I can't compliment Irvine Endodontics enough! :) Thanks guys...
Quell any doubts you have. All the 5-star reviews are incredibly well-deserved!! This place is great.
Read on for the full experience. Thankfully, I've only needed to come here once for a Root Canal, so I'll only talk about that procedure; however, I'll walk through the following factors:
1. Front-office Quality
2. Cost and Transparency
3. Procedure-specific Experience
4. Atmosphere
TL;DR -- If you need a root canal, leave your reservations at the door. Dr. Lee was incredibly professional with the chair-side manner of a seasoned vet -- assuring me of her confidence and expertise throughout the duration of the procedure. The office experience is quick and easy, with a variety of forms to fill out (as is standard practice). It's so streamlined and quick!
Cost is obviously variable and dependent on insurance, but the in-office manager worked with me to get a very accurate estimate on what I would owe. No surprises, just quality care, delight, and professionalism :)

1. Front-office Quality
- Dia is incredibly friendly and professional. She's willing to answer questions and help with the front-office paperwork.
- I should correct 'paperwork' to 'tablet forms', since this office makes excellent use of technology to speed up and streamline the process. I really appreciated that everything is done digitally -- they hand you a cool tablet that prompts you with the requisite forms. It's SUPER easy to get through and sign. If you're not a techie, Dia is available to accommodate + she's really sweet and professional, so you won't feel like you're bothering her.
- Really fast! You'll love this if you're experiencing discomfort. They can get you checked in and consulted in record speed.
2. Cost and Transparency
***caveat: this is obviously heavily dependent on your insurance, so make sure to be a respectful patient and familiarize yourself with your coverage before entering the office. Come prepared. These guys are busy, but if you take care of your business (as is standard for any practice) they'll take great care of you.
- After a consultation (again, check to make sure you're covered for this prior to your visit -- you're responsible here), you'll meet Bill -- the office manager -- for a "personal concierge" service as they reference on the site. He'll break down all the estimated costs and answer any questions you have around affordability or payment plans.
- You won't feel pressured into anything. In fact, you'll feel as if you're among friends who have your best interest in mind.
- Cost is as transparent as it gets; Bill lays it out for you and lets you know exactly what insurance is getting charged for as well as any potential variation in costs.
- What you pay for is what you get! The quality of service here is really, high and the price was really reasonable for me! I mean...super affordable for the level of dental work I received. Love this.
3. The Procedure: Dr. Lee is phenomenal!! She regularly checked on me and monitored my pain levels. She offered additional anesthetic when I made my early discomfort obvious. After this, it was a speedy process lasting just under an hour (~2:35-~3:30pm).
Dr. Lee was conversational, cool, calm, and collected. She communicated what she needed from me clearly and concisely. She was concise, yet warm. A job done incredibly well by a state-of-the-art dental professional.
Again, I can't thank her and the diligent assistants enough for making an otherwise arduous process feel enjoyable. Nobody likes going to the dentist, right? Somehow...this office makes you want to go back?! Yes, it's weird, but come here to get your dental work done and you'll understand. You'll never go back to anything less than this quality.
The post-op was fantastic as well. Despite having to stay later than usual, Dr. Lee was patient and walked me through proper care.
I was also provided with a sheet that explained how to care for my affected tooth when I got home.
Really appreciate that the office provided me with some Advil and water on my way out. You can just tell they care about quality and growth of the practice.
4. Atmosphere
Guys, the place feels like a resort spa. They definitely nailed the aesthetic quality of the office by making it feel as high class as the folks working in the office.
Music is a fair mix of jazz and low-key pop. They have a mini-fridge with complimentary waters for patients -- close proximity to the bathroom too if you've gotta go while you wait!
That's always a plus, right? I mean, it's not too close haha, close enough to be convenient...far enough to not be too close, ya know?
Anyway.
The office know how to delight you. The demeanor of the whole staff is even keel and warm, so you'll never feel overwhelmed or anxious or anything.
Especially nice when you have a painful toothache. Unparalleled! read more
