Fenton in Cary, NC is absolutely beautiful and has become one of my favorite spots to walk around,…read moregrab a bite to eat, or just enjoy the atmosphere. The variety of restaurants, shops, and events really makes it feel like its own little community...you can easily spend hours here without realizing it. The layout is walkable, modern, and clean, and there's always something happening, whether it's live music, families gathering, or people just out enjoying the space. The only thing I'd love to see is a more consistent police presence, not in a way that feels overbearing, but more low-key and observant. There are times when people drive through the area revving their motorcycles or blasting music so loud that it ruins the calm, relaxed vibe. It's such a great place for families, couples, and visitors, and keeping it peaceful and safe would make it even better. Fenton really has all the makings of a perfect hangout spot in Cary. A little more attention to keeping the noise level under control would make it a 10 out of 10 experience every single time.

Fenton offers fine dining, high end retail and entertainment. I've visited previously for retail shopping, dining, cocktails, and events. I've enjoyed dining at Superica Tex Mex, Dram & Drought cocktail bar, Sports & Social, Ava Rooftop, PBR Cowboy Bar, Paragon Movie Theater, The Agency Bar, and shopping at Arula, Altrd State, and the Nike by Cary Store. Today I attended the Walk To Defeat Dementia event. Fenton was the perfect location. It was very well organized and everyone had more than enough room to spread out. I look forward to more businesses coming to Fenton.

Would recommend making a reservation. Was pretty busy we got there, even on a Sunday. We started with the pork goyza and had two of the rolls. All very good.

Having heard such positive things about Osha since we moved to the area, it has been on our list of…read moremust try Thai spots. We set up a reservation as it is can be difficult to just drop in unless you are prepared to wait. The atmosphere is great, with excellent ambiance, and all the staff that we met were very upbeat and kind. To start we had the Tom Kha soup and a sushi roll, spicy tuna. The Tom Kha was very disappointing. It just had a very very watered down taste with hardly any coconut flavor. It was missing the traditional Thai flavor and had zero sour flavor to it that is usually brought in by the lime juice at the end. Perhaps they forgot to make it properly. The spicy tuna roll was just ok. It had heavy rice with a small amount of tuna. Freshness was good. My wife ordered the Pad Thai which must be the most popular dish as everyone was ordering it. Her feedback was that it was average and a bit dry. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao which was very good. The flavor was excellent and I used the remaining sauce to put over some steamed white rice. My only feedback was the spice level. I specifically asked my server if the spice was traditional Thai level or was he grading the spice on a more moderate scale. He assured me, the levels were Thai and that the food was very spicy. I went medium spice and it was very light and tame. I would go more spicy in the future. Overall the experience was a nice outing and we enjoyed the location. The food however was very mid range. Having traveled throughout Thailand, I was really hoping to have a more authentic experience but this feels like a sort of fusion. We have now tried 4 or 5 Thai spots around the greater Triangle area and Osha has been at the bottom food wise. With such amazing other feedback, I have to wonder if we just experienced an off-night for the amazing Thai food

The hotel property is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a mix of tables, sofas, and comfortable chairs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We arrived 3/4 past noon and chose to sit in the study/library area rather than the main dining room. I would strongly recommend this option. The study is quiet and comfortable, while the main restaurant area was noticeably louder. The proximity allows you to enjoy the ambiance without the noise. The menu offerings felt fairly typical for this style of restaurant. We tried the skillet cornbread. It was served room temperature and on the dry side. However, the whipped butter that accompanied it was excellent. Unfortunately, the cornbread was not warm enough to melt it, which would have improved the experience. The Italian wedding soup was very good and served properly hot. We also ordered the local lettuces salad with chicken. The salad itself was fresh, but the chicken was visibly dry and tasted the same. Interestingly, placing the chicken into the soup made it more enjoyable. The double cheeseburger was average. The bun struggled to hold together under the two patties and cheese. The flavor was acceptable but not memorable. Our server was exceptional. Attentive, professional, and gracious throughout the meal. The service elevated the the mediocre experience. Overall, Peck & Plume offers a beautiful setting and excellent service. For a quieter meal, request the study/library seating. While the food was satisfactory, it did not quite match the charm of the surroundings. Would we go again? Maybe. If we did, we would order different items. But, we would request Brian as the server.
