two people. We did have to search for the chicken, which was hiding. There were tons of pepperoni. It was pipping hot and came with a generous serving of marinara sauce to dip. The cheese mixture that it comes with is SO good. It was so satisfying and tasty. There was a bit of butter and salt on the crust, which brought out all the flavors. If you get food here, get the calzone. Every time I have come, I have been able to find parking. It can get crowded. There is a parking garage on the bottom floor and street parking. You might have to drive around a bit before something opens up. The employees are always so nice and welcoming. The drinks are good. The carbonation has been less than satisfactory each time I've come. I wouldn't recommend getting any bubbly drinks. read more

Whenever I am here for work I always check this place out. I love the outdoor seating. Which is all they have. Good view of the boats and water. Really fun crowd. Mostly beach goers. Super chill people. The service is quicker than the avg restaurant in the area. They are more prompt and not in island time. Coming from Washington DC it's tough to adjust to. Simple menu. Decent beer selection. They play great music! There is sometimes a cross breeze. But I would recommend bug spray. I am not a huge fan of bug bites. But who is? The pies are thin-crust NY style with a zesty sauce and toppings that are obviously premium and very tasty. A regular pie is 16 inches, which was enough to satisfy three of us, and still leave 2 pieces to take home. Seriously solid pizza - I was pleasantly surprised! Typically when you venture to places not known for pizza (like a Caribbean Island) you never know what you might get...but this was seriously a solid pie. We opted for a traditional pepperoni pizza due to the fear-of-potentially-bad-pizza mentioned above but I would've considered venturing into their more creative options had I know this ahead. My only knock was that the chicken wings were just average...not horrible but not great either.
