After the other passenger arrived the cab drove for 2 blocks and stopped and said that we had to wait for another passenger...... I waited almost one hour to arrive in my destination. In the mean time the cab driver said he was trying to do his job and blah blah blah.....The driver was very disrespectful saying that this is the way taxis run in US, what a heck? I've never seen a cab driver do that. Anyway, when we arrived in the destination the cab charged a full fare to each one instead splitting the fare. If you can don't take their cabs. I spoke with the dispatcher and was told the driver would "be there when he gets there" & " you're not the only one getting a ride", & " you need to learn to wait your turn". I told her I would be late for work and her come back was "oh well, he's almost there". When the driver finally arrived, 25 mins late, he said he just got the call. The guy shows up and gets me there in about 5 minutes down 95. What do you think this would cost? $10? $15? Nope. $35 DOLLARS. 3 MILES, 5 minute drive. These guys are crooks. I'd called in the mid morning for a pick up at 1:30 PM that same day, and he agreed to take me. He was prompt, very pleasant, and was a careful driver. Traveled again with him just recently and would recommend highly. New, spacious and clean car. It is outfitted with an enclosed rooftop luggage rack, and the suv looks like it sits at least six. Anyway, glad I found steve. A real lifesaver.
