I love Doxsa! I have tried other CrossFit gyms before and nothing is like Doxsa. This gym is a family and that's my favorite thing. Everyone encourages each other and genuinely care how everyone's lives are going. Gym: Great size, not too big not too small. I love that it is an open gym and not set times. Sometimes when you come in it's not right at the top of the hour and that's ok! Owners: Kevin and Tori are the greatest! Since day one they've been so nice and helpful. When I was doing my first AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge, both Tori and Kevin took the time to look over my food/workout journal and help me flourish throughout my challenge. They're always there with big smiles and that "Hey how you doing today" positivity! Coaches: AMAZING! I love the coaches!!! All of them are extremely caring and helpful. If you are having problems with form, they gently correct you until you get it right. I love that they encourage you all the way thru your workout and after! Workout: Shorter but challenging. I love that I can get a workout in about 30ish minutes and feel like I worked out. If you can't do certain parts of the workout, it can always be scaled down. If you need more after the workout, you can always stay and do more! The coaches can always give you a nice extra workout. Other: I love that I can talk to the coaches and other members about my goals and they help me meet them. I was training for the Warrior Dash in July and got lots of tips with food and exercise that helped me be successful. Now I'm getting ready for my honeymoon and the coaches check in on me and see how I'm doing and give me advise on meeting my goals for that! read more

Words can't even express how much Doxsa has changed my life. I learned about Doxsa about 2.5 years ago. I was about 35 pounds over weight and had never done anything like it before. By having Crossfit in my life and changing my eating habits to a healthier lifestyle with Advocare I successfully lost over 35 pounds. I've never really been happy in my own body. BUT now I couldn't be happier. I have now gained about 20 pounds back BUT of muscle. Doxsa isn't just a Box/Gym it's my Family. Kid friendly! There is a place for the kids to play while parents are doing the work outs. The community and members are incredible! Everyone cheers you on during the work outs no matter if you're first or last to finish you get cheered on. All work outs can be modified for Members. So if there is a movement you can't do they will be sure to find a modified movement for you. The Owners and Coaching staff are pretty amazing! They also have a Barbell program I have been utilizing over the last 6 months and have increased my PR (personal records) 25-75 pounds. They have Monthly Community gatherings, Holiday functions, Camp trip during the Summer, and help out the Community with different places in need. This is a place I can call home. It's hard to put into words how amazing I think the Doxsa crossfit is. I only regret not starting it sooner as I had so many fears that being a small girl, I would not be able to achieve the success at the work outs or weight lifting. Never once did any coach or person in the gym make me feel like I could not. In fact they pushed me more and harder then I thought I could ever do. Looked me in the eyes and told me flat out you CAN. You dont get that kind of support, encouragement and accountability from a standard gym. Today I can do things I never thought were possible and Im stronger, leaner, healthier and faster at 40 then I ever was in my early 20's. If you ever thought that "Im not the right body type for that", I challenge you to prove yourself wrong and give them a chance. They wont let you fail. From a parent prospective let me add that the place is super kid friendly. There is a free kid room where all hang out and windows where they can watch their parents. If you are hesitant to try crossfit then this is the place to start. This place will change your life from the first day. I don't know of any gym where you are cheered on and coached by every person in the place. I've witnessed Coach Taylor stay with and encourage a person through an entire workout until she was done; Coach KC and Kevin push you to drive yourself to do your best so you get top results and won't let you talk yourself out of it. That is exactly the kind of motivation I need and I know there are many people who need the same. On top this you also get excellent nutritional coaching. I've been going here for a little over a year and love it. I got bored with the gym but was concerned if I started crossfit I would lose gains on my powerlifts. I couldn't have been more wrong and just got stronger. The coaching is awesome and nutritional information I've gotten has totally changed my body and mind about what healthy eating is. I have visited Doxsa CF multiple times while in the Buckley area and have always had a great experience there. The athletes and coaches are very welcoming, the gym is clean, very military friendly, and the coaching is professional.
