During my consultation appointment they put on a YouTube video for me to watch, after I finished that a "doctor" came in telling me about these 3D x rays they apparently needed to complete the surgery and basically saying we can't see anything without them. She told me medical doesn't cover it so I'd have to pay. Cool not a big deal. Basically I drove 3 hours to watch a YouTube video and have a mall salesperson dressed in scrubs sell me on something I later was told I did not at all need. Then at my surgery appointment. Helpful office staff I would give the secretary 5 stars but once it came to the people actually working on me I have no clue how they passed bedside manners in whatever education they got. Couldn't tell you their names because no one said hi hello I'll be doing abc today. Just filing into the room and hooking me up to things. I understand when you do the same routine over and over it gets boring or maybe your just not a big small talk person but you cannot expect a patient to be okay with the fact that your about to reach in their mouth and rip stuff out and the patient doesn't even know your name? Insane. Doctor dismissed a lot of my questions like snapping at me to hurry up and just put me under. Woke up sitting alone in the corner in a wheelchair fading in and out of anesthesia sleep pretty much totally unattended. Never in my life have I ever been in such an unprofessional healthcare setting. Lady who took me back and started hooking me up was in training I guess it would've been nice if they disclosed that while poking at me (I only realized when another tech had her feeling on my veins, not at all talking to me or acknowledging that there was a human attached to the arm they were touching). Over their lack of communication and bedside manners and lack of basic patient care brought this experience to 1 star, 0 if I could. If you can avoid this place do. It's the closest place that takes medical so most people on medical just get sent here. Staff isn't worried about your wellbeing just a check. Not sure how well the work was done but I guess we'll find that part out.

It took 1.5 months to get my first introductory cleaning + x-ray exam due to him being so busy. But, I now understand why he is so well-liked and highly requested. The dental hygienists and staff were so welcoming and friendly. They made me at peace the whole time. Somehow, my hygienist was able to clean my "6-year old" teeth in 1 hour... I could feel and see the difference instantly! It was amazing. Dr. Chui is a warm, friendly and thorough dentist. His office is equipped with the latest technology. While I was lying in the chair, I was able to see the exact teeth he was referencing and talking about via a large computer monitor hanging from the roof which was connected to a livestream camera... so awesome! Dr. Chui was able to show me on the screen where a cavity was forming and how I was grinding/clenching my teeth down. I could clearly see the uneven borders and enamel and even hairline cracks in my teeth through the screen images. I assume I have been doing this for years but Dr. Chui is the first dentist to go out of his way to educate me on this. While there, I even decided to purchase a custom-mold dental guard. This product is offered by Dr. Chui's office. Dr. Chui had two options to choose from and even insisted I purchase the more economical option to see if I utilized the guard enough before purchasing the more expensive one. He was upfront, honest and not "pushy" in any regard. In two hours at Dr. Chui's office, I learned more about dental hygiene and my own teeth structure then I had learned ever before. Dentist. I received a bill 8/11 for $223 for the consult. No one called let me know how much they billed $366 for the consult, and on top of that the office doesn't have a scale but they put people under (apparently they just take your word for your weight) my teen doesn't weigh herself and they asked me to estimate. I was 25 pounds off. The doc wasn't reassuring and now my kid is unrealistically afraid of the surgery and no one ever called me to let me know how much the surgery would be or when we could get her on the schedule. I was hoping she could have her wisdom teeth removed over the summer but now I have to start all over with another office. I'm glad this place thinks so highly of themselves. As a parent, I can't charge them for my time but I sure can protect my kids from them. Unfortunately, this office now feels far more expensive than others offering comparable care. I would encourage prospective patients to compare pricing with other offices before committing. Also, most advanced offices offer scanners instead of molds, so much more precise! And now if one loses retainer the can use scan avoiding costly old fashion mold replacement. Probably no good for $ for dentist but great for patients!
