The Nail Place is a quality salon and a bit of a surprise because from the parking lot it doesn't even appear to be an open business. Once inside the lobby you'll be greeted quickly and asked to complete a new customer form if it's your first visit. Next visits are really easy, just enter information on the touch pad and you'll be greeted by name. I've never had an appointment but that only because of luck. Not knowing exactly what services I wanted led to a nice conversation with 'Em' who guided me along the way. I was very happy with the dip/manicure and gel/pedicure. I was greeted by a very efficient, professional, and friendly lady that worked the front desk. I was directed to sign in and sign up for my services. No, the prices are not on the registration screen, but when it's time for you to pick your selected service(s) option, the price list is readily available. I requested gel polish (knowing there would be an up charge), and was told of that up charge right off the bat. The nail tech, Matthew, was fabulous. Stopped into The Nail Place today with my niece for a quick pedicure for me and polish for her. I've been to many nail salons and this one did surprise me. Their check in process is all electronic. They have a "lotion bar" for you to pick your preferred lotion scent to be used during your service. I really liked the decor and overall set up. It was relaxing and just what we needed. This was my first visit and let me tell you, I was blown away, the Salon is very pleasing to enter, very clean, and organized. You are greeted with a smile. I didn't have an appointment, I waited maybe 20 minutes, and the assistant checked on me and apologized for the wait (even though I didn't have an appointment. Wait! Wait! Wait! After reading all the reviews, I knew I was going to have to wait. You should expect to wait at least an hour. I walked in on a Saturday at 11am without an appointment and the wait was estimated to be an hour. As long as you are mentally prepared it's not bad because they are in a decent shopping plaza. The nail salon is gorgeous. The decor is very modern and it looks very clean. This is the first salon I've been to where the manicures are at a bar. (See attached photo). The salon allows you to test at least 10 different scents of lotions; you pick which one smells the best. After about an hour and half I was seated in my pedi chair. The tech was nice and did a good job cleaning up my nails. The manager offered me water and a phone charger. A phone charger! That's a first. Thumbs up. My pedi included a dead skin removal which is great because I usually have to pay extra. I did get a little cut but the manager was very apologetic and took care of everything. If you have the time and want a clean nail salon, check it out. Today is June 15 and they were booked out with appointments until July. They don't completely book up because they want to accommodate for walk-ins. read more

Long story short I won't be returning. I came here looking to get a pedicure and full set for an upcoming vacation. The lady doing my full set did a horrible job filing, shaping, and painting my nails. The polish was painted on thick and was very streaky. She didn't allow enough time for the polish to dry between each coat. I typically do dip powder or gel but it's hard for me to trust a new salon. The lighting inside is very poor so you can't really see how terrible it is until you walk outside. I did point out one of the mistakes but she managed to make it worse. Upon checking out, the receptionist asked about my satisfaction with the services. I explained that I was unhappy with the paint job. She offered to have the manicurist fix my nails. My experience was wonderful. The inside is gorgeous. They are taking extra precautions due to COVID and my nail artist Matt was funny and took the time to make sure I was comfortable. I have been coming here for a while now, but will not be returning. Very long wait, which I am fine with since they do a nice job every time. Don't bother with manicure because you pay $20 just for the lotion. I get dip powder on my natural nail and it's already shaped in a coffin and i asked her if she could trim them since they were getting a little long and she asked if I would like the same shape and I yes and she goes that will be $5 more. I've been here a few times now so I figure I'll give my pros and cons. I'll start with the cons; There is no price list when entering. I feel like every place of business should have their prices listed for customers to see. This place has an up charge for not only nail art but a certain type of polish could be a $15 up charge!! That's something that should be posted in my opinion. The person providing your service could be taken from you during time to provide another person a faster service. For example, I might be getting a full set and someone comes in to get their eye brows waxed, they'll use my technician to do the waxing and then come back to me to continue working on my full set. I get why they do this but I don't think it's cool for customer service and it's kinda annoying. Some technicians take appointments and some don't. My fav nail tech for my hands (Shout out to Doogie!!) doesn't take appointments which can be a bummer but let me tell ya, I will sit there and wait 2+ hrs for her to do my nails cause she's that good yall! (Guess that was a lil pro and con ) They don't like ya bringin ya children to this place (so maybe for someone this might be a pro cause some days for me it is ) however I do love spoiling my littles with some painted toesies so this could pose a issue for you here. Not that they hated our