What's more, Anthony was super patient with me as I asked lots of neurotic follow-up questions by email. On the day of the project (a Sunday, no less!), he came with a partner, calling about 45 minutes ahead to let us know his ETA. He and his partner were both courteous and respectful, and they both wore masks without me having to ask (this work took place in the age of COVID-19). Partway through the project, I threw in some last minute thoughts about a new TV antenna and Anthony graciously agreed to do that work the same day, for a very fair price. At the end of the project we realized that part of the WiFi system did not quite meet my initial expectations for specifications. Not a deal breaker, but also not what we were expecting. Anthony acknowledged the discrepancy and provided a fair discount to make up for it. The job he did was completed safely, and they made it look very clean in the end. When you're poking holes in walls, you always want to make sure it looks professional when all is said and done. Anthony nailed it. One of our smoke alarms starting going off almost a week ago. The batteries needed changing…read more Despite our best efforts, and even with the ADT rep on the phone, we could not get the unit to reset and stop the shrieking as we chnaged the batteries. Finally out of frustration we asked to have a technician out - cost = $59.95 just for coming out. He gets here today and after checking things out said we could not get the unit to reset because it was defective and needed to be replaced. So ... their defective unit we're still on the hook for $60+. While he was here we asked for the batteries to be replaced in all units so we didn't have to deal with this again. After going through the house he said we did not have ANY smoke alarms upstairs and wanted to charge $200 to place one up there. Walking upstairs I pointed to 3 that are hard wired in.When we called him on this he said yes, they are smoke alarms but not ADT alarms and I'm onlu concerned with ADT so if you're asking me you have NO alarms upstairs. Um, not true, but ok. Less than an hour after he left we had 5 CRITICAL alarms all trigger at exactly the same time. We called him to come back and he said it would be an addition $59.95 and it was probably that we had a radon leak somewhere. After 3 addiotional calls to the customer service number we have been denied our requests to speak to a supervisor. They agreed to send someone back out but informed us it may be the same man despite our saying we never wanted him back in our home again. At this point I just want to disconnect them and move on from his horrible experience. As soon as we can get a new life line medical alert system set up for SO we will be dumping them.

My first step was to seek four bids/quotes from reputable electrical companies in Denver Metro. In the process, I had the opportunity to speak to each of the four companies. The company that stood above the rest to me from the start was Altitude Electric. In my very first conversation with Jody at Altitude Electric, I learned so much about this process. Jody was very nice, knowledgeable, and provided me with the information I needed to make a good decision. Although my conversations and/or meetings with each of the other companies were fine. Jody at Altitude Electric had made a strong impression on me. After receiving all four bids, I was then pleasantly surprised to find Altitude Electric to be one of more competitive bids from a total cost standpoint. I scheduled for Altitude Electric to do the work. Prior to the day of installation, I received both emails and text messages of my upcoming appointment. Karsten and Dan with Altitude Electric came and worked on my subpanel from 11 am to 4 pm non-stop. Karsten is a perfectionist at his trade, and he and Dan paid attention to every detail to complete their job. I was so impressed with how they checked and double-checked to make sure everything was done right. After the installation of the subpanel was completed, Karsten took the time to explain to me how the circuits were transferred from my main panel to the subpanel. Karsten took time to label the circuits in my subpanel, and Dan moved my new generator to where it could be operated. Once this was completed, Jody called me to schedule Bear and James to come back out and run the power outage simulation with me. Initially, I had a minor issue with starting my brand new generator, but thankfully, Bear is a Generac expert technician. Bear and James got my generator running as it should and again walked me through the process of what to do when power goes out. The service teams at Altitude Electric took the time to help me understand how to best maintain and operate my newly installed system and gave me the confidence that my system will work when I need it. I believe they cared about me as a customer, and I trust them. I am so grateful to the high level of professionalism and expertise by their quality workmanship and attention to detail. The best part is I know that they will stand behind their work and are available if I need them in the future. This home project was an expensive investment considering the cost of the generator installing an electrical subpanel, but for the value in service that I received from Altitude Electric, I could not be happier.
