Some Wednesdays they have discount pricing - it was $6 to skate, and $4 for rental of skates. All of the employees I encountered were very friendly, there is some quick service food/candy items and a mini arcade inside as well. The whole place looks like it's straight out of the 80's (which is a good and bad thing I guess), it could definitely use some remodeling inside. But other than that, it's a really fun time if you're into roller skating.

The rink itself is in good condition and the amenities are all in place: skate rental, lockers, concessions (accessible on skate). They have party rooms but seem to be currently under construction. Big improvements are on the way from the looks of it. Where this place really went above and beyond for us was a last-minute kids birthday party. Originally we were going to host at home and then go the rink but plans abruptly changed and Coachlite came through! They setup tables for us and made us feel very welcome. (Thank you!) I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a fun as you recall from childhood and I urge you to go if you haven't taken the family yet. You'll love it!

Coachlite is about to close, temporarily, for renovations until October 2025. But I look forward to visiting and seeing the renovations completed. It is definitely a dated facility, but a fun place for kids and big kids alike. Upon approaching the door the area is clean and clear of any hazards. Once you walk into the building you are in an open bright colored room with information posted, and it appears your will need to be buzzed into the next set of doors. Upon entering into the rink area to the right in an area to purchase skates and/or skate accessories and next to that is the concessions. Just a couple of steps from the concessions is the washrooms. Then coming back there are tables and just past those is the right. Dj booth is in the front as well. Going straight through the door there are games and moving past those is the prize area and skate rental area. The beverages are over $3.00 and some change each, but they sell the pitcher for a little over $6.00. They offer pizza and snacks as well. We ordered the nachos and fries. The nachos which were good, but those fries, they were so good. This group rented the whole place to enjoy their birthday and is was very nice. Employees were both very kind and fast. They use great colors, bright. Makes it fun!

COVID has been a little tricky for hockey, but Canlan is killing it with their protocols…read more We've been at the arena for about five years and even through it's ownership change, they continue to surprise us with the level of attention and courtesy they provide. Coach Dennis is doing a great job of keeping our families up-to-date with options and we were super excited to see Coach John and Coach Vince back on the ice! If you're looking for coaches who remember your kids names and individualize their progress and assessment... this is the place. From a cost standpoint, this club is a little more expensive than some in neighboring towns, but the facilities and coaches are worth the added expense. For those concerned about COVID protocol, all the coaches wear masks on the ice and there is no player contact for the squirt and mite skill sessions. Right now, there's no in-house league, which is understandable, but sad. We hope that there will be progress toward that end in the future. I highly recommend this arena, especially for your youngsters just starting out.

Tonight(03/14/26), I had been told to leave during the adult skate. My mother had gotten yelled at for trying to go on the skating floor as well. He asked me for my ID and I gave it to him. He proceeded to call me and my mother liars. I know for a fact that he let's children skate during adult skate. We did not get a refund and he did not offer one. Another issue is the bathrooms, specifically the women's bathroom as I have no reference for the men's. I have a disability and although I usually manage, I had used the accessible toilet. I had noticed that there was only a railing behind the toilet which I could not reach. Also during the session, a kid touched me inappropriately and smiled afterwards. I do not feel safe at Xtreme Wheels. I am afraid to go back now because I feel as if I will be banned permanently.

My 8-year-old was surrounded by a group of unsupervised 13-year-olds who tripped him and struck him in the back of the head. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, I was told that drop-offs are permitted, and no action was taken to remove the older children involved. Despite three witnesses confirming what happened, staff chose to side with the teens, accepting their explanation that it was an "accident." When the manager confronted the group, I saw them laughing, which gave me the clear impression that the seriousness of the situation was not acknowledged. Additionally, there seems to be a general lack of enforcement when it comes to the rules on the skating floor. At times, it feels like skating at Xtreme Wheels is a free-for-all. Families are trying to enjoy their time, but they're often sharing the space with unsupervised kids running around without accountability. I believe that if floor rules were more consistently enforced, it would create a safer and more enjoyable environment--especially for families with younger children.
