I asked for a pedicure/manicure. I had gel polish that needed to be taken off and instead of soaking it off the lady, Cindy, wanted to drill my nails. I said no to the drill at which time Cindy put my hands in two ziplock bags with a paper towel and acetone. Note: there were two other women who were getting gel soaked off the usual way - with cotton soaked acetone in individual tin foil on each finger. Then I pointed out that I wanted a pedicure and Cindy told me to walk over to the pedicure chairs. Keep in mind my hands were in ziplock bags in a bowl and I had my purse and phone. Cindy was irritated at best about having to help. I get to the pedicure chair and the bag in the bowl wouldn't settle so the man doing my pedicure did not turn the on jets. When I asked why, Cindy, turned the jets on and the bowl bag ended up wrapping around my feet the entire time. The man doing my pedicure barely did anything and finished as quickly as possible. At the same time, Cindy decided on her own that I did not need a manicure and when I confronted her, she said I did not need one. I said so this is a polish change then? She said yes. I get to the counter to pay and was told it was $30 for a manicure and $30 for the pedicure. I told Cindy that I did not get a manicure and she said the gel polish was $30. I told her the price was ridiculous seeing as how the whole bottle of polish costs $8 max. The icing on the cake was her asking me for a tip. Needless to say there was no tip and I would be cautious about choosing this salon. No, this ain't my first time in there, but it will be my last time for sure. Their sister store in Brunswick is much better and the staff is much friendlier. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. if you choose to go, ask for pricing up front. After four years and multiple do-overs, I may be done. This place was so convenient. Today, I was rushed through the quickest manicure ever. It was a gel manicure. There was no lotion, no massage and no real cuticle clean up. After that, I was moved to a pedicure chair and another tech. They put the worst smelling stuff into my foot basin and never even mentioned it. This tech skipped the polar rub part of the pedicure I paid for and love. Then, that tech went to start another pedicure, and I was passed off to another tech, who started after I'd waited several minutes for her to finish her client.. There is no consistency in this place. The mani and pedi took almost two hours - even after being rushed through my color pick and express mani. You may have a good experience one week and the worst experience a month later. It's not always bad, but it's not always good, either. If you want to get into a brawl with a crazy old Asian lady this is the place to go! They will hold your card physically in their hands and try to charge you without even doing the job! Let me start by saying i absolutely love writing/reading reviews. I read most of the reviews before coming here and to be honest the reviews were questionable. But I decided to give this place a try because there are not many options in the brunswick area and I pass them frequently because I work on the island at a local bank. When I came into the shop I was impressed at how nice and glamorous the place looks beautiful chandeliers and chairs. Very clean. There was one lady already in getting a pedi and 2 other techs waiting for customers. I was seated immediately in the last chair. I was greeted by and elderly tech. When I sat down I asked them what options they had with the pedicures. The tech that was working on me didn't speak good English so the other tech told me "we have two options 1 for 35 and 1 for 45". I told that tech that I would like callus removal as well but I still would like to know what I'm paying for. Another woman comes in and they greet her, she sits down and the last tech starts to work on her. That same tech asks this woman " what type of pedicure would she like" and hands her a paper with the prices and details of the pedicures. I asked my tech if I could see that paper because she is now asking me to take my feet out of the water so the can dry them. She hadn't been on my feet 10mins! "I asked her if she was done" She ignores me and walks away to get my polish. This is when things turn left.. The other nails tech brings me sheet, As is start reading the list I notice everything my tech hasn't done and i tell the nail tech that does speak English that my tech hasn't done those things. The nail tech responds to me saying " I know she doesn't listen to us, we try to tell my owner". My tech sits down to start painting my nails and the nail tech try's to explain to her that she hasn't finished my feet properly and the elderly woman pushes her and snatched the paper out of my hands. Than she gets up and walks away. I was in complete shock that this just happened. So I get up hand my card to the elderly woman and say "I'll pay for what you've done and I'll go somewhere else" She tells me "no you wait" I say "no I will not wait, I will pay for what was done and I'll leave" So she has now refused to run the payment but won't give me my card back so I can leave. She continues walking back and forth telling me to wait and calling their owner to come in and speak with me. I keep telling her let me pay and leave, the other women In the shop are also telling her to make the payment and let me leave. She refuses to hear anyone.. I reach to get my card from her trying to snatch it from her and she is holding on to it like it's her card I'm trying to steal! Still resisting to give me my card. This is where I need to call the police but I didn't... i literally had to scare this woman before she threw my card on to another stations table. And then the owner comes in. The owner comes to me and asks me what's wrong. I am furious. I explain to her the whole situation and she apologize for the elderly techs actions meanwhile the elderly tech is behind her talking crap in their language, the owner tells her " be quiet you don't work here anymore" And ask what she can do to assist me. I told her "i just want to pay for the work she's done and leave, I don't want any services in the place" She asks "what did she do?" looking down at my feet and then she says " you don't pay just leave" I will NEVER come to this place again! All I wanted was a Gel spa pedicure with callus removal. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They racially profiled me from the beginning when they placed me in the very back of the salon when the place was empty, how they sat two white women together and placed me by myself in the back with the worst tech in the building. Or how they didn't feel the need to explain the services to me and though they would halfway do the job but get full payment. I've never felt so embarrassed in life until I came here! I try to find a positive side to every business, but this establishment made it nearly impossible. I went in for a mani/pedi. I walked in and was immediately taken back for my mani. Much to my surprise a gentleman then sat down on my left side and began my manicure as well. My feet could not have been in the water more than 1-2 minutes before the woman started my pedicure. Neither of them addressed me at all, but talked and laughed to each other the entire time I sat in the chair. I assumed the man would switch to my right side to do the other hand, but no! He asked me to stretch my right arm across in an uncomfortable position for the entire manicure. They both were giving me instructions as to when to my move my hands or feet... not very relaxing. When I returned home I noticed that not only didn't they remove the majority of dead skin and cuticles, they also did not remove my old toe nail polish. The woman (i think her name was Cathy) who did my mani was ok. Friendly and also did a good job for the most part with my hands. She didn't ask how much i wanted cut or what shape. Pedicure was not good. The woman rushed. Didn't even look at me and was so rough. Luckily she didn't cut me or make me bleed but she was so forceful with the tools. When I called in to see if she was available they told me she was booked for the rest of the day , when I asked to book an appointment they told me they don't take appointments. Beware of this salon's price gouging! A gel manicure and regular pedicure cost $57...and the result was average. My friend that was with me got a basic, no-frills pedicure and ask them to paint her fingernails. When asked if she wanted a full manicure she politely said no and when she went to pay and it was $35. A dollar more than the mani/pedi package advertised. While prices are on the wall, they don't often match the price you're told once it's done. I think most people just pay the total and don't ask questions. We won't be back. read more