lil baby person because most of them swooned over her cutie pie antics but most folks are comin to relax and a scream lil person is no fun! Thankfully our lil bundle made silly faces mostly and I wasn't picky at all when it came time to her getting her toesies painted (they do require your little to receive services in order to be in the facility) this was more to me about some well spent time with my best girls! FYI that baby toesies polish cost me $15. On to the PROS; This place is CLEAN You do not smell awful chemicals or just musty odor because they ain't run the AC in 3.5 yrs. They are always wiping surfaces, sweeping/mopping etc. The decor is beautiful! Dark color palette, chandeliers, comfy pedicure chairs, sleek sofas for waiting, and the countertop where they do nail services is a beautiful granite! Very stylish and modern The lady who greats you (sorry I cannot remember her name ‍) is very soft spoken. They have tablets on the wall for you to efficiently check in for any services you wish to receive and then she'll call you up to get the specifics so she can write a ticket out for your technician to pick up when they're ready for you. She is the only one there so if several come in at once it can be a lil crazy because she has a very specific way she does things and you can tell she doesn't like to deter from it. I think the prices being listed would help out a lot in this area (see what I did there ) So far Doogie has been the only one I've used for my nails. I've never been able to keep a full set of nails for the 2 weeks until a necessary fill in, I've always had atleast 1 but usually more lifting by that time, until now! My first set of nails with Doogie I managed to keep for 4 weeks without any lifting and didn't have any come off with breaks! I'm on my set with the fill ins now and I had one break totally my fault and I had one where something went wrong with the polish. I had gel polish and she said something happened and my thumb had a part that didn't cure correctly so she fixed it and I didn't even get charged for that nail's fix up! Well. I think I've covered everything. I doubt anyone has even made it to the end but I wanted to give them a complete review so folks would know. I know when I'm looking for a nail salon I wish others would write a more detailed review so I really know what I can expect if I go. If you made it to the end, I hope it was worth it for you to give them a try! The only way they could get better is if they gave those complimentary 10 min shoulder massages & booze that they give you in the nail salons in NY oh yeah and the price list (see what I did there ) read more

The person at front is rude to customers and will not wait for a decision to be made for a nail color.. I asked for the owner of the business and they did not let me know. When I went to nail technician she did not want to do the different types of polish. I complained about the service and she said She spent 10 minutes on trying to find the colors I needed. Everytime I go it is a 45 min wait for a pedicure... for the amount of chairs they have in the place you would think they would have that many workers! The wait time at the establishment is very long. On multiple occasions when I came in 2-3 hours before the establishment closed I was forced to only have one service performed. Also they only have one tech that can do any specialized nail design. The establishment looks nice but they lack time management and respect for customers time. The second worst pedicure I've ever had! The lady doing it was sweet but first she made one of my toes bleed and whatever she put on it to make it stop bleeding burned like heck! This is a absolutely beautiful place to have your nail done and feel completely pampered. I went the first time to have a full set of acrylic nails done on a Sat it was late in the afternoon they were busy, when I left my nails looked so bad since it was late I couldn't call and decided to go back Sun to show them, of course they were closed and my luck they were also closed the entire week to follow so I had to go someplace else to get them fixed. When my nails needed a fill in I went back to The Nail Place to give them another chance again it was late in the afternoon and the fill in room forever!! The guy doing my nails put 5 coats of gel on 3 of my nails, yes 5 coats!!! I knew this wasn't right I said something and he said it just happens sometimes, hmmmmm never before has it. Like I said it was late in the afternoon and close to closing time when I finally got done, when I got in my car that's when I saw how bad my nails looked, the gel was thick, bubbly, he didn't clean around my cuticles, just a mess!!! The next day I called and they asked me to come back to have them fixed, they looked so pretty when I left this time until later that day!! The gel started peeling off!!!! OMG I have never had this happen before. The next day I went to another nail salon to of course pay more money to once again have my nails fixed, burn me once I will come back to give you a second chance, burn me twice, NEVER again! There was a 2 hour wait when I came in, which isn't unusual for a Saturday afternoon, and the receptionist took my number down so I could leave and come back when it was my turn. Let me start off by saying that I waiting for an hour and a half for a pedicure. During my wait I asked for a status update because I wanted to get coffee, she told me she would check and let me know needless to say, she never did. Once I finally get into the chair I wait for another 15 mins for the nail tech to get everything together and never offered me anything to drink.
