Hired them July 2016 for a smaller job ($5k) for a border of ferns.He did not use new plants but transplanted plants from somewhere else ( weeds and all). Within 2 weeks the ferns looked dead. (I'll spare you the photos. Nursery owner told me the plants were in shock and would revive next year just be patient. I told him I'd pay when the ferns bloomed. I did wait a year and paid August 2017. In meantime he filed a lien against my house cause I wouldn't pay for ferns that looked dead for a year. There are a lot of reputable nurseries out here so choose one of them instead.

I ordered a cord of wood. Paid in cash as they expect. That's fine. They delivered a little more than half a cord and refused to deliver the rest. despite it already being paid for. When they dropped the firewood, I told the driver it didn't look like a full cord. He insisted it was. When I stacked it, it was quite clear it was slightly more than a half cord. I called, was asked to send pics and measurements. I did. it was clear. Chris's response? I've been in business 35 years I don't make mistakes. And he's yelling. Because that's what you do to a dissatisfied customer. You yell . And you dont correct your error. You hang up on the customer. And in later convos he denies his earlier statements. Gaslighting. And yelling. Over a half a cord of wood. Cheating a customer for $130. Over his mistake. Class act. (Insert eye roll here) Avoid this guy. His ego makes him difficult to work with.
