I am hoping to get an appointment for today. They are professional. No, they do not chit chat. But I am not going in for conversation or companionship. I get the French SNS. It lasts a month. It looks good, holds up and yes it's expensive, but there is a lower price for cash. I am a professional. My time is my stock in trade, these people are in business and sometimes I have to wait, but I understand business. If you want a cocktail spa experience go somewhere else. It makes more appointments available for those of us who value our time. read more

I went in for a manicure and pedicure. The place was clean, that's something I look for. They had the most extensive inventory of nail polishes and SNS dips I've ever seen! The manicure was the best I've had and so was the pedicure. Both nail techs made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. read more

I share Kay S's experience from Georgetown, Texas. Upon entering for a pedicure, when I sat in the chair, I was handed a menu card with only two options. Although I verbalized "basic" service, I was led to believe that the two choices on the card were my only options, so I opted for the cheaper one. However, upon reaching the front desk to settle the bill, I noticed the full menu board on the wall. It revealed three options, including the basic pedicure ($9 cheaper) as well as the spa options. Additionally, spa choices came with a complimentary beverage, which was not offered. These unethical business practices are unacceptable, and I certainly will not be returning. read more

Very disappointed. I had a pedicure done by the only man who works there, I assume is the owner. Gave off a rude vibe as me and my partner came in. He only did one coat of nail polish on my toes. He also missed one whole nail! This was 3 days ago and the paint is already noticeably chipping. Not a very welcoming environment at all and disappointing result of the service. read more

I told the technician I wanted the "basic pedicure", which is listed on the board as $30. I heard her tell the cashier that she gave me a basic pedicure. The cashier charged me 45$ (which is the price of the spa pedicure). I told him I had specifically asked for just the basic pedicure and all he said was sorry, and still charged me higher. We came in today as a bridal party group they were so sweet and while we waited for our turns they let us sit in the massage chairs and offered us water because my head was hurting! What I enjoy most about getting a mani/pedi is going home afterwards and cleaning it up. I want to work on my cuticles, remove nail polish from my fingers, file my nails so they're smooth and possibly just remove the polish completely and start all over again. This was the worst mani I've ever gotten. They were friendly and chatted with me and weren't rushed. In fact there was only one other customer in before my friend and I arrived. Then another person left after waiting for so long for an appointment that she bothered to book ahead. But none of the tools were sanitized or looked clean. And I really can't stress enough how bad of a job the older woman did on mine. It was hard to watch and I'll only say so much to politely ask things like "pls fix this". The gentleman did a better job on my friends gel and pedi. And still tools not clean. But it was however inexpensive. I will not be returning though and can't recommend enough that you try somewhere else. read more

If you have gel polish do not go here! I told them repeatedly that I have very thin nails and the woman still filed the polish off along with most of my nails. I could feel it on my nail bed. Other places are much more gentle. I went here because they had no wait (I know why now). Also, they had a very limited selection of OPI polishes. I have a few repeat favorite shades and they had none of them. My pedicure was fine, but 0 stars for what they did to my nails. It will take months for the damage to grow out. read more

We'll start by saying the man who did my nails beyond manhandled me the entire time; my hands and my feet. I left sore! The polish on my toes looks absolutely awful, so much that I'll be going somewhere else tomorrow for them to change the polish for me. And that's on top of their polish selection being very very limited. My nails ended up being more almond shaped than coffin. & when I asked the man to try & salvage them he had an attitude the rest of the time. Very disappointing. I asked for the best pedicure~supposedly the deluxe. Only 3 minutes of massage per leg. She applied some kind of moisturizer before and that sat longer than my actual massage. For my pedicure she clipped and scrubbed way too fast... Not relaxing at all. Almost hurt. My S and S manicure... so disappointed.. the filing was so fast and hard I was nervous with the drill. I stopped into Island Nail without an appointment, was taken immediately and was extremely happy with my pedicure. Ann worked very hard and did a fine job. The price was half what I pay at a fancy spa at home in Chicago, and the work was better. This is a no-frills place, but don't be turned off by the lack of luxury. Went there to get my nails done bc I had a gift certificate. Worst nail experience. I told her I wanted French shellac nails. I had shellac on my nails going in, I know what it is. Anyway, she obviously did not want to do it. Kept telling me it was more expensive. I know that. Then would say it takes a lot of time. I know that too. Then tells me I should get regular nail polish bc of the time. Or I should get a color shellac bc of the time. First off, it was 3:30ish in the afternoon and they are supposed to be open till 7. If anyone is worried about the time, shouldn't it be me?! Not you! Anyway I decided that if she was going to give so much push back about doing French shellac, then she probably isn't good at it. So I just grabbed a color. She didn't even do that right though. When I left my nails were uneven, she apparently caught a hair or a piece of dirt under the shellac while it was drying bc now I have a very noticeable bump AND to top it off, it still took forever. I will never waste my time or money going back there again. Would not recommend. read more
