Not trustworthy.... Change heads without permission.....that is an unknown cost. Not interested in this business.

On time, fast and courteous. Winterized my system and didn't break the bank! Will definitely use them to open up and service me next season

Original irrigation system was installed by a small company whose owner retired and move south. So, we had used Irrigation Solutions for about 15 years and were usually around when the opening and closing of the system occurs. Very few problems and never had to deal with people at business end. Shock of our life this summer, the system which had been working fine previously all of a sudden was deemed inoperable and that the "Solenoids" had to be replaced. We were never consulted on the problem and work proceeded ahead with a $900. bill. I understand that work time and repair can be costly, but I was never advised of the problem or the eventual cost. If so, I might have just used my portable sprinkler system. Overall, three visits were made to the house before there was any functioning system. The system was completely changed to water two areas ---one at a time for a pre-determined amount of time. I had preferred the system of individual turn on for the sprinkler heads because of the differing plant growth. After three visits and service charges, I was talking to one of the servicemen about a distinctly dry area of my lawn and then he laughed and said," Oh, he had missed two or three individual sprinklers! Never knew they were there." Both my husband and I have spoken to Joe, whom I guess is a manager, and he was rude, condescending and insulting, with a frequent loss of temper. Everything was our fault, we did nothing but complain, upset the office, himself, and his wife by our phone calls that just requested explanations of what these unknown "Solenoids" were and was especially antagonistic towards me when I questioned the 3 visit service charge. I did not complain of the price of the work or rates of the workmen ---but I did mention that I should have been informed beforehand of the sudden extent of the work. I also questioned why it was necessary for three service calls to even get the system started. Throughout the entire conversation he was rude, condescending, hurtful and told us he was cancelling our contract for "closing the system" at the end of the summer. Once again, I mentioned our 15 year history with the company, but he kept on yelling and condemning the time he had to spend explaining sudden charges on the phone. I would never, ever use them again, and am still in somewhat of a state of shock. If you do use them, make sure all work performed is pre-approved by you, as well as the pricing and try to be there yourself, or have a reliable other person stand in for you, to monitor what work is actually being done or needs to be done. In short, make sure what they state is factual and visible. read more

Joe, the owner, told us we needed to replace our entire sprinkler system, to the tune of $5K. Another company came & simply re-set the clock for $150. He is never available by phone and altogether unpleasant & dishonest. read more

Had requested a proposal for a 5000 square foot property and rather than a face to face business deal a proposal that was so out of wack appeared in my mail box.Three other well known companies came to me with a proposal from $1600 to $2200,however Irrigation Solutions saw fit to think i was among the rich and stupid with a proposal from almost $4200 to cover the same area as others found.In speaking with the owner who defended this outrageous joke with what if and drip lines etc.In short people do your research with several firms before allowing this company to make a fool or try to make a fool out of you and your wallet.I gave one star because there was no option for no stars. read more

Irrigation Solutions always sends professionals to do the job. All of the technicians I've encountered had excellent knowledge of the irrigation system and did the job to my complete satisfaction. twice told me my clock needed replacement when it worked perfectly after I went myself to check. Joe S, the owner made some excuse why it was not working when his men were there. I don't care what his excuse is, the clock worked smoothly when went to check myself. He probably figure if you are not there, he can say whatever he wants. Joe is not pleasant to deal with. Very condescending attitude and offensive as if I was born yesterday. Be wary doing business with them when you do not live at the house because you are not there to make sure what they tell you is the truth. the first time, I give them the benefit of the doubt, but a second time? hmmm..makes you think twice. read more

Called them last year with an emergency to replace heads that were not working in June and was told they were not taking any new clients. Why advertise on TV if you are not taking any new clients. If you do use them catch them early or you might get the same response. I will never use them. read more

I called around to some local sprinkler companies and Irrigation solutions was the only company to answer my call right away. The girl who answered Katey.. was very friendly, helpful, and very informative. She gave me prices and an appointment next day. The men came and were very professional and knowledgable. They fixed my issues and gave me a few recommendations to improve my system also. Yes, their prices are slightly higher than their competitors but like they say, you get what you pay for. My invoice came shortly after the service and I was able to pay over the phone. I highly recommend this company! A++ read more

I have been using irrigation solutions for many years to service my sprinkler system. They are always prompt and reliable and do a great job in general. Last night we realized we had a sprinkler close to our home that wouldn't turn off. We called at 9pm Saturday night and they had a crew here the following morning at 8am to fix it (a Sunday!!). I don't know anyone else in the hamptons that's able to provide such prompt and reliable service over the summer season. We really appreciated it and will use them for as long as we own this home! read more
