She examines to see what specialty products your skin needs; whether your skin is dry, oily, or special problems such as rosacea, like I have. The rosacea is much better; my skin was dry and is now much more hydrated and at 63, even though I've never smoked, I have been very self-conscious about the lines around my lips. Susan took me back to my room, and told me that the massage table had a red light feature and asked if I would like her to turn it on. I said sure! That would be great, thanks. Nothing else was mentioned and she flipped the switch to turn it on. She then left, I got undressed, and got onto the bed to wait for my massage. Halfway through the massage, she told me she was going to use cupping on my upper back because it was tight. I said okay. Susan never once mentioned it was an additional cost. Later, as I am up at the front desk checking out, (for the first time) she mentions that the red light on the bed and the cupping were an additional $30 combined. I was very confused, and said "I didn't know that those things were an additional cost." She replied and said "I know, I didn't mention it." Needless to say I was flabbergasted. Then she said "it's hard to talk about money when you're relaxed and on the massage table." (After I left I thought to myself, I wasn't even on the massage table yet when she asked me if I wanted her to turn on the red light feature.) Because of my confusion as I was checking out, she said she'd "do me a favor and discount the additional $30 cost down to $20." I was extremely uncomfortable, felt put on the spot, paid, and left. I couldn't shake the feeling of being taken advantage of, so I emailed her that night, explaining this and how uncomfortable I felt. I asked if she would be willing to refund me the additional cost, and only charge me for what I originally booked: an hour long Swedish massage. She ignored my email and the follow up email I sent 3 days later. I didn't ask her to do these additional things, she offered them up without disclosing the cost. And at no point during the online booking process were these things disclosed. You're given the option to add on the sauna or NSDR, both of which I declined. Such an awful feeling to have information kept from you throughout the entire process and then sprung on you last minute. I just hope this review can help prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

I had no idea where to go, so my husband started looking up different places and we found 912. I walked in and it was soooo different from the ones in PCB (which are designed for tourists. LOL) and I felt so out of place--but they came to the desk as soon as I got there, and they answered all my questions regarding my re-piercing. JayJay was the piercer and she showed me how she could tell they hadn't pierced my navel right the first time--going too shallow. She showed me how she pierced and why and she redid my piercing. It now actually looks right and it hasn't given me a lick of issues--not even anything crusty. LOL. While it was night and day from my experience in PCB in atmosphere and style, the quality of the piercing was much better. I only wish she'd given me the option of what color i wanted for the ring. But it is far more important for me to have a GOOD piercing, which I think I do now. Don't let the facility's rougher atmosphere and style, make you think the quality of the work won't be good!
