Intown Trolly is such a great way to see Kennebunkport, and Dan was a fantastic guide! We learned about the early European settlers in the area, the three core industries that put Kennebunkport on the map, the captains who made Kennebunkport home, and more. It was an hour well-spent in a beautiful trolly with a nice breeze in our hair. The tours are at 11am daily and can be booked online. Cash tips only. read more

So glad we signed up and enjoyed the 1 hour tour, and Ed was an excellent guide. The town is lovely and the scenery is perfect Maine and this tour allowed you to sit back and soak it all in while someone else drives and provides some great narration and humor. I'd recommend this for anyone new to Kennebunkport, as this was our first time visiting and this really added to our few days there. read more

My wife and I was in Kennenbunkport for a weekend vacation and noticed a advertisement leaflet in the Inn we were staying about this Trolley service. So it was a raining quite hard the morning we decided to take the trolley as we heard that it was a guided tour of the area and jumped on in front of the boathouse hotel and restaurant. I must say Ed the driver is extremely nice and knowledgeable about the area giving us a great lesson of the areas history and which hotels are great to stay in or which ones are dog friendly. He even waited for us to go get a gorgeous picture from one of the hotel that has a beautiful view of the sea. Definitely a must if you're visiting Kennebunkport for the first time as it helps orient you and figure out what you wanna see or eat during your stay. read more

We hired Intown Trolley Co. to shuttle our guests from their hotels in Kennebunkport, ME to our wedding venue. Andrea was helpful, flexible, and easy to work with. We gave her a list of locations and she came back to us with what would work best for the pick-up and drop-off schedule. On the day of the wedding, we relied on Intown to be prompt and get our guests to the venue. Their reliability and professionalism were outstanding. Our guests loved the whole trolley experience and appreciated getting the scenic tour of the area as the trolley made it's way from hotel to hotel. As the bride and groom, it was incredible having everyone show up at the same time, not worrying about anyone getting lost on the way, and most importantly, having a safe reliable way home at the end of the night. We didn't really have the chance to formally meet the driver, but multiple guests commented that he was personable and friendly. read more

This was mine and my boyfriend's first time in Kennebunkport. I was looking online for different things to do and came across the Intown Trolley and figured it would be a good idea to get a lay of the land. We got on at Dock Square and we were on the trolley for about an hour. Our guide was Ed and he was terrific!! He was so informative and funny. We are so happy we did this and I highly recommend doing this when you are in Kennebunk or Kennebunkport for the first time!! read more

We just took this trolley tour and our driver was Patrick. He was so interesting and gave a lot of information on the area so the ride was very pleasant. You can hop on and off at different stops and the trolley is comfy. I would recommend this tour to everyone who visits Kennebunkport. A must!! read more

We took this trolley tour of Kennebunkport because we had a short amount of time in town. We start off near the Landing restaurant and drive along the beach areas, see the Bushes house and a Francescan Monestary. There are several on-and-off stops, particulalry at the large hotels. The cost is $14 a person, but there is a discount for families, kids and senior citizens. The tour lasts about 45 mins and the driver is very friendly. It is a nice way to get around town without driving. However, you are going to want to pick a nice day for it; we had a very foggy day and could barely see anything out on the water. read more

When you are visiting Kennebunkport, just realize that basically there is no parking anywhere, and if you accept that then you'll be pleasantly surprised when every once in a while you can drive and park somewhere. Hubby and I recently returned from a great trip up the southern Maine coast, and Kennebunkport is adorable, and charming, and crowded, and expensive. First of all, note my tip it's cash only. All the other reviews said $15 each, and it was $16 each last week. It is technically a "hop on, hop off" tour, but there's only one trolley doing an hour loop. So if you want to hop off at one of the beach areas, you're there for an hour, same goes if you want to check out The Colony resort, etc. In the uber-crowded zero parking harbor side shopping district the only stop is also the start... so this won't do you any good if you are trying to save your feet from hiking from shop to shop. The driver was entertaining enough, and told insider tips pointing out things about the area. He also allows time on the drive back for you to ask him questions if you wish. This is a nice option so that both of you can enjoy seeing the sights and not have one of you driving and having to be on constant alert for pedestrians crossing in front of you (very common here), so while $16 may seem steep for an hour tour... this is New England, and everything is going to be more expensive than you think. Interesting tidbit #1 from our helpful driver: when the Bushes arrive at Walker Point in the spring they are there or the duration until they leave in October. I'd have thought they did more back and forth. Also, if George H's super long speed boat is moored out near the compound, that means he's feeling pretty good and going to go for a boat ride later that day. We should all do so at age 92, don't you think? read more

The Intown Trolley is good for getting into Kennebunkport or to the beach. Otherwise, most of the stops are at hotels. It's a hop on/hop off, but it stops running at 4:00 in the summer. Our first driver was competent, but about half his spiel was advertising for local businesses - eat here, shop there, stay here, etc. Our second driver gave more information and told some good corny jokes. If you want to spend the day at the beach (where parking is tough and passes are $15) the trolley is the way to go. But as a tour of the area, it's kind of pricey at $15 for 45 minutes. read more

Loved the trolley tour with Ed today! His knowledge of history was very informative and entertaining.

We're visiting for our first anniversary and decided to do this tour, we are so glad we did!! Ed was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us engaged throughout the whole tour. His driving pace was not too fast or slow. There were a few points of congestion of traffic, but even during those moments Ed would make a joke or share some tidbit of information about the town. Highly recommend this tour! read more

I really enjoyed the tour. It was incredibly relaxing being able to learn about the history of some of the buildings in this beautiful town. Ed was our tour gm guide and he was very knowledgeable and personable. The only downfall was finding parking, so just make sure and leave plenty of time for that! read more
