From out-of-state vacationing with our teenage grandsons. This is our third stay here, so the boys…read moreknow their way around pretty well. We also have relatives nearby that come stay to make it a large family affair. The boys really love this place. The numerous water parks are all great. The arcade area is good for half a day. The food venues are all good and the evening visits for frozen yogurt is a must. Rooms are getting a bit dated but well maintained and more than acceptable for our needs. Plenty of parking. There is so much to do and see in the area, this makes for a great home base location.

We came to Wisconsin on 7/3/26 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. One of the things we got…read moretickets for was the Take Flight experience. We couldn't decide out of the two experience which one to do so we did a double feature. We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

This place does need work but they are handling it. The outside is shabby the lobby is nice. They…read moreare working on one side of the building with lights and carpet. One pool was closed but the other pools were ok and our kids loved it. They got it in it as soon as we got there. The one bedroom suite we had reserved was cool until we pulled out the let out sofa bed an it smelled like pee. We call customer service let them know what the issue was. Less than 5 minutes they found us another room that was better than the one we had. We loved it. Our car was right were we could see it I'm front, literary by the window. They only thing is they need screens on the windows. They will be better when they finish upgrading the place. Waterfall in the lobby was not on. It was not clean , mens bathroom by the lobby was not working. They are trying I will give them points for that.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Once you…read morewalk into the lobby, you know you're in for a ride. It's very basic, super plain and lacking appeal. Getting to our room, all the hallways smelled like cigarettes and weed. The doors from the outside to the inside of the building are supposed to be only accessible by key card, but that doesn't matter. All the doors are open! The Wi-Fi doesn't work so it's very hard to watch TV considering their TV is a smart TV and everything is streaming. So don't plan on watching TV here, or using the internet at all. Our room had a wonky toilet, a broken door knob on the bathroom door and our air conditioning unit was making rickety noises all night. I tried calling down to the front desk to have them fix the door knob, but our phone was broken. Don't get on the deck! You might fall through. This place reminds me of the Bates motel. Very rundown in need of a lot of TLC. The parking lot is overgrown with weeds and the property is also overgrown with weeds and it's super sketchy when you walk from the inside pool to the outside water area. The hot tub isn't even hot! The water in the hot tub is colder than the outdoor water in the outdoor pool. A majority of their water area outside is roped off with "keep out" signs and the last remaining 2 pools have a lot of missing tiles. I am very upset that I spent $200 a night at this disgusting place. I would recommend Anywhere else in the Dells over this place. When I gave my concerns to the front desk this morning upon checkout, she didn't even blink, it didn't seem to bother her at all, none of the comments that I was making. My recommendation, never stay here!!!! if you don't believe anything I say, take a look at my pictures.

I'd give Great Wolf Lodge 3.5/5 stars. Overall, it's definitely a 100% kid-friendly resort, but I…read morewouldn't say it's as enjoyable for teenagers unless you're mainly there for the water park. My biggest issue was the room service and basic room amenities. Around 8 AM during my stay, I called multiple times asking for more towels, coffee cups, and coffee. By 10 AM, no one had come, so I called again. They apologized and assured me someone would come up, but once again, no one ever came. The room service honestly did not satisfy me at all--I've had much better experiences elsewhere. When I first arrived, my room also didn't have a bar of hand soap, extra toilet paper, or a channel guide for the TV, which made things a little more inconvenient than they needed to be. That being said, if you're traveling with younger kids, I think this is a great option because there's a lot specifically geared toward them. For teens, though, there are definitely other resorts I'd consider first.

I complained to the front desk. They said they cannot do anything about the deluxe room, but they moved me to another standard room, which was ok, but not what I paid for. The whole experience was extremely inconvenient and took over an hour of my vacation time. I typically don't post bad reviews like this unless the place is really bad. I communicated with their management to try to work this out. They basically told me to go pound sand and to deal with Expedia. Expedia told me it's Great Wolf Lodge problem not their problem. With so many other nice water parks in the area, why would I come back to this sh*thole?

Sundara is a unique place. Love all of the relaxation areas, and the pools. Appreciate how there is…read moreno phone use allowed, it is a nice reminder to take a break in general. Also like the "spa voices" intention...unfortunately not many follow it at the pools. Try to sit by fountains if you don't like to hear people yammer on. The "wear your robe" concept is cool too, you really do not need to bring many clothes! Nava was just fine, thought it would be fancier and more crowded. Rooms are nice, loved having a fake fireplace. The crew generally is great throughout. I had a terrific massage by Kathy; when I return, I will definitely ask for her. The room rate for one night was astronomical for a weekend in Oct, but it was awesome how I could use the amenities early on the day I checked in, and the day I checked out.

I guess my biggest issue with the place are all the rules that you have to sign when you check in. It's in such jarring contrast to the spa like smells, the zen music playing and then there's the person checking you in yelling that everyone staying in the room has to sign off on the rules (eyeballing the person standing next to me who had yet to sign) Now obviously they had issues in the past as that is why they make rules. The craziest one is around check in and check out times. I get that the check in time is 4 (they want you to come early and stow your bags and enjoy the pool areas and spa) and check out is 11 but to say if you stay one minute over 11 you will be charged another full day is ridiculous. It makes for everyone running for the elevator at 11am and trust me, the small elevators take forever when there isn't a hotel full of people trying to leave. It's clear that the schedule is built around them and not around the people who are guests. The rooms are also very dark and not equipped for anything to do but sleep. I've tried 2 different tactics now to get a room that I like but the first time I stayed there- the hike to my room was ridiculous (I was back by the common room and the wild turkeys) and this time I asked for a room closer to the front and it was so dark even with all the lights on I really couldn't see. The highlight of my last room was the amazing shower- so that's a plus. But the toilet ran on and the sinks didn't drain right so it was really not worth the almost $500 I paid a night. The last time I was here, I did use the pool area which was nice. But service was non existent so you had to rouse yourself to go and find a bar tender to get food and drink. Again- a nice spa would do those things for you. All in all- maybe it's good for the Dells. But as a person who goes to spas all over the world, this one is lacking in a few areas to get a higher rating from me. Oh- and there are no pics as phones are not allowed. Pretty sure it's #2 on the rule list!

The room was clean, beds where made, the floors honestly looked freshly swept or mopped. The a/c worked great and no smell to the room! Room service needs to be called in order for them to come to you, but I called around 2:30pm for new towels and they brought them not even 10 mins later! The showers are a good size and the bathrooms were clean! My lack of stars is actually for the pool area + arcade. I hate the time limits on things like the hot tub and warming pools. As well as not enough tubes for the lazy river/ rides! The arcade is also more for younger kids but no issue there other than the workers! The card machine ate $80 of cash and they said there was nothing they could do about it! I had to call and complain a few times for them to offer money back. I decided on this place since they had a few unique slides and such a unique look! plus you got 2 parks in one. I am not a go kart person and they have quite a lot of them. My husband enjoyed those. I just watched. I really wanted to try the roller coasters and I was so lucky with NO lines. The 4 wooden coasters are rough and very intense rides. Would I ride them again? Probably not. But I was so glad I could try them. The waterpark was fun. I did spend most of my time in the indoor portion. However, I really enjoyed the lazy river outside. The crazy wave pool with the 9 foot waves ... scary and crazy... Also not for me but I enjoyed people watching. The rotating slide is really why I was there. I never been on something like this. I think it's the only one in the USA and wow was it weird. It was really fun and different and something I will be probably never experience again. It can give you a little bit of motion sickness due to the movement but if that's not an issue for you, you should be good. I also love a good hot tub which they had. I definitely recommend and would love to come back. It was just so unique and fun.
