Tagging luggage according to Logan terminal was a good system. The driver and folks at the counter were friendly. The bus seating was clean and comfy. Concord is relatively high tech for a coach bus business with wifi on board, an automated safety video, and automated boarding calls in the bus terminal. Where to line up and when to arrive is clear. Water bottles are offered as you're boarding. On the bus, you have a small restroom, drink holders, outlets, and a couple trash cans. The location of the terminal in Portland is central and co-located with Amtrak. The restroom at this transportation center is nice.

We had a very disappointing experience with this car service. Between parking fees, gas, tolls, and the concern of leaving our car for that long, hiring a car service seemed like the smart choice. Unfortunately, the driver never showed up. At our scheduled pickup time, I called and initially reached voicemail. After leaving a message and waiting a few minutes, I called again. This time someone answered and simply said, "we screwed up--do you have another way to get to the airport?" We had no choice but to drive ourselves. While we were away, the company emailed offering a complimentary ride home. However, this was not helpful since our car was already at the airport. As a result, we ended up paying about $150 more in parking alone than we would have for the original round-trip service--on top of gas and tolls. Overall, this experience showed a lack of reliability and accountability. I would not recommend this car service.

The risers on the speed bumps were way too high. It cause our burners to come loose, a shade fell from the window, and one of the slides skipped a tooth causing it to not open properly. Also, the WIFI was terrible. We live out of our camper and rely on a decent WIFI to pay bills and communicate outside. When we returned to our hometown I had to drop my camper off to a RV repair center and spent several hundred dollars to repair it. Needless to say our stay was a two out of five star review. Our tour guides Julie and Peter had a wealth of information to share. We were able to go inside a couple of the very old homes we learned about. We happened to book the tour on the 3rd day of the new season, so there were only three of us, which was nice! I highly recommend. Oh, and if you are driving, there is a public pay lot on the right, just as you enter the square by Alisson's Restaurant. It fills up, so get there before lunch and snag a spot.
