Recently, it was her birthday, and not only did her staff celebrate her, but clients like myself joined in by decorating her desk area with flowers, candy, and heartfelt touches. That alone says a lot about the kind of person she is. Sabrina goes above and beyond every day to make the gym both beneficial and fun. I've seen her participate in different classes so she can speak knowledgeably and honestly about them. I've watched her walk through the locker rooms with staff to ensure the facility stays clean and well cared for. She even spends her own money on thoughtful extras, like decorating mirrors with positive, uplifting, and motivating messages. Most importantly, Sabrina always has a smile on her face, and everyone knows her desk is open -- whether you want to ask about personal training, equipment, the facility, or simply share a story and a laugh. It was relentless pressure. Look the place is ok it had some down machines and clearly many people did care to wipe down after sweating all over it. And the employees looked more interested in hitting on some of the members than helping someone who had a legitimate question about properly using a workout station. I poked my head in the dressing room and lockers. It didn't look great so no thank you. Even after saying no in multiple they keep calling and i have asked that they stop. This was horrible and I will not join a place that pressures people to join then ignore them on the floor and can't properly maintain the equipment and keep it sanitary.

It's reasonably priced as well. Unfortunately, due to COVID the childcare program is on pause for the time being. Re gym fees, they have first responder discounts. There are different options to pay such as monthly fee, drop in fee, a 10 pack class. I like the ease of the app the gym uses so you can safely check into classes. During COVID, there are only so many people that are allowed in the gym at a time. The staff really do go above and beyond to keep everything clean and I feel very safe working out here. I love the atmosphere of this gym. The coaches are so good; they're motivating, professional, knowledgeable, and really help you get the best workout possible. The staff and the patrons alike are friendly and welcoming. If you're thinking about joining CrossFit, you should check out this gym and call to try it out. I believe the first class is free, so there's really nothing to lose. The equipment and machines are up-to-date and modern. I would recommend this gym to any friend.

I came into your gym and cancelled because I moved to Shelton. I was within my right to cancel under these circumstances and there were no issues when I did so. You sent multiple letters asking for my returned business. This is a dead issue as 5 YEARS has since passed. It's time for you to move on and work on ways to maximize profit that doesn't include attacking past members for fraudulent unpaid dues. Good luck to you and your establishment. I'm so happy I decided to stop at this YMCA. I became a member in September. I signed up at the one…read morein Kent since it's extremely close to my work. My daughters and I do enjoy going to the Kent location however this YMCA has become number one in my list so far. I was very impressed, it's big and there's plenty of parking. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful when registering. In the entrance they have a satisfactory machine which lets them know how your day was, near the daycare area there's a prayer box and a suggestion box. If I had younger children I'd be excited to leave them at a very neat daycare area, on a sunny day they let them play outside in a secured area. It looks clean and very well organized. They have lots of machines to choose from, I love that their workout machines have personal fans. Loved the weights area, it is spacious. There's plenty of everything Dumbbells, weight balls, mats, bars and space. I was very impressed and happy that I didn't have to wait to use anything. The Zumba class was great. They have lots of different classes and water aerobics to choose from. The pool area, basketball, track and racket ball room was great too. The lounge area was neat, they have comfy couches and vending machines. The gym has TVs everywhere and music playing which was very enjoyable. The changing rooms, bathrooms and locker areas were absolutely clean and dry. They have stools for the kids to be able to reach the sinks. The lockers are very roomy, made me happy. They have hairdryers available and plenty of mirror space. The customers all seem nice and respectful. Honestly I have yet to find something I'm not pleased about, I would definitely recommend this gym.

Misleading sales tactics and terrible customer service…read more I came in for a free pass I saw advertised and was pressured into signing up after being told I could cancel and get some money back if it didn't work out. That was not true. When I tried to cancel, I was told I missed a 3-day window that was never disclosed--and I was even blocked from canceling sooner because they don't process cancellations on weekends. Staff was rude, dismissive, and took zero accountability. After reading other reviews, it looks like this is a pattern. I've escalated this and will be filing formal complaints if it's not resolved. Be careful--get everything in writing. Especially all you new NWFIT members. Careeeeful
