Our Island Comfort AC Technician MANA was outstanding!! He has such positive, calm, friendly, and kind energy! Our two dogs Toby Flanders and Koda Pinkerton loved him immediately. Koda kept following him around as he made repairs to two of our AC units. MANA even found an unknown leak in one of our AC units and fixed that as well! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and a lovely human being!! He and the whole company are truly spectacular! 5 Stars!! Highly recommended!! read more

Home Depot has a representative from Island Comfort in store, offering a deal we couldn't pass up. $29.99 for a 27 point check on split unit air conditioners. They were quick to respond, and we booked an appointment. Riley came by and cleaned our 3 units and did such a great job! To be honest, I was a bit leery at first, since this price seemed too good to be true! Riley did such an amazing and thorough job! 5 stars and highly recommended! This deal ends soon, so if you're in Home Depot you can sign-up there, or give them a call. Thanks Riley for your hard work!! read more

My experience with Lionel, whose is the project coordinator/estimator who came out this morning to give and look to give me an estimate on our HVAC needs was very informative, helpful, and most of all I really liked him cause it seems like he advocated for the homeowner who's about to make this purchase so I am very happy and very comfortable with my first meeting with Island Comfort A/C Contractor so I do recommend him as a person to go out and give estimates especially to my friends who I might refer to him. Thank you. read more

Thank you Adam and Rod for the awesome service on our ac units. They are very thorough in what they do. Your value in service stands nothing but the best! Thanks again for a job well done. read more

These guys are amazing!! My wife and I walked into Home Depot and they had a booth there. That's when we decided to give Island Comfort a try to have our AC cleaned. I'm so sorry I forgot the technician's name. He was super friendly, respectful and did an incredible job. He wore booties over his shoes so he didn't have to remove them in my house. He also covered my entire AC with a fitted plastic covering to capture the water and dirt. I never knew how dirty my AC was till he started to take it apart and clean it. (See the pictures) To think my wife and I were breathing in all this dirt and mold. I should have done this earlier and more frequently. After he was done we set up a bi-yearly cleaning. It's well worth the money for the clean air that you're breathing. If you have an AC unit give them a call!! read more

Salesman came out to give me pricing on replacing My central AC which died. Had 4 options ranging from $15,000-$35,000. I asked him to email me the pricing and features so I could review with my partner. He packed up and quickly left. Never got an email with any pricing. Had another contractor come in and do a fabulous job with a Carrier unit (top of class) for $13,000. read more

Our technician, Josh, was amazing! He came to do a preventative maintenance service on our unit & took the time to walk me through everything, explain clearly what services he'll be doing that day, and was even super friendly with our dogs! He was incredibly respectful, efficient & educational and we truly felt cared for and not just "another customer." Josh took pictures of the services he did to show us afterwards so we understood what to look out for and in general, great before/afters of what he cleaned. Hopefully he's the same technician we get again at our next maintenance service! read more

Excellent service! I'm impressed by this group from the office staff to the repairman to the salesman and the installation crew... absolutely perfect service throughout! Our old AC broke and it was gonna cost us some $$ to replace plus it gave us problems from the beginning. So we decided to take the plunge and just replace our old system. It was so refreshing to get such great service after the horrible experience we had with our original AC installation. That other company just never returned our calls and could never fix the issues we were having. Island Comfort came to our rescue and responded right away and got us scheduled with a new AC installation in less than a week. I'm so impressed by the professionalism of everyone and the installers were so respectful. Thank you!!! We'll be sleeping much more comfortably tonight! read more

We had a service technician, Blaze, come in to clean and check our a/c units. He was courteous and a good worker. He found that one of our units was not working, which I had noticed. So then, Lionel came over that same day and gave us a thorough presentation on the cost of replacing two compressor units, etc, (the second one was operating below optimal). He did a great job and was very friendly and open. Thanks guys. read more

