It's reasonably priced as well. Unfortunately, due to COVID the childcare program is on pause for the time being. Re gym fees, they have first responder discounts. There are different options to pay such as monthly fee, drop in fee, a 10 pack class. I like the ease of the app the gym uses so you can safely check into classes. During COVID, there are only so many people that are allowed in the gym at a time. The staff really do go above and beyond to keep everything clean and I feel very safe working out here. I love the atmosphere of this gym. The coaches are so good; they're motivating, professional, knowledgeable, and really help you get the best workout possible. The staff and the patrons alike are friendly and welcoming. If you're thinking about joining CrossFit, you should check out this gym and call to try it out. I believe the first class is free, so there's really nothing to lose. The equipment and machines are up-to-date and modern. I would recommend this gym to any friend.

This shit is easily accessible, clean, and has easy parking. It is not a globo gym, nor is it simply an iron fitness. There is space for what you need if it's a casino workout, or you're dropping in for open gym or individual weightlifting session. Coaches run classes on time, one hour, which is not the experience that I have had other community style gyms in the past in the area. American flag over the door, attentive coaches and community, never asking for reviews online (a great plus!), accessible in ten minutes or less from JBLM, Lakewood, all the way up to Ruston. The workouts were fine, but I have a back injury that sometimes limited what I could do and occasionally required me to cancel. I ultimately decided to cancel the rest of my package, which left me with one unused training session. Unfortunately, I was given a short window to use it, and due to my medical issue, I couldn't schedule in time. I requested a refund for that final session, but Ashley declined, citing her policy. While I understand policies exist for a reason, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and compassion, especially since she's mentioned having similar injuries herself. It felt like the $85 meant more than maintaining a good client relationship -- especially considering I would have continued with over $3,700 in future sessions. Sadly, this experience lost her a long-term client, and I won't be returning.

I didn't find a connection with a reason to keep me motivated. I like how brand-new the Lakewood branch is, I hardly ever had to wait to use equipment, and I liked the location and cost. We signed my daughter and husband up, and they joined with the $25 black-card rate where you can bring a friend for free. My daughter loves the tanning beds and I like going with a buddy, so I ended up canceling my membership, as I wasn't as self-motivated. The staff here are kind, I asked about some people filming as it made me uncomfortable, and the staff were great in handling customer complaints. There's a lot of TV screens and cardio equipment, but I'm a swimmer and there's not a pool here. I never had to ever wait for a cardio equipment to open up, it was available every time I'd visited. There's ample weights, but mostly machines. Some dumbbells, and benches, I did have to take turns during busy times with that, but it wasn't a big deal. Lots of mirrors and cleaning spray/paper towels. My lower rating is I didn't feel any kind of connection here. No classes to help motivate me, or personal greetings upon check-in, so my overall experience was meh. And I didn't walk away feeling excited. In fact, I stopped going. For months I'd paid without going once! And for me, I want a body transformation or a great experience by joining a gym. The best thing about this gym is the cost.

The pricing however, not honoring legacy members after years of being part of the community, was a little ridiculous, since many gyms around will only raise rates for newcomers, not legacy members. Also, the personal training is really expensive and doesn't roll over, which is really awful, because everyone has lives and responsibilities and sometimes the gym and personal life clashes. I don't think it's fair to punish people who have a harder time scheduling sessions to lose out on a lot of money.