This place looks busy and popular. I wasn't impressed. They use kitchen graters to exfoliate feet. They keep all their tools in a dirty tool box and either dip them in the foot water or just wipe them with a towel before tossing them back in the box. I feel lucky I didn't get a fungus. They rudely talked to each other the entire time in their native language and appeared to be discussing my daughter and me, based on their looks and gestures. They cut a couple of cuticles too low, causing them to bleed, and didn't push them back evenly, causing the paint to be uneven. They had a guy working on my hands at the same time as my pedicure, forcing me to twist uncomfortably in the chair when he worked on my far hand. The paint didn't go to the edge of the nails on sides or at cuticles and it was chipping off the next day. When done, the workers just walked away. Didn't offer to take my to the drying table, take the sponges from between my toes, or help me get my belongings together with wet nails. I won't go back read more

Minus one star for the poor ventilation - the smell of acrylics was so bad I had a sore throat afterward, even though no one was actually getting acrylics when we were in the shop. Minus one star for talking my teenage sister into a wrap and massage during her pedicure, without mentioning it would cost her an extra $20. Minus one star for the "masque" used during the wrap, that smelled strongly like a mixture of Ben Gay and baby powder and stained my legs blue. But one of the employees was on an iPad the whole time in one of the chairs. It was not very relaxing. Brought my mom here because they do gel on your pedicure. When we walked in with out appointments and the girl at the front desk was very sweet. We got seen right away and place in massage chairs that were comfy. I was very impressed with the fact that they place covers in the tub that are replaceable after every pedicure so it is very sanitary. The water was a little cool but nothing that couldn't be fixed. The scrubbers that were used on our feet all came out of new packages and the tools were all sanitized. The most basic pedicure package is $15 and for $45 you can get leg masks, warm towels and Polish. Very nice! The lady that did my feet was quiet, but this could have been a language barrier issue or maybe just having a bad day... it happens right? She did a good job on my feet so honestly that was fine with me. The guy that did my moms spoke decent English and was very friendly and funny. They will provide wine or water if you would like. We did not get manicures but if you get both they will work on both your feet and hands at the same time to cut down on time. This I thought was great. The massage on my legs was about 10 minutes massage and the whole service lasts 60 minutes. Overall I was impressed and will go back for sure! read more

While on vacation stopped in for a pedicure. Atmosphere and staff are very nice. Staff seems to know locals by name. Plastic liner around the bowl we put our feet in. The pedicure was super rushed! We paid $35 for an ultra pedicure and my massage was less than a minute for each leg. We even had the same lady for both my husband and I. I brought my own sandals but couldn't put them on with the wet Polish, instead of giving me the plastic sandals the lady had me walk barefoot to the drying station! 3 stars.
