Hello I have been here a few times and had good service…read morepricing seem good. Yesterday I took car in 7am they called by 7:30am and I approved the rear brakes rotor so on gave me a price. , 12pm I called still being worked on. I went at 4pm after work they had a problem where their machine wouldn't clear the code they called this expert in and took him 3 hrs to clear the code and was just finishing I was told, the bill but was $275.11 higher than quoted he said oh it's the guy that cleared the code, I told him I shouldn't be billed for this not my fault your machine wasn't good enough and this was never discussed with me and I didn't approve this charge. They are convenient down the street from work and refer customers to them all the time. So I ended paying full bill to get car and get home. Where I shouldn't been billed for it. I noticed invoice amount is different than the credit card charge higher amount. By $ another $ 27.78. = $302.90 over quoted amount. Unfortunately I will not return they didn't do the right thing and didn't even go by their own protocol by calling before they did additional work. Extra $ 275 and credit card slip higher than the invoice.

Now that my 7-year warranty has expired on my 2016 Subaru and the thought of having to jump from…read morethe dealership to a neighborhood mechanic has always been an anxiety plague decision for me. But, paying the 30-40% more for the same services at a dealership is just plain ridiculous and fiscally not prudent. So, I got one of John Ellis' flyers for a simple oil change, and that's what started the new relationship. They found some gasket leaks (I even had them show me under the car, which surprisingly they easily accommodated). Maita had previously mentioned a possible leak and ran a test... which at the time I didn't feel 100% comfortable with their determination that there was no leak- I felt at the time I was given a bogus diagnosis, but I had no choice to believe them...fast forward to John Ellis finding the 'same leak'...well, this helped push me to leave the dealership- plus a repair bid of 30% more for same repair. Well, John Ellis' team did the repair in a day and provided a 3 year warranty on their service... which makes me feel 1000% correct, that I made the right decision. I look forward to a long relationship with John Ellis...I just hope not to see them, but rarely. LOL!
