"Cutie" and his dad.
Giovanny G.

First and foremost this is one of the best experiences I've had when bringing in my fur-baby to a veterinary since coming back from St. Augustine FL. I'm not one to write but it wouldn't b right to experience such a warmth welcome knowing ur fur-baby is in the right hands especially since he isn't feeling well. It's reassuring knowing that the veterinary's best interest is the health and well being of ur pet. From Start to Finish, everyone I spoke to had a lasting impression on me. "Crystal" the receptionist I initially spoke to, gave me the feeling I made the right call in having (Irvine Pet Hospital) treat my fur-baby "Cutie" for many years to come. Cutie had an ear infection, and my primary goal was to get him the treatment he needed ASAP. Crystal was able to fit him in that same day considering they were fully booked. That alone to me shows the compassion (IPH) has for a fur-baby in need. "Lindsey", was the nurse who saw Cutie in the waiting room. Her love for fur-babies shows in the way she presents herself. The compassion and commitment (along with experience) proves she has the best interest at heart for a member of ur extended family (pet). Note: Cutie has severe anxiety and separation anxiety since he was abused as a puppy. It takes a while for Cutie to warm up to anyone because of his past experiences but Cutie was able to warm up to Lindsey quite quickly . "Again this doesn't just happen, animals r extremely smart and know whether to be fearful or not depending on the individual(s). or surrounding(s)." "Laura ", Cutie's Doctor ‍ was awesome and understanding of Cutie's condition. She was also very informative when it came down to how to treat his ear infection. To conclude: There r many places where u can take ur fur-babies to b seen, but if u also care about there well being and staff who cares about ur extended fur-family, Irvine Pet Hospital is the Vet for u. Bonus: They also work with Trupanion (Pet Insurance) which makes the experience so much easier for u and ur wallet.

Drove up from San Diego to this location based on a recommendation from a close friend. Was dog sitting an older Bichon with a nasty ear infection, and the place back home didn't cut it. We pulled up and the dog was nervous knowing we were at a vet place, but the staff was super warm and welcoming and he fit right in. First, Lindsey helped us out and she was amazing with the dog. Super knowledgeable and friendly, she handled tests and made sure our pet was safe and relaxed. Dr. Katia Martinho came out and was very informative and was very gentle with Toast. He left a vet place wagging his tail, thank you all so much!

Dr Peth and Lindsey were amazing. I was nervous taking my fur child to a new vet due to him being alil anxious with new people. They were very kind in regards to Coopers nerves (and mine). So happy to have found a place where Cooper is comfortable.

I brought my pup here for his exam & shots and the staff was great with him. My pup is very nervous at the vet but the staff knew how to handle him. I will be coming back to board and groom him here

I used to take my dogs here for grooming and for any veterinary concerns and the staff here have always been 100% especially during this pandemic. about 2 months ago I had to let one of my babies go due to old age/blindness and i brought her here to get put down and the doctors and the staff were all so kind and made the process a little more bearing. I appreciate the card they sent us in the mail with individual hand written notes about Nala. It was a really sweet gesture from everyone at Irvine Pet Complex. i still take my other dog here for grooming and he always comes out lookin so handsome

Sophie says thanks Dr.Maki

Been visiting IPC since 2005. 2 dogs, 3 cats. They are doing exactly what is necessary and not too expensive.

The groomers always come out to meet me and ask what I'm looking for. I've tried out other places in the area and this is the best place.

Prior to the stay, I was told first-timers get 1 week of free boarding. Knowing that we'd be out of the country for 2 weeks, this was perfect, on top of thinking the workers were nice. I also made sure they would be sending photo updates EVERY DAY via email and that there are cameras in the play area for us to check on him. As the front desk lady could tell, I made sure to make their lives easier, so I printed out 2 A4 sheets of things to know about my pup, being as detailed as possible so they wouldn't be confused about what to do since he's still a puppy. Two weeks later, we had to ask our friend to pick him up because they said no one could help release the pup on Easter Day. When they went to pick him up, both the bowl and the bed were missing, and they couldn't find them on the spot. They had to be delivered the day after, and ONLY because I made that phone call to confirm if they could find my puppy's bowl and his ginormous bed. During those two weeks, we clearly informed them that we would be out of the country and that SMS wouldn't work, yet they didn't remember until I emailed them, twice. Over the 15 days, I could barely see my pup on the camera, and I only received THREE email updates and one 10-second video of my puppy, which didn't even show anything meaningful. It felt like it was recorded just for the sake of sending something. One of the updates was also sent only after I emailed them the second time. Being told we'd be getting one week of free pet boarding for first-timers was WHY we chose to stay here. The staff also told us we could call for a refund if we were mischarged. Two weeks later, when we called, the lady told me they were going through reorganization, so workers were moving around, maybe that's why things were missing, and that the free first week only applied to daycare. I would have to speak to the manager about my concern. The manager obviously had the answer in mind and avoided my phone calls a couple of times, on top of my calls getting hung up more than 2-3 times during transfer. When she finally picked up, without hesitation to my question, she said she couldn't refund me for the first free week, but she could offer me a discount, or a free daycare day or some other discounts. Lol. What's the difference between giving me back a 1-week refund as your team promised versus a discount? Why not solve the problem instead of dancing around it? Why am I getting "punished" when your workers told me the wrong thing? Sure, you might lose a couple hundred bucks, but what's more valuable is that you're losing is a customer who will no longer trust your business, and the word-of-mouth effect that could've helped bring in more customers. As a business owner, you should understand better why pet owners trust you with their dogs and what they expect, especially in Orange County. Unfortunately, our first experience was horrendous and extremely disappointing. The level of disorganization and hassle is beyond disappointing. If you're looking for a pet boarding hotel, I strongly suggest finding somewhere else. Like the lady said, they're going through reorganization, so they might be too busy taking care of customers right now anyway.

You can tell they genuinely love animals. I appreciated that they don't just throw all the dogs together -- they actually do temperament checks first and pay attention to each dog's behavior and comfort level. The place itself was also super clean and organized. The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

There were so many nice touches from the welcome board, the pun-ny postcard updates and adorable photos, 24/7 webcam, the fact that they noticed my cat was a little skittish and brought her a little cat cave bed to hide in, the bird feeder outside, and the printed photo and catnip gift at the end... I also appreciated the easy online registration, informative emails, organized check-in/ check-out process, attention to detail, and the comfort of knowing an emergency vet was housed in the same complex. It was also evident that everyone who works there really loves cats. My cat really enjoyed the fur therapy, but she was a little too shy to partake in the play room. Maybe next time! All in all, we had an incredible stay and would recommend Club Cat without hesitation!