My josh was extremely thorough from the time he came to our home and sat with us at the table until the time he was finished he kept us informed with everything he was doing, even took time out of his work to say a prayer with me and my husband Due to the fact, we just found out my son has throat cancer, such a wonderful young individual will definitely recommend to my family and friends who need a work to go on for Josh read more

Island Comfort installed two of our split unit air conditioners, the first in 2024 and the second yesterday (May 2026). Jeff gave us great recommendations both times to meet our needs and both installations were done very quickly and professionally! We love our air conditioners, especially in the island heat! We are also on their twice yearly service plans. Two units were serviced by Adam this week (he squeezed us in for the second one). Adam did a thorough job and is very nice to work with. He is very articulate and explained what he did, what he found, and made helpful recommendations. He was even nice enough to do a selfie with us! We are happy working with Island Comfort. We had a consult with the Project Manager Lionel, who came over for an assessment. He was prompt, efficient, professional, and approachable. He did not try to upsell us and justified his recommendations, which we concurred. Just FYI, they only sell Daikin (which was on our list anyways). His presentation was top notch. As far as pricing, they give you several options based on what features you want and they currently offer a 15 yr loan after 6 months of 0% interest. We had a handful of questions after he left so we texted him and his responses were prompt and to the point. Thank you Lionel! read more

Isaac and the team did a great job with our AC unit. When we were looking around, I reached out to a couple of companies for quotes and information. Island comfort was the first to get back to us within 24-48 hours. When scheduling for someone to come, Jeff came that same day and talked to us about what would work better for our space. He was super honest and gave so much suggestions to what we should get. Even when I asked questions for tax credit, cleanings. He explained everything. When it came to the service they could do it within that week which was great! We were in a damn hot box so we wanted it to be cold. Isaac and his team were communicating with me when they'd get here, since there's traffic totally understandable. They still came on time. They got to work and anytime they were going to start they talked to me what they are doing if I'm okay with this set up and so forth. Once the AC was on, we could feel the difference. All my kids are now sleeping in our parlor since it's so nice and cold. We are super happy with our system and we appreciate how fast, efficient, and smooth this whole process was. This was definitely worth it! Thank you Island insurance and your amazing team that helped us get our system! read more

I Had my central AC system installed on 10/15/25, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I reached out to island comfort on 10/12. Supervisor Donoven came to evaluate my old system on 10/13. He is very knowledgeable. He helped me to decide on the system which will be the best one to meet my needs. He took time to explain the system and answered my questions. Donoven and his crew (Matthew, Fearen, and Josh) arrived on time on 10/15. Three technicians are very good. They work efficiently and showed great attention to detail throughout the whole job. They helped to clean up the mess which was left behind by the prior technician I hired who failed the job completely. They are very polite and professional. They also cleaned up completely after finishing--the space is spotless. They make sure the new system is running perfectly before they left my house. Supervisor Donoven called me in the evening to make sure the new system is good. I am very touched. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and their technicians for anyone looking for quality HVAC work done right the first time! read more

The service provided was exceptional. I would enthusiastically award more than five stars if possible. My air conditioning unit was emitting a musty odor, and the technician, Mana, was dispatched to address the issue. Mana demonstrated remarkable expertise and professionalism. In June my husband reached out for an AC maintenance/cleaning. He confirmed via email the appointment details with Elizabeth and received confirmation. However, when the time came this company was a NO SHOW! My husband sent a follow-up email asking what had happened, but was told "Your appointment is on a hold status." She said you were supposed to re-confirm the appointment one day prior by phone or text. What?!?There were NO clear instructions given by this representative when we confirmed appointment details. It seems customers need to chase the service with this company. In any business, time is money, this is true for the customer's important time as well. There was NO accountability nor apology! This was a VERY unprofessional experience and I will NOT recommend this company due to unaligned customer service values and terrible business etiquette. Don't waste your precious time on this company!! read more

