This use to be called Epernay, it was one of my absolute favorite restaurants so I was sad to hear it had changed owners. But decided to give it a try. Getting reservations wasn't easy! If you can try and plan weeks in advance! Reservations were for 8.15 we got there early and since our table wasn't ready they offered us to have a seat on the benches across from the restaurant and came to serve us a drink there. They even brought a little "amuse bouche" for my friend who was absolutely famished! We had the blue cheese dip, the scallops and mussels risotto, the salmon with pesto and lobster with coconut curry. Everything was amazing! I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite! I'll definitely be going back if I ever visit St.Thomas again.

Our Wednesday night reservations gave us a view of the parking lot. When we were brought to the table we were introduced to it as a cozy spot with a view of the water. A bit insulting as we know what water views look like and this wasn't one of them. Be sure to specify where you'd like to sit as we were told only those that request it get inside. Our server was pleasant. The food was fine, nothing memorable. The hostess was jumpy and lacked sincerity.

Dined at Sea La Vie on 6/27/23 and had a fantastic meal. We shared a variety of appetizers and the steak frites amongst 3 and it was perfect, food was delicious. The staff was incredibly genuine and happy to serve us, we will be back next time!

One of the best dining experiences we have had in St Thomas. Everything from the service, presentation and flavors were amazing. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The owners explained where some of the ingredients were locally sourced. Food came out hit? Beautiful and perfectly seasoned. We hope to be back in our next trip.

Amazing! We absolutely enjoyed everything about this beautiful hidden gem. Food, vibe and the small family feel. The chef even came to introduce home self as we were all so impressed.

This was hands down my favorite meal on St. Thomas. Food was incredible and service was excellent. My husband and I were looking for a spot to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary, and we were so happy that a friend recommended Sea La Vie. We were lucky to snag two seats at the bar, but I highly recommend calling ahead a day or two before and getting a reservation. (Place is somewhat small and seating is only open until 9pm since they close at 9:30pm, so it fills up quickly.) Really cute, intimate atmosphere. Everything we ate and drank was awesome...Stand outs were the garlic bread with Gorgonzola dipping sauce, the ribeye, and the key lime pie with coconut macaroon crust. Great addition to the food scene in St. Thomas!

Food was great. Place was small and quaint. Ask for Kara the waitress for an even more memorable experience!

We made a reservation, but honestly it didn't seem totally necessary when we went. From the moment we sat down, the staff was on top of everything and so friendly. You could tell they really care about the experience, and everything flowed perfectly without feeling rushed. For drinks, we ordered the Vessup and the Carib and both were so good. The Vessup especially stood out, the cream on top was so smooth and delicious and just made the whole drink. They brought out fresh bread to start and it was so good (always a win in my book). For dinner, we went with the lobster with potato and broccolini and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just on point. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of our favorite dinners on the trip. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little nicer but still with that island feel.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Duffy's provides free parking which is a rarity and right at noon, the mall lot had tons of open spots. We both ordered burgers, one with the standard fries and one with onion rings. It took a good half hour for the food to be delivered but when we got it, it was hot and cooked to our specs. Fries were crispy. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

Our flights routed through Atlanta to St. Thomas; there are no flights to St. John, only a ferry from St. John (or St. Croix), so we stayed one overnight at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, which is next-door on the peninsula from the Westin, which is where you find Luna Mar; Frenchman's Cove offers rides in the hotel shuttles, and you can also walk... note that the short distance is hilly, and there are some blind spots but can also hear the cars coming, so if you walk, you should apply common sense and use all five physical senses and you'll be ok. Luna Mar, at the Westin, is a fantastic property, with wonderful views of Charlotte-Amalie and the rest of St. Thomas in one direction, and a view out into the ocean to the other direction. Luna Mar is an open-air restaurant... yet no insects! Unsure how that was/is possible, but we do confirm that there were no insects the night we dined there. Luna Mar serves fantastic food, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my wonderful wife at great restaurant with amazing views - Aegean lemon chicken - "Roasted chicken, oregano-lemon sauce, warm potatoes & arugula salad" - Chicken and regular and purple potatoes... with green beans... atop small salad... fantastic all around... chicken crispy on outside and juicy inside; fantastic potatoes - Provence-style sea bass - "Cannelloni purée, romesco sauce, lemon-garlic broccolini, peperonata, olive oil Aaliya - thank you for serving us on our visit.
