Great environment and great food. The accommodated to my wife's Vegan request and the service was fantastic. Will definitely go back again.

We came for lunch with a group of ten and they easily accommodated us on the spot. Our waitress had us seated and drinks-in-hand in no time flat! Which was great because it took us a minute on the menu - everything looked and sounded good! I had the Fish Tacos and they really hit the spot; lite but filling! While eating we were surprised with a round of complimentary shots delivered by the owner herself, which really made us feel appreciated. (Funny story, we ended up running into her again at Sea Salt which was fun!) You could tell that she takes pride in her restaurant and it shows! The location and vibes of the spot, in a chill alley where you can just hang and relax, made it so we didn't want to leave. But we did stop by the next day just to say hi! If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of Side Street Pub and I encourage you to check them out - you'll have a great meal and time!

We weren't disappointed we all had a great time and it was busy but there was a table inside while we waited outside for a table. The chicken sandwich was so delicious we all got one. Love how the chips come with a side of French onion dip. The chicken sandwich was so perfectly seasoned and tender and loved the pineapple. It's located off an alley and the alley ambiance with shops off the waterfront and street was so fun.

I was way overheated and I went straight for the icy pina colada with a little rum to help it down. The bartender was really friendly and we chatted with him. He even was kind enough to refill up my personal cup of tea with ice. It's breezy and you have an amazing view from The Salty Dog. I know it's mainly for the hotel guests, but it's sure a nice little treat up there. We asked about night time and were told that it pretty much closes up early, but that they are considering keeping it open at night due to the great views. If you do the trek up the hill to the tower, you'll probably give 'em a little business.

With great Mtn Top views of the bay, you can have a cocktail, beer or Iced Tea and watch the ships and sea planes fly in and out. The food is as well very good, offering typical burgers and sandwiches. Considering they have no real competition the place does a great job atop the hill. In addition to good food and drinks the service was quick and friendly in spite of the busy atmosphere. You may have to wait for a table if you're in a group so breaking up into smaller groups might get you in faster. If you're a double or single, you'll have no problem finding a spot at the bar.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, all of it is good. Even the vegetarian options. The pulled pork and the chicken wings are especially delicious. The portions here are hefty, and after a long day in the sun havin' fun, a pitstop here will ground ya for the night. Pricewise, this spot is a bargin. Its loud and can get a lil rowdy on the weekends, but otherwise a great spot to kickback and watch the game. The kitchen is open late too. Downstairs in the den there are a few lil lottery machines, a pool table and the typical dive bar essentials.

Not a super hopping area and on a street vs. the beach or anything fancy like that. We saw a chicken or two wandering around also. But the staff and food were great, so that made up for the location not being the best. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super nice and helpful about which drinks might be good for us when we told him what flavors we were feeling. I had my first of many Island Summer Ale beers here (brewed in St. John). Served very crisp and cold in a frosty bottle. For food, I had the fish tacos (when in Rome - or on an island, in this case), along with tater tots. The tacos were tasty, with fried fish, lettuce, and a cheesy sauce on top. My friend had tacos too, but picked the beef protein, and chose the beans as her side. Her's also looked delish, so I would try those if I ever make it back that way. As we left (after dark), the bartender did us another favor. We almost got in the wrong car, thinking it was our taxi, and he ran out and grabbed us and said that was not a taxi at all! I'm not positive it would have been dangerous to get in the car, but it definitely felt like he saved us. If you're staying in the Havensight area of St. Thomas, and don't mind a sports bar style atmosphere vs. beachy vibe, then I would recommend checking out out Dog House Pub for the tacos and beer!
