Club Lifetime, it's perfect. I am a working professional who goes to the gym in the early am (5:00-7:00) is the time I frequently go and my workouts are completed in a timely manner with room to hit the sauna if desired. I do know this is a family staple. there are many kids/teens during later hours but I avoid them easily with my regimen and timeframe! The price is great for a pool, sauna, classes and equipment. If your looking to be social, meet friends and more it's possible but to say this hospital affiliated fitness center is not clean as most gyms is ridiculous, if anything they are getting inspected far more than most centers being in relationship with UNC. Lastly because I have history here, the morning staff (Meg and crew your awesome humans) are the best, they get to know your name personally and help whenever needed! The sauna does not have split wood, I know bc I've been going for almost 5 years now and lastly it's worth every penny I can go to the gym as a single woman comfortably which is most important.

We would need to utilize the facilities a lot more, and with young children, that really limits us to the weekends. The other facilities are decent. There is an indoor track upstairs with various gym equipment throughout. There is a small halfcourt basketball court, some rooms for group exercises, and a sauna and steam room by the swimming pool. It's pretty kid and family friendly and the staff are generally pretty nice.

Wow.. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with this facility. After reading the 5 star reviews that had…read morehappened in the past, I figured it was great, however that was no longer the case. This facility looks great from the front (the storefront has 3 doors), making it look like a really big facility., however when you enter the facility, there is no one working at the front desk. The room to the side (on the right) is a padded room, where the pads do not even look like it meant to fit in that room) and is used for a Muay Thai class. you go through a set of doors behind the front desk and you are greeted by an unfinished looking gym where it is concrete and a loading dock door. It is very messy looking, and on the side is a small set of Mats where the jiu jitsu class was taking place. I don't remember the name of the instructor, however when i told him that my kids have had experience in the past, he brushed it off. When the class was over, my 2 daughters left saying they never wanted to go back because the instructor told one of the ladies on the side saying that there is no way that these girls have experience...in front of my girls (ages 10 and 13). that is very disrespectful. When they left, the instructor didn't even apologize for it. Just noted that when I tell someone that they are experienced in the future, that it should mean they know how to train properly. (on a side note), you can tell that this was not a real gym by the fact there was only 1 other child in the class (other than the instructors own kids). A little class, patience and respect goes a long way. This instructor definitely needs to understand that going forward if they plan on growing their business.

The proof is in the pudding - Forged Fitness produces competitors and fighters that dominate the tournaments in this area and beyond. I have had a blast learning BJJ. I plan on training at Forged Fitness for many more years. See you on the mat.
