I really like Island Nosh. For a short trip on the ferry over to Whidbey Island, it really feels like I'm much further away from Everett/Seattle than I am. The service is friendlier, a little slower thank the mainland (in a laid-back, good way). The food tastes fresh and healthy. I can take a deep breath. I'm on the Island. Don't pass this place by. Give it a try! You won't be dissapointed.

The food is delicious (it needs a tiny bit more seasoning for my taste but I'm a salt and spice lover, so I can add things as needed). The staff are wonderful, attentive and kind, and the indoor and outdoor seating is wonderful. No complaints except for the short hours (but who can blame them!) We can't wait to come back!

Udon Noodle Bowl and Beef Stroganoff (special).

Holy yum! Quick and delicious noodles. I was skeptical if they could do so many dishes (from Italian, Chinese, Thai, German) well- but boy did they! I got the Udon Noodles and my hubs got the Beef Stroganoff (on special). I would have licked the bowl it was so delicious. Definitely stop in- you will not regret it.

A perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a lovely meal after a long day of online meetings

COVID protocol: Excellent - I feel completely safe eating here or bringing their food home. *On-premises dining is outdoors when weather permits; call for hours. We moved to South Whidbey a month ago and were delighted to find fresh, healthy, and delicious food in Clinton! On nice evenings this is a perfect, tranquil location where you can savor each bite of artfully prepared cuisine and a glass of wine at one of the lawn tables. The take-out is great on rainy nights too, especially the Udon noodles!

Delicious and fresh ingredients, reliably good food. One of my family's favorite restaurants.

Great food and great ambience. This place is more of what we need on Whidbey. Imaginative food, great service and stylish ambiance.

On friday night, we waited ~20min. We walked around the town until we got a text message that our…read moretable was ready. After we sat down, we ordered 2 Shoyu, 1 spicy miso, and 1 Shrimp Tan Tan. Tan Tan: The broth for Tan Tan tasted clean and not greasy as it does not contain meat. It had a spicy kick to the broth which I loved. There were 4 shrimps that were perfectly cooked, not dry. Spicy Miso: the broth also had a kick to it. This broth was a bit thicker than Tan Tan's as the ramen contains meat. It wasn't greasy and salty. Shoyu: this broth is the thickest and heaviest. A bit greasy but not too greasy. All ramen weren't salty and were delicious even for non-ramen lover like myself. We will be back!

Nestled behind the main walking areas, you can follow the street signs to this restaurant. We arrived just before they opened for the evening from 4:30pm. It is not a large restaurant but we were early. Bright and cheerful interior with shelves of Japanese sweets and some souvenirs on the side. Our favorite and go-to is the tonkotsu which has the thicker pork bone broth. We have not visited for a year or so and the price has gone up while the volume seemed to have gone down. Nevertheless the taste was great and we were satisfied with the meal.

It was a little hard…read moreto find the place but after following people I noticed the signs that pointed to the food truck. To start off the smell while waiting in line was amazing and I knew the food was going to be delicious. I ordered the crab cakes which were perfectly portioned and incredibly flavorful. It came with a delicious sauce on the side that I dunked every bite in. I also got a side of the Mac salad which was good, a little different from what I'm used to but I think a drizzle of soy or teriyaki sauce on top would have made it perfect for me. Ultimately it was hard to choose because everything sounded yummy so I am excited to visit again and try more items on the menu.

There is a very small seating area dedicated to the food truck-- the larger outdoor seating area is reserved for customers of the Brewery. However as long as you order a drink you're welcome to enjoy the food from Ikaika indoors or outdoors. The order process was easy-- they had the full menu on the glass of the ordering booth and a menu board with the gluten free options from their full menu. Once you place the order they give you a beeper that'll work anywhere on the property so you can definitely place the order and head inside the brewery to grab a drink. It did take a long time for our orders to come out-- there were 2 people on average preparing the food while 1 person was in charge of managing the register. The sauce that came with the fish and chips were amazing and got praise from all of us. We also ordered kimchi fried rice and while the kimchi was great, some of the rice tasted undercooked and the celery felt a little strange as an addition. The kalua sandwich was very solid and the buns were toasted beautifully golden and we did order the award winning beans but my partner was not a fan of the sweetness. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips also had a gingery aftertaste.

The property is in a quiet location, and the fact that it is a working winery as well is unique. It is located just minutes from Langley which is one of our favorite small towns to visit. The property is pastoral and the modern building nestles into the setting well. The rooms are clean, tastefully appointed, and very comfortable. The room we were in was spacious and had plenty of storage and open area. The custom bed frames and headboards really added to the spacious room feel. The common kitchen area is well set up, and the common reading/living room is inviting. We had a view that looked across to Clinton and south Everett. We understood there was a simple breakfast, but wow! We got homemade granola with yogurt and toasted homemade apricot/walnut bread with an apple/pear/fig side salad. We were having battery problems with our vehicle - requiring an overnight battery charge, and finally a jump-start. They were very helpful and made sure we got jumped so we could get over to Les Schwab and get a new battery. This place is our best place to stay in the area! We will go out of our way to get here.
