This place is a scam. The owner personally "fixed" my phone about two weeks, on October 23rd. and left the bottom corner elevated and screen loose. While picking the phone up, he complained about losing local business and repeatedly said how he wished more customers would come to him. Being a local guy myself, I wanted to support the small local business. After this sob story, along the ones about his impending divorce, I felt bad and assumed the loose screen was the best he was able to do as he had the phone for over an hour and half and also assumed he checked his work. Today, November 5th, the corner that was loose went completely black and the screen was not responding. When i returned to speak with Nick, he told me that it wasn't his problem and that he could fix it again but would give me a "discount" of $120. He told me that apparently if my phone had re-broke that day I could have brought it back, but that he couldn't stand by his own work 2 weeks later. I took the phone to another business that quickly fixed the phone for less then his "discounted" price and even went over each area of the phone and screen with me before I left. I would avoid this store at all costs and definitely seek out other business that offer the same repair WHILE standing by their work. The owner, Nick, also openly admitted to only accepting cash to hide transactions since he is in a drawn out divorce procedure with his wife so I could not even get a receipt to argue or prove my case to anyone else. Nick, not once did you ever say that "if there was an issue" but you are correct that I assumed that for $165 cash you would stand by your work and that the shotty work you did would be done to the best of your ability. Here is where you continue to lie. The screen was not cracked at all. The corner that was bubbling and loose that YOU left that went completely black with color lines down that side of the screen. There was absolutely no crack. It's funny you claim there was a crack, when there absolutely was not AND when you wouldn't even look at the phone when I brought it back because you knew that I was right. Also, not once did I claim to attempt to fix anything as I openly admitted to not knowing anything about it hence why I came to you to begin with. The "fix" you are referring to is me doing myself was buying a case to hold down the corner of the screen that you left up. So yes I attempted to bandage your lack of repair. And if by tossing it onto a couch is what you keep calling "dropped", then again yes, I was unaware that after you charged so much to fix, the phone would need to be placed in a bubble and avoid contact of any type. Is posting the truth trying to "insult you" or trying to save others from the same scam I was taken for? Especially when not one part was a lie or untrue. Also not sure why someone in the back would affect anything... Also, to add to it further, when I told someone what had happened their exact reply was "Nick?, yea I've had that happen 3 times with him." Also, if you want to talk about conveniently left out, that would be the part where you slandered another ethnicity and talked about how "they" use cheap parts. But again, if anyone is comfortable paying $285 to get the same thing issue fixed twice in 2 weeks, by all means visit Nick. read more
