Was in St. Thomas just last week. Went into town twice that week. The first time, my whole family ate there. The second time it was just my son and I. We had the pleasure to have Jen and Kat to take our order. So, the service was great, food was fantastic. And the location. Tucked away in a quite area, and still close to it all. Highly recommend for good food and atmosphere!

A hidden gem in the Virgin Islands. We ordered the classic pizza and Scampi pasta and both were full of flavor. The pizza was perfectly balanced between crispy and soft. The marinara was amazing! The scampi was perfectly salty and had the right amount of seafood. Service was great and the ambience was cozy and comfy. Also, the prices for the food they serve is unbeatable. Probably the most affordable option on the island for food that is actually great. Will be back if I find myself on the island again.

My family were famished after a day or sightseeing, being on the beach and shopping in Saint Thomas. We needed some food before we finished our shopping and got on the tour bus back to our cruise ship. We stumbled upon Cafe Amici while shopping in the A.H RIISE Mall, and decided to eat here. We did it for two reasons: 1) it was right there and we did not want to go looking for another place. 2) We liked the ambience, it was outdoor, there was a nice breeze going, we liked the little fountain and everything. Getting a table took no time at all, there weren't that many customers. A few single patrons and perhaps two other families. Our waitress quickly took our orders. This was the quickest part of our experience. The service isn't just slow, its snails pace. We started with an appetizer of their meatballs, per the menu the meatballs come in a dish with polenta, marinara and shaved parmesan. I did not taste any polenta, the dish, although pretty good felt like it was more cheese than anything else. Did not exactly go with what is on the menu. We also got a Ama La Carne Pizza, which had pepperoni, sausage, applewood bacon, prosciutto and mozzarella. This pizza was delicious and certainly took care of any hunger we had. Again it took a while for us to get our food. Then the long wait for the bill. This took forever. We had to ask for the bill several times and in the end had to approach the bar and insist after waiting 20 minutes. We wanted to finish our shopping before we had to go to the tour bus! The restaurant was not even busy, no reason for that to happen. Food was good, service needs work.

The Betty White is amazing. Good service and a lovely breeze with shaded patio. Very busy, authentic kitchen so pizza is a quick choice.

my overpriced pizza. is there a Domino's on the island?

I figure my review will match other Yelpers on here but I'll put out here anyway. 18% GRATUITY AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED PER CHECK- Even if you did carry out. Used to be 20% but they had to comply with the law and be below 20%- so that made it 18. Ambiance is nice as it resembles an open air European cafe- but when it's full, it's extremely hard to move around and you'll find yourself in 4 other conversations. Unlike every other restaurant we went to on the island, this one told us we could only buy bottled water and there was no tap water. So that was $3 a person for 16 oz bottles. Food was average and overpriced, unsurprising for a tourist trap. We had cheese pizza which was good, but it's kind of hard to mess up cheese pizza.

We made a reservation, but honestly it didn't seem totally necessary when we went. From the moment we sat down, the staff was on top of everything and so friendly. You could tell they really care about the experience, and everything flowed perfectly without feeling rushed. For drinks, we ordered the Vessup and the Carib and both were so good. The Vessup especially stood out, the cream on top was so smooth and delicious and just made the whole drink. They brought out fresh bread to start and it was so good (always a win in my book). For dinner, we went with the lobster with potato and broccolini and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just on point. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of our favorite dinners on the trip. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little nicer but still with that island feel.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Duffy's provides free parking which is a rarity and right at noon, the mall lot had tons of open spots. We both ordered burgers, one with the standard fries and one with onion rings. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

Our flights routed through Atlanta to St. Thomas; there are no flights to St. John, only a ferry from St. John (or St. Croix), so we stayed one overnight at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, which is next-door on the peninsula from the Westin, which is where you find Luna Mar; Frenchman's Cove offers rides in the hotel shuttles, and you can also walk... note that the short distance is hilly, and there are some blind spots but can also hear the cars coming, so if you walk, you should apply common sense and use all five physical senses and you'll be ok. Luna Mar, at the Westin, is a fantastic property, with wonderful views of Charlotte-Amalie and the rest of St. Thomas in one direction, and a view out into the ocean to the other direction. Luna Mar is an open-air restaurant... yet no insects! Unsure how that was/is possible, but we do confirm that there were no insects the night we dined there. Luna Mar serves fantastic food, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my wonderful wife at great restaurant with amazing views - Aegean lemon chicken - "Roasted chicken, oregano-lemon sauce, warm potatoes & arugula salad" - Chicken and regular and purple potatoes... with green beans... atop small salad... fantastic all around... chicken crispy on outside and juicy inside; fantastic potatoes - Provence-style sea bass - "Cannelloni purée, romesco sauce, lemon-garlic broccolini, peperonata, olive oil Aaliya - thank you for serving us on our visit.