I set up an appointment for quote. Was called back and was told if we're not ready to purchase within 30 days they're "too busy" to come out, and would rather give a quote until we're ready to purchase within that time frame. I needed to get quotes from different places to make the best decision financially and we couldn't even get that from them because apparently we're not worth their time if we're not purchasing in 30 days. I scheduled an AC cleaning through Home Depot for $99. Additionally I scheduled a quote to get a new split. Just curious to see if they had really good pricing. They told me three times (once in-store and twice on phone) that the quote would take 2 hours and all owners need to be present the whole time. I asked why it takes so long and the girl said they may need to take measurements and go over financing if I want to finance. The day of, the scheduler called me and asked if they could come early I said yes. I waited 45 mins after the estimated time, and when they arrived I opened the door and was waving to them and smiling. The two guys looked confused. Maybe I looked weird? I don't know.. but they didn't say hi at first or give any acknowledgement. They didn't say sorry for running late either. I said my name and got nothing. I asked are you guys from Daikin, since they weren't saying anything, and they said yes, and I said okay you can come inside. Then they introduced themselves and shook my hand, but it was already too late and too awkward. They walked through to the room where I wanted the AC, then they looked outside. They asked if I would want this done tomorrow and I said no I'm not in a rush. They asked to see the panel for solar. I asked what he meant, and he said the breaker box, and I led him there. He opened it, then closed it, then got in his truck. At this time they've been on-site for about 4 minutes. I said "oh is that it? They told me that this would take 2 hours." He said, "yeah you seem like you don't want us here. Maybe you're tired or not feeling well." I said umm no I was just expecting you guys to be earlier and I still want to get the quote. So he asked, "okay do you want us to come back inside so we're not wasting your time. We can go over the numbers." I said yes. Then they came inside and pulled out their pre-laminated price sheet. I wasn't able to take a picture of it, but Bronze package started at $12k and platinum was around $23k. I don't know if this was just for one AC or two to be honest. Since they used pre-printed quotes I didn't understand the point of the 2-hour scheduled appointment when they could just show this price sheet to customers inside the Home Depot store. I said okay thanks I don't have any questions. Then they stayed for 35 more minutes asking why I don't want to get the AC now. I said I need to think about it and I'm getting other quotes as well. They asked me personal questions trying to break the ice, like what high school I went to and what I do for work, but I was just extremely uncomfortable and so were they. They asked if they should leave again. I was like yeah I don't have any questions. But they said they would also call tomorrow to schedule 2 free cleanings since we got off on the wrong foot. They also called their admin in front of me and told her to call me to schedule the cleanings, but nobody called. They never emailed the quote/details either. One of the guys said he was the general manager as well. read more

I would've given Josh C a 10 Star review if it had allowed me to. Why? From the beginning, when Josh and I first sat down and he began his introduction, to include showing me the pictures of his lovely family, his wanting to treat me and my wife and the work he was about to do as if he was doing it for his family was what really triggered my appreciation and satisfaction is this guy. I sincerely appreciate how Josh emphasized paying attention to DETAILS and doing the work right. This is evident in the fact that he paused and called on me several times throughout the job to point out certain deficiencies, defects and health concerns deriving from mold and mildew buildup over time. I really appreciate the fact that Josh didn't push or try to force selling me his services or products, rather, he explained the problem clearly, then openly gave me options to choose from. For that genuine concern and approach, my wife and I have talked and decided to choose Island Comfort A/C to handle our future home AC maintenance program. Throughout Josh's work, I was never worried about leaving him alone in the different bedrooms where the ac units are located. From our initial welcoming conversation, I sensed that Josh loved his family so much, and that he appreciated the opportunity to work and earned wages from Island Comfort Air Conditioning that he wouldn't jeopardize his livelihood over being dishonest. Josh, if at all possible, I would prefer that you service our air conditioner units in the future. Thank you for your fine work ethics and authenticity. I had problems with my a/c smelling. Mr. Ethan of Island Comfort inspected my 2 units. the living room, he said the front of the coils wasn't bad, the backside of the coils and the drop pan was filled with mildew. Being that I have children in my home Mr, Ethan was able to work with me to eliminate the use of chemicals. I highly recommend Island comfort to help with your air conditioning needs.
