They have a great selection of cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. AND of course anytime tanning that comes with your membership. It's always spotless clean and the members are all ages and all fitness levels. Intimidation would never be an issue here. The owners own the Buckley and Orting locations and I've worked out plenty of times at both. They both rock. In fact, I think I'll post this review on both locations. Also, with your Anytime Fitness membership, I love that I can visit any Anytime Fitness location around the country for no extra charge. This is great because I travel often. If you try to call them during business hours, they will never answer the phone (attempted to call numerous times on different days) and their voicemail box will be full so you can't leave a message. This anytime location has such poor business practices and does not care for their members any more than the money that members provide them. If you are thinking about this gym, DON'T JOIN. Choose a different option because this location will make their best attempt to scam you.

This summer, my 13-year-old daughter has been spending a few weeks with me, and I've brought her along to my workouts. Yesterday, my dongle was denied access to the facility. I called the number on the door but received no answer. I later received a callback from Ken Evans, who informed me that my account had been suspended for "tailgating." I explained that the individual entering with me was my daughter, but he stated that this was against policy. Frustrated, I responded--admittedly not very politely--that if I couldn't accommodate my responsibilities as a single parent, I'd prefer to cancel my membership. Ken replied by telling me he was also a single dad and dismissed my concerns as "crap." Eventually, we agreed that he would send me the necessary instructions to proceed with cancellation. I can't help but feel disappointed by the lack of flexibility in this situation. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but I also believe it's not unreasonable for a parent--who is a paying member--to bring their child along briefly during a summer visit. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think it's unfortunate, especially given that I've brought additional business to the gym in the past.

I decided to peek inside out of curiosity and was surprised by how clean and organized it was. I was approached by one of the staff who explained the available services and described some equipment features. I was of course skeptical of any gym that charges based on a reoccurring "membership" having been locked into some nightmare past memberships at other gym franchises however, everything at this location was explained completely and in a straight forward way. I left that day with my own "key" to the front door and since then have had no regrets. There are no hassles, no sales people bothering anyone, no bad attitudes, everyone is friendly and polite. The equipment is top of the line with adequate free weights and benches for all. The staff are more than happy to answer any and all questions. I would recommend this location to anyone who is serious about achieving a fitness goal and maintaining it.

Its been over a year and I have yet to see a deep cleaning in the bathrooms. The work out area is always well kept and very clean but the bathrooms is a completely different story. The shower walls when wet are very slippery. The walls are disgusting with grime, mold, and dirt. The shower curtain looks like it has black mold or some sort of mold. The drinking fountain has built up scum around it. The bathroom stalls have dirty filthy floors that do not have quality cleaning around the edges. I have been a new member for a few weeks now, and it is easy to see they have no regular or quality cleaning schedule or program. I am in nearly every day and the shower floors continue to build up scum, hair and debris. In the last few weeks I have been here, there is no way they have been cleaned once. Most mornings they have 3 associates behind the counter. Just chatting and doing who knows what. They are polite greeting you and telling you to have a nice day when leaving... If you are desperate for a club near you in Bonney Lake, then bring your water shoes/aqua socks because you do not want your bare feet on those bathroom floors. For the expensive monthly black card dues, this should be a cleaner club. Myself, I will likely be cancelling my membership before the 2nd month dues. I don't want to get sick from catching something.
