November 27, 2018 I took my MacBook Pro in for a screen repair. I was trying to avoid Apple's…read moreexorbitant prices. Yet, somehow I accepted an upfront charge of $533.37 for a new screen at Paradigm. After several days I called to check on the status of my laptop and was told that the new screen was coming from China and it wasn't in yet. This went on for weeks. Finally, in mid January I was told my computer was ready. Yes, the screen was now intact, but new problems arose... Remember in the old days of computers when they told you not to leave a certain picture on your screen too long or it would get etched in? Apparently, someone in China was into anime. Most of my $2,000+ laptop has a screen with barely distinguishable images all over it. The bottom left looks like a phantom cartoon person with astonished eyes and a mouth open in shock. Plus, every so often the screen separates from the backing at the top revealing the lights within. I am able to press it back together. I contacted them in January. No response. I have considered following through with more action, but I really don't want to deal with this company anymore. I have purchased a new laptop and let children use the old one.

I've been at this since 830am and was ready to buy a phone. There's a way to tactfully correct your customer. When I said Samsung store, i meant to say they said they had a Samsung Diagnostic Computer which analyzes the contents. Yes, they are an insurance company. But they told me what was up, didnt pitch anything new and apologized. Maybe they were lying. But in the end they handled the situation w tact Indirectly call your customer a liar: You asked me if the phone got wet, anything spilled on it, do I let my kids play with it? Not to my knowledge and no my kid doesnt play w it. And then I was gonna say but who is 100% when it comes to spill or splash? But I didnt even get that far. You cut me off saying, "Hey man. Im just asking you some open ended questions (Nice, all good sales books recommend those) but then you said you said your kids dont play w it, I think they do... Bro, just keep that last part to yourself. I walked at that point because my phone is my livelihood. I dont know of anything spilling on it. Another reason my kids dont use my phone is because they have a PS5, PS4, Switch, DS, Fire Tablet, Samsung Tablet, Nintendo DS and other laptops of the like. When I said no, I meant it. Again, this store probably does good work. Just need to brush up on some modern sales books. Ordered them on a Monday afternoon and the install team got it all done on Wednesday. I thought I might have been able to do this myself. After watching the three pros mount the TV on the wall after installing two gang boxes and clean up all the wires, I was blown away. The final step was optimization of the sound and pumping up the rear surrounds which were always a bit light based on the factory settings. They also made the most of my cable universal remote and renamed the HDMI inputs so it is much more user friendly. The wall paint match on the speaker screens completed on the same day was the icing on the cake!
