I got to be part of a BEAUTIFUL wedding and got to look fantastic because of this shop! I don't…read moreknow about you, but I'm last minute Megan... for almost everything! I got a beautiful dress from a shop in Orlando but it was simply too long and too big in the bust area. I waited until about a month or so to take my dress in to have it fitted... yeah I'm someone's worst nightmare! But let me tell you, this shop was fantastic with getting it back to me within a week or so! I found this shop after googling for local places to alter my bridesmaids dress. I was on a budget and was dreading to see the price. I honestly thought I was going to spend a fortune. However, when I got their the woman who did the alterations was super friendly. She explained what needed to be taken in, where it needed to be taken in, and why it cost what she quoted me. I didn't realize it when I bought it, but I had gotten a three layer dress that required all three layers to be adjusted. (I'm short and plus size, so a lot had to be adjusted to the bottom and because plus size dresses are so varied I needed the top taken in to properly fit me along with the straps) I just have to say she did an amazing job, was an amazing price and was so pleasant! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and she listened to me when I asked questions. My dress fit perfectly and there were no issues with the work that was completed for me. Honestly would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing alterations!

She was quick with my halter top alteration, only taking a few days. Although she did complete what i asked by tightening the halter top around the neck, however, she did not advise that I may have trouble getting my head into the shirt if we move forward with the alteration. Once finished, i arrived to the store for pick up and tried on the top. That is when i realized but luckily only needed the shirt 1x so i did not make it a big deal. In my opinion, $25+ for my halter top alteration was a little much but i also can't do it myself so.... Just wish she would have advised and made me aware of what the risk could be for the alteration. This suggestion would be appreciated by any customer and further create trust in her work/advise.

She originally altered my dress for me for my wedding. A week before I was set to get married, I tried on my dress again. Since I was 4 months pregnant at the time the dress was too tight for me (which I was not expecting since I didn't have any extra weight gain). She completely fixed it for me and had it ready the day before the wedding! I don't think I could have had better customer service anywhere else. She is awesome and I will be recommending her to everyone I know.

I routinely use tailors and after moving to Plant City, needed someone local. I searched around and Sew n' Go had good reviews. I dropped two pairs of jeans off on a Thursday morning. The friendly lady welcomed me and asked what length I would like them. I preferred to try them on to ensure an accurate measurement. She took the jeans and offered to have them back by the following Tuesday. 5 day turn-around including the weekend is pretty quick. I've left jeans some places and had to wait 3 weeks to get them back. The cost was also decent. $24 total for two hems. The lowest I've paid before was around $30 for two hems. No complaints there. The issue came when I got home and tried on the pants. My wife looked at them said they were noticeably hemmed. The stitching was uneven and the hem was unprofessionally done. In turn, the pants are uneven. One of my pairs has two different length legs and the inside lengths are shorter than the outside. Needless to say, I won't be back. The jeans are wearable and on a daily basis, no one will likely notice but I'd much rather pay $6 more and go somewhere else. At least I know the work will be done right the first time.
