(Basically, some Googling and a friend who used to work at a bike shop giving me some advice.) When I got in, I was helped by Jackson. He walked me through the different options they have while listening to what I wanted out of a road bike. He helped me find the bike I wanted that they had at one of their local locations, and let me know they could have it transferred to their location for me. Thanks so much to Jackson. I am the brand new owner of a Specialized Allez. I appreciated his competency and assistance. I also love that I now know a place where I can bring my bike for a tune up. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are starting to look for a new bike and feel like you don't have enough knowledge to tackle Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

Their selection is limited to 5 options, at most. The worst part of visiting this store is being ignored by the staff. No assistance offered. But they were quick to greet and help the next three guys who walk in the store (that looked like a cyclists). I'm slightly overweight and trying to get in to riding my peloton. So far successful enough to need new shoes. Nothing like being fat shamed in a cycling store. Shame on this place for being so unaccommodating. There are better options in the area. Not even a casual acknowledgement of being in their store.

It was priced perfectly and it was a ride worth saving to the memory bank. My friend and I got a great tour of downtown and this gentleman took the time to allow us to stop and take pictures at different places we passed and gave information about the different sites as well. He was funny, kind, knowledgeable, and I feel lucky to say I was the 1st person to shout out for him to stop and ask for a ride. This is perfect for people new to the city, couples wanting something a little romantic, or those wanting to get from point A to point B quickly with smiles. He was g enough to drop us off right where we wanted to go, Whiskey Bar. I very much look forward to getting another ride from him the next time downtown and just HAVE TO ADD but this creative young man took the time to find me after he realIzed my vape pen had been dropped and left on the seat of his invention. So let's add integrity to his list of good character traits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND spending the 20 or so dollars depending on the time and distance you wish for him to take you. It's a modern day magic carpet ride

She even took her out for a short spin to test out the bike. Since this was Haylees first bike without training wheels, we opted for the single speed model, trek precaliber 20". Love that they include one free service and they also have a trade in program. We will come back for all our biking needs!

The used car salesman tactic is not appreciated. I've had this happen to me three times so far, so…read moreat this point it's a pattern. I always avoid the Cary store whenever I can because I've been up sold on three separate occasions, a water bottle holder, a cleaning product, and a kick stand. The latter time, my current kickstand was actually insulted before they recommended a new kick stand. First of all, the covid measures are a little over the top. Making customers stand in the baking sun without acknowledgment for 15 minutes until someone comes to retrieve them is a little ridiculous. The store is quite large and everyone is wearing masks, why so militant about the number of people inside? There was never THAT many people trying to come in the store, and there is plenty of space to spread people out in the air conditioning. Trek's covid customer experience is far worse than any other triangle area business I've been to, including restaurants. If you can't figure out a way to accommodate customers better than you currently are, you should just remain closed until things get back to normal. Secondly, the upselling was tiresome and cringe worthy. Trying to get in and out of your store to accomplish a simple task is nearly impossible. I had an appointment to drop my bike off for routine maintenance service. My time was needlessly wasted as employees suggested a host of products I didn't want (everything from cleaning solutions to a new kickstand - because the associate mocked the existing after market kick stand that had been installed). It was a waste of my time and it's an uncomfortable experience for the customer. I could have been home and back to work 20 minutes earlier if I wasn't fending off your associates attempts to sell me your crap. You need to reimagine your entire customer service experience with the customer in mind.

I came in recently because I am looking to buy a new road bike. This will be my first road bike (and I am using for a triathlon) so I was asking a lot of questions (thanks Lars!). Who knew! While I didn't buy a bike that day, I learned a lot and am still on the hunt. They also have a bike repair shop where you can take your bike in to be serviced.
