Parking was across the street for free for customers. $9, session $4 skates. Not only for our growing generations but the ones that enjoyed them as kids as well. It's a great place to be oneself and free. To enjoy music And a form of dance; just on wheels. You can enhance your balance abilities , you can gain encouragement in yourself. It's not a Team sport, so you determine your skill level. But it's fun. Kids love it. Adults also. Great for families. The rink itself is in good condition and the amenities are all in place: skate rental, lockers, concessions (accessible on skate). They have party rooms but seem to be currently under construction. Big improvements are on the way from the looks of it. Where this place really went above and beyond for us was a last-minute kids birthday party. Originally we were going to host at home and then go the rink but plans abruptly changed and Coachlite came through! They setup tables for us and made us feel very welcome. (Thank you!) I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a fun as you recall from childhood and I urge you to go if you haven't taken the family yet. You'll love it!

Coachlite is about to close, temporarily, for renovations until October 2025. But I look forward to visiting and seeing the renovations completed. It is definitely a dated facility, but a fun place for kids and big kids alike. The staff here is wonderful to work with for parties, events, and fundraisers and they definitely seem to enjoy what they do. Thank you, Coachlite!

While the other rink has a bit more nostalgia, I still have fond memories here too. It's not what it once was, but it still gets the job done for the basics of an ice rink. There is plenty of space all around, whether its the lobby, stands or locker rooms. It is sad that the Jerry's Pro Shop is no longer (thanks COVID), as well as the arcade that once existed in the first room to the left when you enter. I cannot speak on any of the specific programs (i.e. Renegades) since its been over a decade since I last played, though I've been few times here and there for public skates. Pricing for that seems reasonable, though I've had my own blades to use. The only negatives I could mention is that the Men's restroom is in a bit of disrepair, and that's why this review is down a star. Otherwise, it's still the same I as I remember. It's also a shame that they don't seem to have tournaments a lot, since they certainly have the space. Happy skating!

Some Wednesdays they have discount pricing - it was $6 to skate, and $4 for rental of skates. All of the employees I encountered were very friendly, there is some quick service food/candy items and a mini arcade inside as well. The whole place looks like it's straight out of the 80's (which is a good and bad thing I guess), it could definitely use some remodeling inside. But other than that, it's a really fun time if you're into roller skating.

We enjoyed our first visit to this very nice Glenview Community Ice Center.  A major $30 million…read morerenovation was completed on it back in 2020, but I never saw the former facility, only the current brand newish state.  It has two NHL sized hockey rinks and a 2nd floor grandstand along with a small bar for one of the rinks.  It also has a pro shop, training rooms, and offers the usual skating classes and hockey programs.  They currently have a couple hours of public skating during each day of the week and that's what the grand-darlings and their mom came in for during a school holiday today and we took the opportunity to visit.  They have a family pass and it only takes 3.5 visits to break even on that pass, so it's a good deal at a first rate facility.  Visiting here brought back memories of the many hours we spent in the stands of the Skokie Skatium ice arena and a Houston ice arena as the parents of a youth figure skater, and I can attest that this is a very nice facility.  Big thumbs up!
