Sat down got a water and lemon and my coworkers ordered various other beverages. Server came by and I was gonna order the machete but we were on a time crunch so ordered 4 tacos. 2 lengua and 2 carne asada. They came i about 10min later. My first mistake was putting that dark brown/red sauce on one of the tacos cause the heat totally downed out the flavor. Other than that the place gives you free chips wish they has like a salsa Fresca not just the pot salsa which was pretty good anyway. Regardless my coworkers got some caldo, firearms tacos which were damn good and some enchiladas I think. All I all I would come back just for the free chips and salsa the tacos were good also Tacos 5 outa 10 Birria tacos 8 outa 10 Chips and salsa 3 outa 10 Everyone liked their food and later that night some more coworkers went by after we told them about it.

The cup is massive (see pic). All the dishes came with delicious sauces and a super small side of veggies. The orange sauce is flavorful, but so soicy, at least for my wimpy a$$. The tacos came with refried beans and Mexican rice and everything was very tasty. I don't go to enough Mexican joints to compare places, but I did in fact, enjoy this place very much. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we got. We will definitely be back. Staff are friendly and patient. This place can be easily missed especially it being in the middle of the busy and fast intersection of Villa Maria and E. Villa Maria. If you miss the driveway then you'll end up having to turn around and it's such a hassle especially with all the stupid construction going on there. Fortunately I was greeted with an energetic HOLA! at the other end and upon recognizing my broken spanish, they immediately pivoted to english to take my order. I went with a fish taco, a carne asada gordita, and a pair of deshebrada tacos and a pair of pastor tacos. Upon arriving, they had my food ready quickly after I paid. Got back to my hotel and chowed down. The fish taco is absolutely awesome; really packed with intense flavors from the slaw, sauce, and the juiciness of the fish. The fish is pretty thick and worth the price. The gordita is delicious as well and still piping hot when I got back. As for the tacos, those are tasty as well although smaller than I imagined for the price being paid. I plan to hit up this truck again next time I'm in the College Station/Bryan area. I understand why this is a favorite amongst the locals here and for good reason.
