I went here a few months back and forgot to write a review, so here I am. She was very friendly and conversational and gave me some advice about getting rid of the fading dye in my hair. She even gave me a little bottle of shampoo for it. I first went here back in mid-late 2022, and her service and friendliness haven't changed. She's really good at short, edgy cuts, and stylists who can do that are kind of hard to come by. I drove 45 minutes to get here because there were none in my town! That drive was worth it, though. I have spent many months in the sun with a lot of UV damage to my hair (deployment) and she knew exactly what to do to get me back to my true color/self! I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2020 and since the.n have not found anyone that can cut or style curly hair. I found Belinda on Yelp and after reading the reviews decided to call her. I conducted a phone interview, asking her how she cut curly hair and her coloring techniques. After approximately 15-20 minutes, she asked for a current picture and a picture of what i was wanting. At this moment i decided I trusted her to give my hair a much needed cut. I was not disappointed. From the time I walked in the salon she made me feel at home. We discussed the cut and color. I showed her a couple of pics of colors I liked and she explained why one worked better than the other. She cut my long hair dry to the desired length prior to coloring and then cleaned it up after washing. While sitting in her chair, I learned she was a master stylist in New York and had taken numerous classes, to include a DevaCurl cutting class. I found Studio B through Yelp (thank goodness for being able to trust most Yelp reviews) about 1-1/2 yrs ago and never looked back. My hair is very short and chemically treated to platinum. Prior to moving from AZ to NY, the previous stylist had burned my hair because she just didn't know how to get past my rather stubborn dark brown, gray hair. Fast forward to the magnificent owner of Salon B (Belinda), who for all practical purposes is a wizard with ALL things hair (from color to cut to styling) and my hair and scalp have been healthy and perfect. Belinda uses only tried and true products that she knows to be safe and effective. You know how some hair salons change their products for purposes of selling and making more profit? I don't believe she does that. Belinda's prices are fair for her services and products so really you just can't go wrong. Not only that but Belinda also became a deeply valued friend over time. She's the real deal folks. Kind, warm, smart and savvy, and I must mention beautiful, too. So although I could go on and on I'll close this little review now especially as I've certainly not formed much in the line of appropriate writing form () but it is 5:30 a.m. after all. I have been here twice. Once for a simple trim--no layers and that turned out to be completely uneven. I ended up having to get my hair fixed when I went home for the holidays. On August 14th I decided to give it another try because everyone has off days. However, my second time turned out to be just as bad. Although hiding a bad haircut is much easier than hiding a bad eyebrow wax. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up, not thinned and she waxed one eyebrow too much to where now my brows are completely uneven. It looks horrible. She didn't charge me, which was nice, but now I'm going on a trip where my eyebrows look horrible. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. read more

So it's been about a week since I got my hair done by a little gem named Belinda! Every day since then I've fallen more and more in love with the color and cut that she did and I get more and more excited for what's to come for my hair having now found someone who's whole heartedly invested in making your hair look and feel great! Seriously could enjoy the pedicure talent of Krista every day if I lived here!! She works quickly but you never feel rushed or like she is rushing you through...which is one of my pet peeves...she caries on a great conversation, does AMAZING massage work on your feet, toes, ankles and lower leg!!! Not impressed with the facial. First, the elastic towel they asked me to change into was full of stains. Wondered if it was clean and had to smell it. For facial, I had to remove my own makeup. Rob was my stylist and he did an amazing job with my color. I wanted a change from all platinum blonde and I wanted more of an ombré feel. He did a great job on my color as well as my haircut. I was anxious to cut my hair but he was very reassuring by listening to me and making sure he knew what I wanted before beginning. I've had bad experiences with hairstylists who get scissor happy and cut too much and this was not the case at all.
