I came to find a wine that I bought at USQ Wines that I was not able to locate anywhere in Manhattan, and this spot did not disappoint. To my surprise, I am greeted by two cuties named Fig and Biscuit, who are the dogs of each of the owners of the store. Not only was I able to find my rare wine, but I was also able to hang out with the cutie dogs, who were so affectionate and also territorial and protective of me (yes, ME as a guest in the store) towards other dogs that came in. I plan to come back and support this place due to finding my rare wine, their amazing wine selection I was able to browse, and also for the dogs. read more

Shane is wrong. this place is the cutest wine shop in bushwick. everyone who works there is so nice and helpful and knowledgeable about wine. they also have a really nice membership club. The vibes are awesome here. don't listen to Shane read more

I don't get the hype. This place is terrible. It has a very meager selection of wines, even compared to Henry's, Hana and Starr Wines. The selection is a lot of table wine (not from certified appeplations) from unknown importers, which are overpriced. Despite the small size of the store, it's hard to find what you're looking for, especially because they will reorganize the store from time to time. It's a small store that's usually empty when I walk in, but nobody who works here has ever offered to help me find something. I've seen them offer help to others, but I guess I'm invisible? All in all, I've come here like a dozen times and only made a purchase once. Usually, I can't find anything interesting, no thanks to the unhelpful staff. The one bottle I bought was mediocre and one dimensional. read more

Fun wine shop and probably the one that I would recommend if someone was in the area and wanted to pick up a bottle. Staff is super friendly and welcoming, always open to chatting/giving recs! They have a good selection of natural wine, much of which is very affordable. Believe they have a rewards program and know they have a newsletter if you're into that sort of thing and want to sign up. Also worth mentioning if you live in the area they have delivery :) read more

This is absolutely my favorite wine store in bushwick. Their selection of natural wines is extensive and unique, their space is sleek, but above all, the staff is super knowledgeable and is able to offer recommendations to inexperienced winos like me. read more

Small store but a great selection and excellent service. Best wine shop in Bushwick hands down, which sure, isn't a very high bar, but this place could hold its own in Williamsburg or Soho. 10/10. read more

Excellent wine shop with a large variety considering the size of the store! They organize their wines by price and type. You can get great bottles for $12-15! Plus, every employee who works there has always been super welcoming and willing to give recommendations. If you are taking wine to party, they have awesome suggestions for general crowd-pleaser wines! In case it's freezing cold or you are just feeling lazy and don't want to leave your couch they have a reliable and efficient delivery service within the local area. I have always received my delivery within 90 minutes, though sometimes it has arrived in 30-45 minutes - pretty awesome! Be sure to sign up for their rewards program in case you find yourself there on a regular basis. Lastly - I love that they are focused on sustainability and care about the environment. They offer paper bags, rather than plastic AND if you bring back paper bags in good condition they will take them back. I spoke to some of the staff and they said most people also bring their own reusable bags and don't even take a bag in the first place. Overall - a great Bushwick business I hope to continue supporting for years to come. Thanks Irving Bottle! read more

I don't remember life before Irving Bottle. Those were much darker times. But in all seriousness this place has something for everyone. Love cheese? They've got your back with free wine tastings and fancy cheese. Got a dog? No problem! Doggos welcome. Don't feel like leaving your apartment because you're like me and lazy as f*ck? They do free delivery. I literally have not tried a single wine from here that I haven't loved. Don't even get me started on the rewards program that gets you an occasional free bottle of wine. In short, best wine store in the neighborhood, hands down. read more

Such a great wine & spirit spot! I decided to check it out on my way to a BYOB dinner spot. They were playing good music and the staff was very helpful through my indecisiveness. I ended up with a yummy Tempranillo. I also stopped by during their Grand Opening party and got to try out a few wines and an amaro. This time I took home an unfiltered sauvignon blanc that I can't wait to try! You can definitely tell their selection was carefully thought out and curated. I know wine shops can be a little intimidating but the selection is easy to navigate by types of wine and price point. I don't think you can go wrong with anything they carry! read more

Great selection of natural wines, champagnes and liquor. Bit nicer than any other option in the neighborhood + super friendly group and a great reward system. + they deliver! read more

Amazing quaint bottle shop. If you go on Wednesday's they have wine sampling's. The sampling's are extremely enlightening and given by a very knowledgable staff. They have all sorts of wine, from expensive to even an under $15 table. Definitely recommend ! read more

Poor customer service! We always come here cause we enjoyed the hospitality and the service. However, my fiancé went today and one of the ladies today was HORRIBLE. She was rude and not helpful at all. She was rude by yelling to wear a mask and yet she wasn't understanding that he was scared of the two dogs at the door. Please teach her on how to listen to customers and communicate better. read more

Randomly placed great wine store. Came in as a recommendation of a friend and was sincerely blown away from the selection and friendly service. Some wine nerd stuff for sure, but even the $15 and under section was full of items that I love, whereas most shops throw 5-6 dollar at cost swill and hike up the price to make the most $ and take advantage. They happened to have the last few bottles of one of my favorite wines left, not being made anymore! Not telling you all what it is It's a real gem of a shop, and I'll come in more often! read more

Best small wine shop in the area - great overall selection of wines and spirits from around the world, table of under $15, and awesome weekly wine tastings. Only suggestion would be to add descriptions to the tags -- as someone not super confident when choosing wine, I find it helpful to have a brief description of each bottle, especially so I don't have to ask the sales folks to help (like, I don't want to ask them to describe 10 diff bottles to me!). read more

Great little store in Bushwick. They have wine in a lot of different price ranges for people of all budgets. They have a nice orange wine selection and a great sparkling section. Always have something cold. They're rewards program is great if you live in the area and stop by read more

There's one guy in particular that's pretty rude and unhelpful. Kind of disappointing since I was really excited this place opened. Might come back because of convenience but please talk to the staff about trying to be a little more friendly and helpful. read more

By far the best wine shop/ liquor store in Brooklyn, maybe even NYC. The carefully selected, craft bottles of spirits are just the coolest. Great designs and super unique. Wine selection is also extremely diverse and a lot of things I haven't found elsewhere. The staff is enthusiastic and very educated, I always walk out with more knowledge. For instance , I'd never heard of orange wine until I was introduced by someone at the store. Highly recommend- it may be a tad bit more expensive than the other places in the area but you're definitely paying for the quality. Well worth it ! read more

This place is kind of disappointing. So far the wine i have purchased is average, mostly seems to be overpriced imported product. I would stick to Hana - the wine is better, the prices are in line with the product offered (local or imported) and the recommendations are friendly and on point. read more

I don't know anything about wine (though I'm usually the one who gets sent to do the shopping) so I'm glad to have a store like this to shop at. Basically, they can translate my terrible descriptions of what I want to find something I like. They're also super friendly and welcoming of my weirdo kid. read more

I'm not much of a red drinker but last night I felt like trying something new so I asked one of the employees what would be a good red wine for someone who doesn't really like red wine. She gave me a few suggestions and I ended up picking one out (Isola del Satiro rosso) and loved it. Thanks for the suggestion! read more

My friend recently got a new job and I wanted to get her some wine to celebrate. Problem? She's knowledgeable about wine and I'm not. Erin (the manager) helped me pick out three bottles that spanned the traditional to the adventurous. And she didn't make me feel dumb in the process. My friend was pleased and so was I! read more

Yum! Beautiful store with beautiful wines and lovely spirits. I ended up with a delicious mezcal for less than the more generic one that I was planning on buying, and tried a new bourbon that is also delicious! Great rosé section as well. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff. Will definitely return! read more
